Okay, I gotcha. I guess it would also be possible that he was complaining about her because she's also a main character. You know...main character dies, game over, and all that jazz...

But on my part, maybe I was being too general. After all, Saleh is a beast with Excalibur, in my opinion... ;)

Saleh is a beast without Excalibur.  I don't use the Sacred Twin weapons unless I absolutely have to kill something in one hit.  Or if it's the only way to damage the enemy (and that's only one enemy, really).

About the whole mage thing, my maiden in RD has beastly def, PUMP THINGS INTO THE BAD STATS. Of course, noone has better def then my gatrie, who also negates enemy crits btw

What's the point of negating crits if they aren't going to do anything anyways?

Ummm, Rinku, if a character in your control gets killed, that's the end for them.

No way. If Ranulf dies he'll say something that infers he's only retreating for now, like Janaff did, and of course you'll see him again later in your list of people. Or Mist. I don't like Mist, but she never truly dies, even when you try to kill her off intentionally...

Are you sure of that? I thought that important characters like that don't die, but you can't use them again if their HP gets to 0. :-\

I remember in PoR, if soren died he just retreated, but you couldn't use him again

Yeah, for the rest of the chapter, but what I'm saying is that Janaff also disappeared completely...  :(


Also, something keeps logging me out every time I change screens.

IF A CHARACTER'S HP IS REDUCED TO ZERO, THEY ARE GONE FOR GOOD NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY.

They may say not die, but they will be too injured to ever fight again.

It's okay, I'm just in the denial stage... maybe if the game wasn't so long I'd start over... anyone beaten it yet? How many chapters are there? Do Ike+Mercenaries and Micaiah+Co. every mash together into one big nice army?

Also, bout Heather. I finally get me a female thief and she disappoints me to no end...

I did.  There are a lot of chapters (4 parts), and they do merge to become a big army near the end chapters

IT's cause you didnt beef up heather enough rinku, rouges are your best friend beside Gatrie in RD

That would depend on the chapter, Dr. For instance, in "The Price," the enemy units are so overpowered. I even had a little trouble using Sothe because of it. >>

And I hope they mash into a big group soon. It feels like I'm betraying the other side. Besides, the Dawn Brigade needs more units badly. In "The Price," I ended up losing three units. :P
