Wolf Link without Midna

Well, seeing as how people can name the horse, why not name it now?  Most people are going to stick with Epona.  Actually, we had a topic dealing with what people were going to name the horse a while back.  I should dig it up again.

Thanks for the info about horses.  Also, TP Link doesn't necessarily have to be a descendant of OoT Link.  Does it say anywhere in the games that every single Link is related to each other?  We know that Link is a descendant of the Knights of Hyrule in ALttP, but do we see any of the other Links a Knight of Hyrule?  Just as it is possible that every Link is related, it is possible that some are not.

That's a good question. I think they'll need to be very honourable, selfless, and very courageous. I have a slight suspicion that they where inspired by the Knights of the Round Table. It's definitely not the only Arthurian inspiration in Zelda.

We were, but somehow we got off track. Turns out Midna cannot move freely in the world of light, so she stays as your shadow when you arent in the Twilight Realm. And yes, when you pull the master sword, you get the physical embodiment of the evil that made you a wolf. Harnessing it, you can transform at will! Its fun scaring people in castle town! :P

What TP Epona? The horse still doesn't have a name! Stop calling it Epona!

And even though it's possible, chances are slim. Apart from certain bloodline rights, there's no reason to assume anyone is anyone else's descendant.

The horse could also be a descendant of any other you see at the ranch, or one of the horses of the Gerudo, or Ganondorf's horse, or Impa's horse or none of them at all; every one of them is just as possible.

Midna said Link was actually lucky that he turned into a wolf and not a spirit like everyone else. But it kind of makes you wonder, why didn't Zelda turn into a wolf or a spirit?

Hmmm... Maybe because she has strong magic? So that she had enough magic power, to prevent her from transforming.

It was probably part of the deal she struck with Zant...and the triforce may have had to do with it as well. I was actually kind of disappointed with the scene where you first see her. Yeah graphics and dialogue were impressive, but I knew it was Zelda the second I got a glimpse through the hood at her face, so it wasn't that dramatic when she revealed her identity...
