PH came last october, so who knows what the next zelda will be like or when it's going to come out?l hope it will be just as an impact as other zelda games, yet still have a new, epic, and glorious new atmosphere and feeling../wii web browser

The next Zelda will suck.  Unless they bring back transformation masks (Gerudo mask equals Gerudo form this time!) and devote an entire dungeon to screwing up your perception (study M.C. Escher!).  Also, they need to go back to Termina and/or work with the Tarm Ruins some more.  Only then will it truly contend with MM.

Oh, and new races.  Namely anthropomorphic races.  That are more human than animal.  Zoras are cool and all, but catgirls are smexier.
Best.  Cane.  EVER!

now i feel nostalgic.i haven't played MM in years. if the next zelda had MM's atmosphere(one of the reasons i loved it so much), it could only lead to sucess.

To be blunt, I lost so much faith in Zelda after playing PH. The story line was horrible, the final boss fight was just too easy, and most of all the monsters. I love Zelda because of the huge character and monster diversity. There where a few monsters from the other Zelda games but the others looked just corny and horrid. I shudder at the thought of the next Zelda game if hey go by the same standerds they did with PH.

Blaaah.... a new Zelda is under development. It will be something sci-fi  :D I love sci-fi

See, Ive been hearing rumors about a Zelda MMORPG. I hear it might be something like World of Warcraft. Id pay well over $100 for that.

MM atmosphere : yes. Another MM: no.  :D Not that is a bad idea. But copying a game was never a good idea. Miyamoto is doing great for us now. The Endless Adventure... aaaah.... ;D

I don't know how well that could do.
If they do it right and skillfully, then it could be great.
But if they screw it up, it will sucks.

As for PH, I didn't like it that much.
Too easy.

With the fact that you can't hardwire a Wii directly to the internet via ethernet, it'd be rather laggy no matter what you do if you were to have an MMORPG for the system.  I mean, maybe if you could purchase an accessory for it that would allow you to jack in, and maybe if they actually sold that with the game, then that'd be a different matter.  As it is, though.

That, and I don't really see how they would pull it off without rewriting the entire Zelda formula in a big, bad way.  Keyword:  Bad.

Vaati

To tell you the truth, I really hated PH. Not so much that it was a sequel (because MM was a sequel and it wasn't that bad at all) but mainly the fact that it had a whole different setup of controls. I couldn't even get used to it, either. And maybe it was the fact that is was a hanheld game. I'm not very fond of handheld games, really, because it makes me have to scrunch up, hld my hands close together, and strain my eyes trying to look at this tiny screen. Don't get me wrong, the idea of the DS's touchscreen is nice and all, but it's way to small...for me, that is.
TP was very, though. And it's probably that being it on the GC and Wii, it's a videogame, and therefore I don't have to strain myself trying to play it on a dinky little DS. I know that the next Zelda won't be on GC but I actually kinda hope it's on Wii for that reason that it will be easier to play and possibly better graphics, but not go too overboard, of course.

That could go two directions;
1. a trainwreck of havoc, or
2. completely and totaly freaking awesome.

I read an artical somewhere (can't remember where it was) about how they think there going to make a new Zelda for Wii and it is going to be sort of like MM story line, like link saving something else other that princess Zelda from Ganondorf stealing the triforce becuase appartnly a lot of people really like the difference in MM how it was about saving a unknow city to Link from a falling moon instead of the princess deal, but to me doesn't matter either way I WOULD LOVE A NEW ZELDA GAME

Pale Dim

Well, as long as you don't have just seven days to complete it, I'm good.

I think Nintendo could learn alot from Bethesda Game Studios(makers of The Elder Scrolls series and fallout 3).
