Twilight Wolf

I'm gonna both make TDC my blog and hijack your thread.

Since the screw holding the latch on my balisong in place came out, I decided I'd just try it as a latchless flipper. MUCH easier, but also more dangerous as it's much harder to tell if I'm holding the right handle or not. Sliced my finger. ;_;
What, you expect me to say something witty?

Hi no Seijin

Everything is legal where he lives.  Except for jaywalking; that's still illegal.

Actually, Chuck, they're about as legal as you can get here in Nevada. I could technically carry it as just a regular pocketknife (which is what they are, in fact), but the problem is if any old police officer noticed I was carrying one he probably wouldn't know they're NOT illegal. So my collection doesn't leave home.

Even if they weren't legal I'd have them anyways. As long as they stayed at home I doubt anyone would care.

Pale Dim

Now why are those illegal in some states in the first place?

They're scary.

Twilight Wolf

Yeah, that's basically it. ._.

Same with switchblades.

I hate laws that assume that because you own something you're not possibly going to use it for anything except hurting people. But the ironic part is that the vast majority of, say, stabbing deaths, occur with household objects like kitchen knives or screwdrivers, not balisongs or switchblades.

Exactly. In other words: Guns don't kill people. People kill people.

...I guess I can't argue with that logic.

Hi no Seijin

You certainly can't logic with that argue.

Of course. What do you think this is, a universe where we can do whatever we want? *divides by zero while nonchalantly declaring that he's lying*

Take the integral of zero and then we'll talk. Yeah. I said it.
