I just "aquired 190$, but I can't decide what to get. I could wait a little while longer to get the Wii, or buy a PS2 and .hack games, and Tales, FFX/XII, and KH1/2. But Wii has the better TP, and has motion stuff, and will get lots of innovative titles. I don't know what to do!  :'(
Also, how much does a gamecube sell for? A good condition one.

Personally, I'd roll a d20 to decide.  There are great titles that on both systems that I would want to get, so if I had money to either get a Wii or a PS2, I'd have a tough time deciding myself.

under 100 dollars for a good gamecube, isn't it? It was when we got it last year...I wouldn't get the Wii just for TP yet, I would wait for Brawl and some other good ones, one or two games isn't much to go on, especially if you already have Gamecube TP. PS2 has a lot of great games that have come out over the years, so that would be pretty good. IT all depends on whether you want to play the great games of the past or prepare yourself for the future.

i have beaten Gamecube TP, but I want to try the Wii version. Just like I want to try original LA.

I say get a Wii, brotha. It's next gen, and it has some great titles in the future, such as Super Sm ash Bros Brawl, Twilight Princess, Mario Strikers Charged... the list goes on. Get a Wii. You won't regret it.

I say, go for the PS2. The Wii's fairly new, right? So you can wait a bit longer to get one; you know, once it gets some worthwhile games. And, like you said, the PS2 has a bunch of great games, so unless you're holding out for the PS3 *shudders* (whose backwards compatibility sucks *ss, by the way), then I'd spring for the PS2.

I don't think 190 bucks is enough for a wii. A ps2 and some games maybe, but NOT a wii.

I highly recommend a Wii, I sold my PS2 immediately once I got my Wii as I saw no more use for it. There are some great games for it but I grew weary of the PS2 and its "same games". By which I mean almost all the big games on the PS2 are similar in philosophy, lots of blood and gore, killing, swearing, and nudity and little storyline. The PS2 will not be making any more games after this year so you might as well save up a little more (probably take a while to find a Wii anyways) and get a Wii with already a few great games, more on the way, and the fantastic (and growing) Virtual Console library.
