I don't really care, I just think it be cool that I get to be the first person to reach 5000, and too think, the first few months I joined, I was a little inactive, heh, well, psh, not anymore.

Hi no Seijin

You don't care, and yet you brag about it?  Hmm, I do believe that's called a paradox.  You have a knack for creating those, don't you?

I wasn't bragging, I was just saying how cool it was that I was the first person on here to get 5000 posts.

Hi no Seijin

Brag, according to dictionary.com:
Quote
–verb (used without object)
1.   to use boastful language; boast: He bragged endlessly about his high score.
–verb (used with object)
2.   to boast of: He bragged that he had won.

Let's see, you're initial post in this thread:

Unless I'm mistaken, "woot" is boastful language.  So yes, you were bragging.

Besides, so what if you're the first person to get 5,000 posts.  No offense, but maybe if more of your posts showed a tad bit more thought, I'd be more impressed.

JDog. Chill out dude... I mean... I could see if it were a contest, but its not. I make sure that my posts(other than in the chatboard) have a little depth, and a lot of other people here do as well. You do sometimes, but not most of the time. Let me tell you a little story.

(kids gather around)

There once was a member of TDC who joined near the end of 2005, and the beginning of 2006. This member posted steadily, but surely. He dedicated quite a bit of time to TDC, and was in the top 15 posters. He acted as you did for a time, but he eventually realized that it wasn't a competition. His name was ZV.

(children gasp)

Then, a member joined, and her name was Medli. She was fun, quirky, and cool to be around. But a majority of her posts were one worders, or complete and utter crap. She accumulated almost as many posts as ZV did in a quarter of the time. ZV was the first one of TDC to accumulate Lone Wolf Thief Ranking. She was the second, and she hadn't been here that long. A lot of the members were posting about (omg they post a lot) or (look at how many posts ZV/Medli have) and quite frankly, I got sick of it, as did Jack, and the Veteran members of the site.

(children fall asleep)

We worked it out that we wouldn't make it a competition anymore, and a few of us even got nominated for mod-ship.

If people like the way you operate, they tend to respect you a little more.. These people are called friends XD
I've made a lot of them here at TDC, and I've done it without 5000 posts.

The moral of the story? Its not a competition, and a lot of people would appreciate if you would let up about how many posts you have. I hate to say things like that, but I seem to be the only person with enough courage to flat out say it to your face, in terms that you can completely and clearly understand.

I'm telling you this as a friend, and as a local resident of the desert. Please understand that I'm not being a bully(like a certain HNS I know XD) but I'm being a friend. Thanks for laying on the sarcasm HNS, I can always count on you ^_^

(If only Saber were here to join the sarcasm)
:P

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.
