Dumb as hollywood can get!

Alright, there making one of the greatest true story movies Friday night lates, into a tv series, its the dumbest thing hollywoods tryied to do, there ruining the movie! >:(

Anyway, Disney channel does the same thing.  Lilo and Stitch was a good movie, but it was ruined when they came out with the series.  And all of those sequels.  The same with The Emperor's New Groove.  With the latter, Disney actually went backwards and made Kuzco back to his arrogant self, as if he had never learnt anything by trekking through the mountains with Poncha.

Emperors new groove rocked. I loved that movie. Then the series killed it, especially after David Spade didnt voice him in the series. I agree with you on that and Lilo and Stitch. Good points Hi no Seijin. :D

Well, I find it best to just try to avoid cliched spin-offs as much as possible. Still, I do agree that Disney is going over the top with sequels. There're still more coming, in fact! :-[

Still, if any of those sequels were good enough to make it into the KH games, I can be quite happy; it could add a little continuation to the series.

Also, I agree that The Emperor's New Groove rocked! It's just plain hilarious! :P

Talking of sequals, there are apparently two more shrek films on the way... Oh and I didn't realise they were making a series of friday night lights, that's really depressing...  :-*

Shrek's sequals are different. Unlike most other sequals, that are made to make more cash out of a huge succes, these "sequals" were already planned at the very start. When Shrek (1) was released, they already had the big lines for the "sequals" ready a long time ago. They are just as pure as the very first movie and should be treated as such. Whether you like the movies or not is something completely different.

Well, they kind of ruined the lion king by making it into a tv show, the temon and pumba show, yea yea, I know, I spelled those names totally wrong. ;D

Most of the time, sequels to movies aren't that good. Like for instance, Wayne's World 2, didn't really like it. But I'm surprised they were able to make the sequel to Shrek if not as good, but better than the first.
