I heard that the new Wii Zelda is supposed to be in WW style, but... I don't know, it's probably still in development stages.
I was hoping for it to be a realistic game... But I'm getting it either way.

Like I said, it's probably still in development stages right now.

I think they need to release a new 2-D game, actually.

... Does anyone else think it's weird how Zelda games seem to be coming out a bit more often than usual? I mean, there's only a year between Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass.
Just rumors.

Because TP was delayed for so long.

Now that they can have portable 3Ds thats not gonna happen. Because the 3Ds always do so much better. Which people don't seem to realize is the last quality(for Zelda anyway) 2D game were the Oracles. And they weren't as good as LttP or LA.
QuoteTo Commodore, How does it have to do with WW? The graphics are totally, totally different.

And the reason why I say TP belongs in the Ocarina catagory is because the adult Links look so much alike and the graphics are a little different that OoT, but not that much.

WW was cell-shaded and PH looks kind of like that too, TP, OoT, and MM used 3-D, and the Oracle, NES, Links, and Four Sword catagory had sprites.
You weren't going by anything apparently, because LA had closer graphics to the Oracles. Other than TP you were going by plot.

(Mumbles) Evil Wii. 8) Well, I guess if it means getting the new game, and it probably will be a while. I might get it. Might.

Yeah, we do. It's already come out in Japan, you know.

Spoilers: It's some plant monster thing that steals life force...like a metroid or something. It's crazy, I know.
right but half the games they release in Japan barely even get released here

DW

All the Zelda ones get released here though.

Apparently you never played MC.
Otherewise your right. If you look at the sales charts, its the 3D games that hold the bulk of the sales. Plus, now that they can make portable 3Ds, a 2D would be an enormous step backward.

MagmarFire

In all fairness, and out of curiosity, don't the 3-D versions have more sales because they're more constantly advertised? I mean, I don't ever remember seeing a TV advertisement for TMC or FSA...

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

Hi no Seijin

I saw an advertisement for ALttP/FS around the time it came out.  That was just once.  Around the time PH came out, I saw the commercial for it like two, three, or four times.  So I do believe it's a plausible theory, MagmarFire.

Then again, I have never seen TP advertised, so it's a shaky theory.  Perhaps it just depends on what channel you watch/magazine you read.

I have only seen TP on those Wii commercials. But not lately, though...

I see PH commercials a lot... I think it's about style, too. A lot of people say they don't want to play WW or PH due to style, you know. /:

I dunno, I still want a 2-D game.
