favorite meal....oysters with hot sauce to start things off...then...a nice seafood pasta medley with lots of clams...then white mountain bread dipped in the juices of clams....delicious.

I am so lucky, at my Monday Night Bible study group my aunt and Grandma make dinner every night. They are really good cooks of Japanese, hawaiin, and a bunch of other kidns of food.

Grilled lamb, onions, and green bell peppers, or roasted sweet potatoes. Or um, mushy peas with vinegar.
Strips of sticky dried banana with black coffee and cinnamon.
Coconut milk over sticky rice. Mochi daifuku! Korean-style spicy squid jerky.
And um...anything cake-y and sweet. You know what?! I want Paula Deen to come live with me and make me desserts. I'd gain 50 billion pounds, but it'd be oh-so heavenly.

:3 I'm kinda easy to please.

I also have really trashy taste. It's like a guilty secret, but I saw a picture of one of those "hillbilly wedding cakes" things (a tower of Little Debbie/Hostess snacks, essentially) and I've been pining over it ever since. Ha.

Haha hillbilly wedding cakes...I have never heard of that. Surpised I didn't see that at the last wedding reception I was at as it was probably one of the cheapest ones I have ever seen.

what did it look like?

bgrugby

It did not look bad, the wedding was nice but it was cheap the recpetion was held in a VFW hall and it was just plain cheap...which is why a 19 and 20 year old should not marry.

DW

my dad went to a cheesy wedding where they had the best men, bridesmaids, parents, and everything else come out of tunnels and be announced like football players.

Haha tunnels? I never saw that, when I was a groomsman for my sister's wedding we of course waited outside the reception hall and were introduced individually with our partner which is normal, but I have never seen a tunnel used.

No I mean they did the whole Superbowl deal, announcer in a booming voice, they came out jumping and stuff, and the audience was supposed to cheer and clap...then at the reception they made them wait three hours to eat, because they had a schedule and wanted to talk a lot.

Ok lets get back on topic about food, mostly because I am fighting the urge to put DFP in their place.

One food I could not understand people really liking is ham. Alot of people seem to love it and I have to endure it every Easter. But to me its not a real meat...meat should not be sweet. What is the appeal?
