Dogura and Yoko, in the middle of the chronic journey to the mountains, walked across the hot baren Tantari desert. The sun shined harsh, and the humidity didnt help the slightest bit. "We're almost to the path that leads into the mountains. As the elevation increases, the temperature will drop. We'll be cooler there for sure. Just a little bit farther. I would say about a 20 minute walk." What Dogura wasnt expecting was an ambush that would push it up another hour. The ground began to slightly move beneath them as the sands shifted. Green figures appeared to rise out of the sand. The Vagabond instantly knew what was headed their way.

"Yoko! Leevers! They're fast, watch out!!" Dogura cried out, as one of the green beasts shot at him. Fourtunately, they couldnt turn when at a high speed like that, and it always proved to be their downfall. Rolling out of the way, Dogura drew his sword, and held it out, letting the Leever run straight into the blade. It let out a screech, and fell into the sand. Dogura could only hope that Yoko was skilled enough to dodge the Leever in time. At that speed, a solid hit could mean trouble, especially with the spike like objects protuding from their head.

“First Octoroks, now Leevers?!?” muttered Yoko, he leaps back to dodge a Leever as the cactus-like monster tries to ram its sharp spike-filled body into Yoko. What he didn’t notice was another Leever rising slowly up from the hot, dry sand and starts going at full speed towards Yoko. “Woah!” He rolled quickly to the side, but not fast enough for it slashed his left arm; one of its razor-edged spikes torn his black, worn-out sleeve, revealing an arm with a blood-red gash on the side of it, along with many red markings on the skin just like the ones on his wolf form. “This is getting annoying, that Leever just torn my only robe!” Yoko throws off his cloak to the side, far away from the battle ground. On both sides of his belt, two daggers with howling wolves carved onto each sheath showed, one of the handle is ruby-red, while the other is sapphire-blue. He grabs those beautiful yet deadly daggers with his glove-covered hands and holds them crossed in front of his face. “You monsters shall feel eternal pain with my Akakiba and Aoitsume!!” The Sheikah dives for the nearest monster he sees, his eyes glowing brightly behind his mask, and before the Leever can react, it was split in half by Akakiba and bust into glowing red flames by the magical powers of the beautiful red dagger. He then attackes three more of those green monsters with deadly accuracy and with speed faster than eyes could see. The three monsters are all dead in a blink of an eye. “ The rest are all yours, Dogura!”

Dogura nodded, and noticed three Leevers rising up from the sand. They were completely motionless until they had completely risen, and Dogura was ready to grab those seconds. Dashing in a straight line, as the Leevers often do, he cut right through the three of them. The sweat was building up, and he was extremely hot out. He wiped the sweat off of his forehead, as the Leevers screeched and died. Sheathing his sword, the samurai was about to motion for Yoko to continue, when the ground began to tremble. Suddenly, a purple Leever, a couple sizes bigger than the last. It didnt look like it wanted to chat...

I have never seen a Leever this large before! Yoko lowers his daggers to his sides slowly and suddenly the deadly daggers are covered in blue and red flames, the flames burn off the disgusting blood of the previous Leevers that died by these blades. “How many of those monsters are there?” Yoko sighs behind his old, worn out mask and charges at the purple beast, his blood from his wound dripping to the hot, sandy ground as he charges. As he charges at the monster, his hood fell even farther than before, showing his dark blue hair in a pony-tail flying in the wind. The Leever shrieks at the warriors, its hideous scream so sharp it could make glass window break as it charges towards them…

Dogura knew that the Leever would pack too much force for the masked man to handle alone. Taking off at break-neck speed, the samurai hoped to hit the monster at the same time Yoko would. Calculating all of this mentally, he he drew his wolfhead dagger, and took one final step before he shot off the ground straight for the monster, twirling in the air making a sort of ripping cyclone. Hitting the beast at the same time Yoko did, the blades pierced the monster's rough skin, and pushed it back. it screeched so loud, Dogura's Hylian ears could not take the force, and he immediately let go of his dagger to cover one of his ears. After the monster dissolved into a disgusting looking liquid, Dogura picked up his dagger, and brushed the sand off of it, hearing a constant ringing in his right ear. Not even comending Yoko, he nodded, and continued onward towards the mountain...
