I just got Radiant Dawn and I have to say, it is awesome.  I have never played any FE games, and now I am hooked.  I just finished playing through Easy mode, and am now trying to beat it in Normal mode.  It is hard, but I'm gonna try.

If you have the game, what part are you up to and what have you accomplished?  Tell me a bit about your experience with it.  I wanna see where other people are.

Talk about any other FE game too.

Hi no Seijin

Why couldn't this be a general FE thread?! D:

Hi no Seijin

My goodness, you didn't have to take me seriously. ;)

FE 8 is the only one I've played.  That FE 7 always seem to elude me. ::)

Yes I did.

If I did not, I would be found dead with verbal chloroform in my system

Rev Rabies

I have played all of the american releases, and FE6

And since i rented RD, i've yet to beat it

MagmarFire

Two of the FE games that I played, JDog let me borrow (PoR and TSS). Boy, am I glad he did. I love the series! :D

And RD is, indeed, awesome. Wish they kept the old Support Conversation system, though... :'(

Normal Mode: Part 3- A Reason to Fight
This is as far as I've gotten. I started on Normal mode, because I've played FE games before, and I thought I could work my way through it. I DO know how to play, its just that its really really hard when you have extremely weak troops, and your in a dark enemy infested swamp. I really leveled up my characters when I was playing with Ike, but now I'm back with Sothe and the gang, and they have been doing absolutely nothing since I was last using them, so they suck. Even Tom Cruise(Nolan) who used to be pretty good, really sucks now. He's even leveled up to a Warrior. I haven't played the game much since I got Naruto Clash of Ninja Revolution (its a real party game).

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

Hi no Seijin

Now, see, the old Support Conversation for me is units had to be standing next to each other for a certain number of turns.  I heard that it was different for Path of Radiance; something like two units just have to be on the same field and then a support conversation could happen on the prep screen for the next chapter?  What's it like in Radiant Dawn then?

Oh, and Goddess of the Dawn is a better subtitle than Radiant Dawn, but since Nintendo isn't using it, I'll just see if I can't use that as a chapter title for one of my fanfics.

Even if it was in Japan, N.A. would have dumbed it down so that religious audiences in America won't be offended.

Dude ZV, you obviously don't understand, you have the black knight, sothe, and nolan in your party, they are all very strong

It's something like this: You start out like you would in any classic Support system. Just have compatible units stand next to each other in adjacent spaces. When they develop enough trust, you can give them Support Bonuses.

The thing is, though, in the RD system, you can only have one unit support one other unit at a time. If you want to support another character, you'll have to delete all the other bonuses that you had with that units original Support partner. Plus, to (help, I guess) build more trust between units, units that are already supporting each other can have Support Conversations, but what I dislike about them is that they're exceedingly short. It's usually just one message box per character in the conversation. :-*

Hi no Seijin

But everyone loves supporting with multiple fire affiliated people so they can get a crazy crit bonus! D:

And one message box per character?!?!  How is that going to help establish back stories?! D:

Yeah ZV, you have Zihark too.  He. Is. AWESOME

And HNS, if you pair certain characters up, some back stories do happen, but nothing major.  Just marriages and stuff.

Hi no Seijin

I'm not talking about after you beat the game.  I'm talking about stuff you learn about characters during the support conversation.
