I didn't forget; that just wasn't technically part of fixing the RROD, but merely a supplement to help prevent it from happening again.

Also, it's probably still under warranty, so what would stop them from just sending it to Microsoft for an authorized repair? Well, aside from the fact that the management won't do so for no reason other than laziness...

I actuallysaw a RRoD at a gamestop XBox I went in and I'm like you guys are fail. Than I bought a zelda belt buckle and left.
