							The streets were still muddy with recent rain, thick and black with the pollution of the city. Many travelers grimaced as they tried to avoid the disgusting goop in the road, and occasionally let out a cry of dismay as their foot became victim to such an annoyance.
"Sir? Sir! Ma'am!"

A small Deku, oddly dressed in a robe of neon green and donning a wig of flashy red, chased after the already annoyed travelers, calling out titles in a squeaky voice. He had slung unto his back a bag of what appeared to be papers.

As you approach him, the Deku beams a cheery smile.

"Ah, please take a moment to take this and read it."

You take the plain, gray envelope and upon breaking the waxy seal, you see a piece of parchment, scented with some unknown herbs (but still pleasant to the nose). The scribbling on the parchment is somewhat messy, as if the writer had written it with much reluctance.

~~~****~~~~~****~~~~~
 Dear Fellow Adventurer,
You have been most likely invited to this special event without my knowing who exactly you are. However, it had not been my idea in the first case, and I suppose I shouldn't really care. Whatever the case, you have been invited to a party that will be hosted by Arrika, Zapheta (Zeze) and myself. (Although I am not even sure if I will be present.) The purpose of this party is rather pointless to me; it is a "Welcome back to Hyrule Arrika and Sakiko and any others who have come back" Party. It is also to liven up the life at Hyrule, as it seems many adventurers are preoccupied with the gravity of cleaning up South Hyrule. This event shall be held at Ruto Town. As this event is probably not even properly planned, the time of the party is still unknown. In order to prepare for this party and to make matters a little simpler for Arrika and that fool named Zeze, please RSVP by speaking to the Deku. He is not a bright lad, so you may have to take some troubles.
P.S. I wouldn't really recommend that you come.
P.P.S. But you didn't hear that from me.
							Eberron was slightly stunned by the letter suddenly thrust into his hands. Carefully breaking the seal and reading the contents, the Goron stood for a long while in his attempts to decipher it's contents. Times like this he really wished his father had been a better teacher... Either his method had been awful, or he hadn't been quite the skilled scribe and renowned linguist he had occasionally claimed. Finally getting the gist of it, Eberron stopped scratching his head and let out a sigh of realisation. Handing the letter back to the deku, he shifted the large wooden hat on his hat to the side and glanced down at the new acquaintance. He didn't look particularly dark to Eberron, but perhaps the writer of the letter had meant his wooden appearance.
"You must be very happy. To be made out of something so special."
Eberron grinned, his smile stretching across his face.
"Until very recently the only wood I ever saw was my fathers hat... But now it seems to be everywhere. I still think it's special, don't you?"
Eberron tilted his head and as a result almost caused himself to topple over, the weight of the heavy wooden hat carrying him further. Straightening himself up, the enormous bag on his back rattled slightly, the contents rolling over each other. Pulling himself back up Eberron continued.
"So... the letter is very nice. It's very nice to get an invite and I'll come when I hear more... but... What's a party?"
							Was he supposed to talk to him?
The Deku hesitated, fixing up his wig with a confused look on his face. He couldn't recall if the pale mage girl had told him anything about giving information verbally... after all, even if he had, he wouldn't have remembered it.
He stood with a dazed look on his face as the Goron seemed to be talking almost to himself. As his attention span was shorter than average, he couldn't follow what this traveler was saying without getting lost. The only thing that he truly comprehended was,
"What's a party?"
The Deku tilted his head - alas, his bald head caused the wig to slip entirely and he stooped down to catch it with alacrity.
"Sir, I wish I could tell you but I haven't been to one so I can't. But please, Sir, don't let that discourage you."
With that, he stumbled away from Eberron and continued his yelling,
"Invitations! Sir! Sir! Ma'am!"
							OOC: Hello there, Sakiko.
IC: Kasei stepped in a puddle as he wandered down the streets of North Castle, looking for a good bar to get a drink from. Today, the Rebel Flame carried no weapons on him for some reason. Perhaps he was very confident of himself? Or perhaps he hoped that he would not get into a fight.
Either way, he eventually he came to a bar. However, to his dismay, it was boarded up, locked tight. The windows had accumulated dust, nothing could be seen inside, save the " CLOSED" sign stuck right to the window. Now in despair, the Sheikahn continued his search down the road.
In the middle of his search for ale, Kasei felt a little bump against his leg, and looked down to see a Deku holding a small envelope. "Why hello there." Kasei says, and bends down to aid the little guy. Kasei rarely saw Deku, probably because he wasn't looking at the ground often. To him, bumping into one was just as rare. "Where are you going wood spirit?" He asked, when the Deku was finally up again.
