I attend a Secondary Grammar School, I think that is pretty much the equivalent of High School in America.
I'm in Year 11, I don't know what that is in American terms.
Anyway my classes are:
-English Literature
-English Language
-Maths
-Biology
-Chemistry
-Physics
-Art
-Geography
-Religious Studies
-Games/PE
-ICT
-French

what is your schedule like?  when do you have time for all of that?   :o :-X

We run on a two week system, it is a bit complicated but easy to get used to.
Basically we have 5 lessons a day, each lasts 5 hours. On week 1 we'll have a different set of lessons each day e.g. Monday we will have French, Geography, Maths, English, Biology, then Tuesday will be Art, English, RS, ICT, Games/PE. Then it'll be a similar thing on Week 2 only in a different order. Then we go back to Week 1 again, then Week 2, then Week 1 etc. We have to carry timetables with us so we know what lessons we have though.
I don't think I've explained it very well but basically we don't have the same lessons everyday ^^

I think I understand. That is crazy complicated.  and I thought my abc schedule was difficult. wow.
(abc schedule is monday and wednesday = 4 classes, tuesday and thursday = 4 different classes, friday = all 8 classes in half the time. )

Takun

Wow, am I the only freshman?
Classes:
Latin I
Algebra I
Integrated Science
English Honors
Draw II
NJROTC

Its all easy stuff, except for Algebra...how I loath such a class. Our lain teacher had a nervous breakdown and quit on friday though, so im curious as to how thats going to go.

Twilight Wolf

I should technically be a freshman, actually, but I skipped a year a while back.

Also, Algebra gets easier with experience, trust me. Having a good teacher really helps, too, though; I know that first-hand. When I was in public school, I had a decent Algebra teacher, but after I got pulled out, I had to teach myself out of a book for a while... that sucked, and I did terribly. Then I went to an online course; it also sucked and I still did terribly. I had to re-take it. But then I got a good DVD course and the teacher makes everything easy to grasp, and I've been understanding everything and doing a lot better ever since.
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Takun

Im actually requesting to be switched to a different algebra class beause of the teacher. She never teaches, she just gives us notes to write, and then a worksheet partaining to the notes. So I suppose if you can grasp it by just reading the notes then its an easy class, but Im not that bright. I usually need some actual talking between teacher and student.
~Sincerely,
               Management

Pale Dim

Really? I was switched out of Geometry because we were not allowed to take retests, under any circumstance. And I can't live without retests.

Takun

Haha, you would hate our school then. They dont do retests.

Pale Dim

I think I'll see if I can graduate here first.

whoops. I put the wrong class. I had AP language and composition last year.  I hated it with the fire of a thousand suns.
now the class that I am actually taking, AP LITERATURE and composition is absolutely amazing. I love it.
