I have a tendency to overlook annoying things in people and still be friends with them.  How dare I be that way. ::)

Trust me, I know he's a video game character.  But that doesn't mean I can't get attached to him.  It's not uncommon for people to get attached to characters.  Tingle is a real person for me.

I never said it was a major annoyance. It is just a video game, so can't I be annoyed at a fictional video game character for even the slightest hindrance of my quest? Doesn't he realize Ganon could take over the world?!

You can get attached to any character. I can even imagine how someone could get attached to Ganondorf, in WW his story is rather sad. People can be attached to whoever they feel attached to, you can't tell them who to like and who not to like.