							OoC: I missed yuuu.
IC: Like a hunter, the thief relentlessly stalked her quarry...
A middle aged woman, dressed in light blue silks and new kid skin gloves, with shiny boots on her feet that clacked on the cobblestones, one hand clamped on a small child's and the other dragging along a lacy parasol. Pretty in an overdone way, most likely shallow and materialistic, and very distracted. Perfect.
Arrika surged forward in the crowd, dodging lesser targets. She wanted the big prize today. After what seemed like an eternity, Arrika's thin, deft fingers enclosed around the elusive purse. Patience had its rewards-
"Sir? Sir! Ma'am!"
An irritated look spread across her face, but she fought it down. Did her new short haircut really make her look that much like a boy?
"What is it?" she growled at the Deku who had just interrupted her pickpocketing. The woman, still oblivious, was lost in the hordes of people, carried away like a finely wrapped present in a river.
She snatched the plain gray envelope from the tiny messenger. She sighed, glancing back at where the woman had been before she'd unwittingly escaped from her. She turned her attention back to the letter, and scanning it, nearly jumped when she spotted her name. And Zeze's.
 'make matters a little simpler for Arrika'... Wait... the only person who would speak so condescendingly without any hint of remorse was...
Arrika's dark eyes scrutinized the Deku. Who was he? He didn't look special, or anyone that she recognized.
"Is this from... Sakiko?"
							OOC: ^^ Its good to be back... now I know why I had been so obsessed with HA2 like a year ago....hahaha
IC:
The Deku had a look of pure confusion painted all over his face. He felt intimidated by these tall beings who were asking him weird questions.  Why couldn't they just take the envelopes and go? Acting on impulse, he ripped off his wig and shoved it into Kasei's hands, hoping that he'd be satisfied.
"Party, Sir. Wear this wig?"
He was about to run away when he saw a very....dark looking girl..or a boy.. staring down at him as if she could see through his very soul. He trembled.
"Sakiko? No, ma'am...sir...it...?"
He whispered the last two titles, wondering what to call this person.
"I don't know who this Sakiko is. I only know that a pale looking girl handed me this bag and told me she'd give me rupees."
The Deku scratched his bald head and added cheerily,
"Please come!"
							Kasei was quite perturbed when the wig was suddenly forced into his hands. "Party?" He repeated. "No...no thank you." He said, returning the wig and standing up again. "Parties...really aren't my thing." He continued, and noticed Arrika. "Hello, and have a nice day." He said before turning and disappearing into the crowd.
A party, eh? Perhaps i'll stop by . . . He thinks as he walks up the road.
OOC: BAH bad post but I think i'm in more of a drawing mood than a writing mood. Sorry.
							"Party?"
A flash runs through the crowd, making its way to the Deku at lightning speed. Within moments, the invitation is ripped open, allowing the bearer to read through the contents. After a few seconds, wide eyes and a grin large enough to cover its owners lower face can be found on the newcomer's face.
"Oh, this is so exciting!" Shada's voice carries through the area, the joy and excitement in her tone making the words into an enthusiastic announcement for all those nearby. Looking up, the female Sheikah manages to spot Arrika, and swiftly runs up to the girl. "Arrika! It's so good to see you again!" she calls. "What's the party going to be like? Should I get a new dress? Should I do my hair like I did last time, or will my normal braid be good enough?"
She continues to bombard the thief with questions, completely oblivious to the fact that, apparently, Arrika only learned of this party a few moments ago herself.
OOC: My, it's certainly been a while since I've RPed as Shada. 8D
							Ooc:  The topic is at Ruto Town! ^^ Please go and post~
IC:
"AUUUGGGHHHH!!!!!!"
A loud cry rings through the streets, and a few pedestrians turn around to look, a confused and frightened look painted on their faces. A redhaired girl zoomed through the puddles of mud, almost a blur.
Zeze panted rapidly, clutching unto her stomach. She whipped the bag from the Deku and yelled,
"I've been hiding behind that tree yonder, and you're the stupid thing alive!"
The Deku's eyes teared up immediately, his lips trembling. With a loud sob, he dramatically ran away as fast as his little legs could carry him. The Bard yelled at the retreating creature,
"And don't even  think about comin' back for that bag of rupees!"
Just as she was finshing her angry shout, she saw Shada bombarding Arrika with questions. She beamed at the prospect of this cheery guest coming to her party.
"Well, madam, I believe I have seen you before. Kasei's party, was it? An honor to have such a beautiful lady as yourself comin' to our humble gathering. The dress code is forma, but it's only a suggestion...l understand if you want to show up in regular...clothes. See you at Ruto, m'dear!"
