i think OoA is harder

To General Zelda this topic goes!  ;)

Anyway, I think LoZ is harder. You don't get as many clues, so you're more tempted to use walthroughs. Still, I can play that one for hours on end.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

sorry bout putting it in the wrong area ??? i won LoZ anout3 months ago and i can still remember were most of the rooms are... as for the eneimes.. there alot harder in LoZ, but my weakness in zelda is the puzzles not the battles

DW

I can't figure out ANYTHING in LoZ. I just run around the place randomly. I've beaten level 1 and found level 3, then forgot where it was ???

i have a hard time finding level 2, i know its in a cool area. my brother can get past all the levels in 3 days  :-X

DW

OoA gave you direction at least, and hints to solve the puzzles. LoZ had puzzles with no hints; sometimes you didn't even know there WAS a puzzle.

Puzzles? What Puzzles? I guess the main thing was about the second quest where you looked everywhere and you couldn't find the next room, until BAM you somehow walk through a wall.

Overall, I think LoZ is good for a good old hardcore challenge. But Oracle of Ages is very good for a puzzle challenge, because some of them were a little tricky to get around...

Mysterious F.

I never finished LOZ (it's that hard) and I actually thought most of Ages was either easy or medium. (although the fifth dungeon is an exception) I'll have to go with LOZ.

darkphantomime

You mean that dungeon you find the red rod that makes orange blocks appear? I can't believe you found that hard.

Personally. I thought the mermaid's cave or Jabu-Jabu was harde(st)r.

MasterKeyX

LoZ. It's harder by 10000 times. You can't beat it without some serious brainpower an spirit.

I never played Oracles, but I do have to admit, I had no idea what I was doing in LOZ. XD; There's very few hints...

i HATED Jabu jabus belly  :o  ... btw why, am i missing something between these 2 or are they the same?
:(  sad
:'(  cry

haha  :D

Mysterious F.

They're the same, when we changed from regular smilies (like those from Walmart) to the Link smilies, there wasn't enough distinction from cry and sad, so instead we made them the exact same thing.

I actually thought Jabu-Jabu's Belly was basically straight-forward. It's pretty easy to find the room where you lower or increase the water levels, and the mini-boss and boss battles were so easy it's sad.

The confusing part about Crown Dungeon (the fifth dungeon with the CANE OF SOMARIA) is that a large fraction of the rooms can only be accessed via through underground tunnels (where instead of showing everything from above they show everything from the side) and there are so many it's easy to get confused, and the red and blue switches don't help at all. Surprisingly, Mermaid's Cavern (Level 6) wasn't even half as hard, and that dungeon takes place in two different times.

darkphantomime

Those parts in Level 5 were pretty common in the original Legend of Zelda. I just didn't find it overly hard...

MasterKeyX

What really made LoZ  so hard was that there were almost no in-game hints. You really just had to explore for HOURS on end.
