Medli can't end up with the Hero of Time because the Hero of Time was already dead by the time she was born. Not all the Links have to be related, I believe they are all reincarnations. TMC Link - Zelda (Childhood friends...a classic)
TWW Link - Tetra (it would've been a tie with Maggie if she wasn't already taken and had a horrible taste for clothes and make-up)
ALTTP/LA Link - .....I have no opinion about this one.
