English grammar actually doesn't allow it.

From what I heard, it's indeed frowned upon by the "big guys" of the rules of English (darn them), but I don't think it's necessarily wrong. I mean, you can start off those sentences with conjunctive adverbs and it'll be grammatically correct.

I have no problems with starting a sentence with the word "but" if I can make it sound good.  Besides, we had to break a few grammar and spelling words to keep this game going, so why bother arguing about it here?
