... Well that was interesting. We spent around 2 hours on TF2, and played for anout fifteen minutes.   :P

Worth it, though.  :D

Keaton

TF2 is amazing.  I don't play it nearly as often as I used to because of my terrible computer, but if I'm ever on go ahead and shoot me a message or something.

Steam name:  Tacheonblack

Twilight Wolf

So that's why you never play.

Or why you're never on Steam for more than ten seconds at a time.

ಠ_ಠ
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Pale Dim

Dude, is there anyone here who doesn't have Steam?

MagmarFire

I have it on my old computer. Too lazy to redownload at the moment, though.

Advanceshipping and Rion had better be Chuck Norris approved.

cacturnerules

So...

I end up playing this game every day after school, and as much as I can on the weekends. My brother and I have amassed 440 hours so far. @_@

But you guys are almost never on, or you're playing something else. =3=

Pale Dim

Hey, that kinda sounds like here!

I'd like to be on, however there is the little problem called a dead sound card. >:(

Damn Inspiron 5150...

You poor thing~ How do you still wake up in the morning? ;_;

OH! That reminds me!

I don't have the right video card for all these games. TF2 isn't that much of a problem, but things like Poker Night at the Inventory lag like CRAZY. I can't even play Monday Night Combat. XP

Is there any way I could, like, get a new card, or beat up my computer until it succumbs to my demands?

Pale Dim

If it isn't a Laptop, you may be able to upgrade it.

Great! :D

Do you know how? >.>

Pale Dim

That I do not. Mags might. He's the computer nerd.

Since I don't know what your computer is like I can't really make any recommendations, but it's generally as easy as "unscrew and pull out old card/plug in and screw in new card." However, like I said, I know nothing about your computer, so I can't judge what would be good for your current processor/RAM/power supply setup.

What kind of computer is it? Make/Model number?
What, you expect me to say something witty?

cacturnerules

Um... I'm dreadfully sorry, but I know almost nothing about computers. >_> Let's see if I can find what you're asking for~

HP Pavilion 6614f
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit
Intel Premium Processor 5500
750 GB Hard Drive
Intel GMA X4500

Is this what you need? :3

how much RAM do you have?  It's probably listed as Virtual Memory.  Also, list the specs on your video card.

Assuming you have DirectX, press Windows Key + R to bring up the run menu, and type in dxdiag

that should bring up the DirectX diagnostics screen, which will hopefully give more info on your computer.

cacturnerules

Um, let's see...

5120MB RAM. Where do I find the specs for the video card? My best guess is display, so here it is~

Name: Intel(R) G45/G43 Express Chipset
Chip type: Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
DAC Type: Internal
Approx Total Memory: 1695 MB
Current Display Mode: 1366 x 768 (32 bit)

That's weird... On the computer itself, it says 64 bit...
