I've read through some old "I'm New!!" posts and am still stumped. This is the first RPG I've been in, so please excuse my ignorance. First of all, I can't post links. I never learned how to and would appreciate someone explaining it to me. I got my character set up, but how do I buy equipment? What are some good L1 missions or activities? I would EXTREMELY appreciate it if my clouded mind were to be cleared up. Thank you for taking time off to read this.

Hello there Aureliano! Welcome to the game, hope you enjoy your time here, and all that other pizazz that you'll be hearing endlessly for the next few days. Let's see what we can do about those questions . . .

Alright, first things first is the links. I'm assuming you're wanting to post links to place inside of HA2, which requires a special code: Just replace that first set of all-caps words with the number of the topic you're trying to link to. This number can be found pretty easily by just running your mouse over the topic's name. Replace the second set of all-caps words with the words that you want to actually be visible to other people. So, for example, is what gives me my own signature's link back to my profile.

Buying equipment is pretty simple. There are various shops set up all over Hyrule, mostly in the towns that we've got available to us right now. You'll probably be wanting to get a weapon first and foremost; those can be purchased in Quartermaster Hithos' topic in the North Castle Courtyard. Just make sure you get the correct weapon for your chosen Main Class. He also sells shields to Grunts and Vagabonds, and different types of armor can be purchased in a different shop somewhere else (can't spoil everything for you ). Now, you're going to need rupees to pay for these items, so I'll go ahead and let you know that you gain one rupee every time you post.

Good missions or activities . . . well, in various topics all over Hyrule you can complete quests. These simply involve you traveling around the world and finding hidden objects, then returning to the person who gave you the quest and posting saying that you've got their item. RG will take the item away and reward you with 1 TP, which is what you need to purchase abilities from the Rules Set.

Well, a popular first topic for newcomers is simply RP their arrival in North Castle for the first time. Any time you see a topic posted by The Narrator or Royal Guard with [NPC] in its title, there also a good bet that you can just walk into the topic and reply with something appropriate. Or you can join up with some of the topics that other members have started up.

There's a bunch of stuff that your character can do here in HA2. Just start looking through some of the topics, and I'm sure you can find something.
