The sun is shinning bright now, a little later after noon, and it is at this hour that a serpent of beasts, carts and people appears over a not so high hill. As the caravan passes, it is noticeable that a lot it's going on right now.

And right about the very end of the group, a cart strugles to keep up, it is the one belonging to Cork, who remains silent as he forces Cheese and company to catch up to the rest of the caravan.

Kalex lets out a big, prolonged yawn, as he feels the breeze in his face. He tilts his head to where Cork sits, feeling guilty of being left behind.
"Hey, I'm sorry we -"
A short growl was all his answer.

"He'll be fine" he said in low voice to the others.

And he was right, it didn't took long before they met with other wagon, this one being pulled by freibergers, and Cork's mood improved a lot, revealed by the fact that he started talking to the driver of the other cart. The aspect of the other merchant was very strange, he had aurburn hair and green eyes with big black circles around them, his whole body looked out of weak and badly taken care of, he looked young, but the stress of work made him look at least 20 years older of what he probably was, his face had a weird smile that made him look deceitfully relaxed, but also like he would have a nervous break down at any moment.
Cork greeted him like an old friend "Hey Sourven, how are business going lately"
"H-hey Cork" Sourven's movements gave the impression that some invisible force was restraining him. "I'm f-fine"
"Good, that's good to hear" then he turned to Kalex and company and he whispered "Poor guy, some bandits got him a two years ago, he's never been the same since" he shooked slightly, perhaps remembering the former Sourven.
"By d' way, here's l'l souvenir for ya!" he grabbed a bunch of straw hats and threw one to each of the adventurers. Kalex tried his on and smiled.

OOC: Sorry for delaying this so long
BTW, Cork is an anagram of rock, as Sourven is an angram of nervous, just though it would be fun to share. And freiberger is a breed of horse.

Kasei had stood a little behind the group, just in case of an attack by theives. After all, the crossroads of Hyrule aren't always safe. Even some of the strongest adventurers can be defeated by an ambush, after all. Then the straw hat came in his direction. It fell to the ground in front of Kasei, where he picked it up and put it on his head, shading him from the sunlight. The straw had looked akward combined with the rest of Kasei's bright red and gold clothes, and even stranger covering his hair, although the ponytail still showed. The rebel flame payed no attention to this, and approached closer to the group so as to get into the shade of the wagon. His mind wondering what the real porpose of this trip could be.

Blank awoke with a start as the caravans came to the crossroads. He had drifted off during the short trip, and for the duration of the voyage he had slept quite soundly. If the merchants' horse drawn vehicles had hit any rocks or divots along the way, Blank had certainly not felt them. Had he been laying in a burning building while in such a deep sleep, he would surely have perished without so much as a hint of wakefulness. He sat now, his legs outstretched and his back resting against the inner wall of the cart. His arms hung lazily by his side, and his head bobbed lazily on a downward angle toward his chest. As the caravaneers began to speak amongst themselves, the nomad shook his head in fatigue and pushed out a great yawn.

Pushing himself up off the cart floor by sliding his back against the wall and using his hands to heave himself upright, the Hylian stumbled to his feet and brushed all manner of the merchants' odds and ends from his pants. Groggily, Blank scoped out Alex and smiled as his eyes focused on the young Zora. He was about to holler out a cheerful “Good morning!” when two things ceased the idea. One, it wasn't morning, and two, Alex was already focused on the strange, austere man, who seemed to be leading the other caravan. Shrugging, Blank stretched and took a closer look at the man in question. Sourven was his name, it seemed. To Blank, the caravaneer was an odd-looking fellow best described by the term 'bizarre.' However, with the understanding that bandits had attacked the man two years prior, the red-haired tag-along decided against wondering about appearance any longer. After all, he was traveling with a fish humanoid!

Before he could even fully achieve awakening, he found a great straw hat thrust into his possession. His eyes widened as he gazed at the home-made headgear, and he wondered if there was some sort of purpose to having one. Discarding the item as souvenir only, he nodded his thanks and held it loosely at his side, having nowhere better to put it for the time being. Blank returned Alex's smile, laughing and shaking his head. “Looks nice on you, Alex. Not really my thing, though,” he said with a hearty, tired chuckle.

“Alex, when we get to Ruto, I'm going to have a few things to ask you. Obviously there's more to this voyage than just training. I've known you for a while, at least long enough that I can tell you're hiding something.” Blank folded his arms and looked towards the northern frontier, the breeze rippling his jerkin as it whipped by. “Don't be a stranger. I'm your friend, I'll be willing to hel--” He stopped himself and turned back to everyone else. “Hey! Let's get going again!” he called to the caravan heads, eager to continue the ride to Ruto.

OOC: I hope it's okay to join in... If not, tell me and I can delete my post.
IC: Hernandi had been jogging through the great crossroads as part of his plan to become better adapted to living out of water. As he was about to stop and take a rest, he saw a large caravan heading down the road. Upon closer inspection, saw several famous adventurers among the animals, including Blank Fireside, Kasei the rebel flame, Lady Rose, Sabertache, along with a zora he had never seen before. Hernandi ran up to the carvan and said "What brings you to these parts?" wondering why so many famous people were in a non-descript carvan.
