Here's an idea: when somebody is giving her the crap that you're describing, defend her and tell the people giving her the crap to back off. Get backup if you need to.

Maybe if you go incognito and catch the guys in the act? You could probably approach the guys who are being mean to her, even if they aren't doing it at the time. Again, backup is advised.
