As for the other theory, I agree that it's most likely Navi. Unless it's some kind of an invisible friend who accompanied him during his adventure in OoT.

You never know, maybe Link DOES have invisible friends?

I reckon that Ocra is a decendant of OoT Link as he is incredibly skiled in swordsplay for someone that old, surley only the Hero of Times relatives could pull of manuvours like them. But then again it is a long shot.

hell no. if there is a shiekah in that game, we would have definitly known. Did the shiekah die out in the great flood? I hope not. The gorons survived, because they lived in the mountains, and they are now traveling merchants. The only Zora i saw in the game was the dead earth sage. But im sure they survived. THEY ARE WATER CREATURES!! they probably gained from the great flood. The hylians survived of course. Not too sure about the deku though. The dudongos died out. Come to think about it, it wasnt such a wise idea for nintendo, unless wind waker 2 comes last in the sieries.

If it is the same one I am thinking of it is the one outside ganons quarters in the Forsaken Fortress, just after you defeat the helmaroc king they are by the side of the door

Sorry, its a little late now but i'd just like to point out. The shield in WW bears no resemblance to the hylian shied or the deku shield. The one that is passed down could not be one owned by the hero of time.... possibly a replica made at a later date.

Yes, plus there is no apparant relation between the 2 Links, unless the Links Brother in OoT Theory is correct and he had children, that went on to be the ancestors of WW Link and Aryll, this would explain the Hero's bloodline aswel as allowing the no relevant connection to be correct.

The shield can still be the same. I believe it was changed because the graphics were changed.
