oh, now to scare everyone. No, not "AHHH! hide!" scare. Just slightly un-nerved scared.

My dreams are INSANE.

For example... I crash in a spaceship next to a castle near some woods. on a lone tree, something humanoid is being hung by the neck, under a white sheet. Suddenly it bursts into flames and the KKK-like cultists around it run into a path in the woods. Me, and a friend who's with me follow, into their "church" all the furniture is covered with a white sheet. We attend their ceremony of hate for a while then run to the other door to the right of the altar, and I shout "What was under that sheet?!", then wake up, for some reason terrified.

JDog

man, I knew you were odd, but thats just a creapy dream... ;D

Evilbob

I know. I'm just waiting for a dream involving tentacles... *curls up in bed and purrs at the thought*

JDog

and I thought i had odd dreams. ::)

Zelda Veteran

I'll bet you do!
My dreams aren't so much weird, as they are creepy :-[

My real Poison team in BW2. They all have perfect natures and EV's. I went the extra distance and bred the right IV's into them. Come at me bro.

MagmarFire

Actually, it's quite remarkable how often those two traits coincide. You know, a weird dream can be simultaneously creepy. :-[

my dreams are just plain scary.

I had a dream involving tentacles... actually, more like a cat-sized spider that looked like a cat with a tail and pattern and all... It freaked me out, and we kept it as a pet...

I had another dream... This one about Nuclear war and eating lots of chinese food... This is how it is, at one part of the dream, I'm in an asia country, a big complex, eating with the leader of the country... He's about to start war on everything... We go through this banquet with lots of asian food but he notices that I don't speak his language, his other people try to speak with me, but none of them really can... When I do at last speak, he tries to get rid of me, but get saved by another group and this little base of his... a lot of air fighters come out and he starts a nuclear bomb off somewhere. Meanwhile, I get rushed off to an ambulance, rescued by my allies... But is it too late?

Another part of the dream also featured chinese food, and a LOT of it (even more)... I'm with one of my asian friends and we're eating at an asian restaraunt, thing is I have to get the food, move it, eat it just the right way... anyway, after eating a lot of this food, an air raid or something starts and the whole thing is like there was going to be another nuclear bomb... That's as much as I can describe really... There are other details,  but it's hard to get those  thoughts down in an organized manner.

What's weird is that last night, before I went to bed, I was talking to my friend about chinese food and the glories of General Tso and Indian/spicy food.

I have lots of video game dreams... my favorite one so far was when I was Link, except that I had a chain sickle instead of the Master Sword and I was doing the flash step.

I refuse to let this topic die; it has such great possibilities.

I don't know, my dreams over the past week or so have been unpleasant, but I'm not quite sure why. /: I've been in this detached, almost depressed mood as of late, and my dreams have been... unusual, to say the least.

Since I have issues getting to sleep when it's silent (I talk to myself, or hear voices... I'm not sure which. I feel like I'm talking, but no noise comes out, yet I understand what I'm saying.) I listen to music when I sleep.

Lately, I've been having to blast it louder to help drown out my own thoughts. (I think too much)

The other night I had a dream. In it, a monster of faceless identity pinned me to the ground. I'm not quite sure what it looked like; it was a big blur, almost shadow-like.

It smiled at me with broken jaws and whispered to me:

"you are you are my sunshine
my only sunshine
you make me happy
(oh so happy)

when skies are grey
and grey and grey"

and I replied with:

"oh please
don't look at me with mother's eyes.
and that killer smile... mother wouldn't be happy
with your eyes
don't you know it kills me so?"

We looked at each other for a moment

and then it raised those large claws. before it hit, my head turned to the side... and then I saw the numbers "50:9" etched in bright, burning red on the shadow/wall next to me.

I woke up... and looked at my alarm clock. it was 6:02. If you flip 6:02 upside down... it reads "50:9."

No clue if 50:9 represents anything. /: 6 + 2 = 8, though, which is an age in which something really bad happened involving my parents and grey skies. I'm probably just overthinking things, though.

Twilight Wolf

I don't remember much, but for the past three nights, I've dreamt about either playing or reading about a Sega Dreamcast. I do remember that the night before last, I dreamt I was watching Full Metal Alchemist on TV.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

MatthewThief

maybe its from something you read in a manga maybe :?

MagmarFire

I have read somewhere that when an image gets through the lenses in the eyes and onto the retinas, the image is actually upside down compared to the preimage. However, your brain reflects it vertically for you; otherwise, everything you see would looked like it was upside down. You say you were looking to your side before you woke up? Maybe your eyes were picking up the light from the preimage and got an image into your eyes that your brain never flipped over because you were asleep and the sight-correction part of your brain was inactive due to sleep...?

Maybe I'm being too scientific... Your eyes were probably still closed, weren't they? ???

hmm, I had another crazy dream... now if I could remember it...
