Glad to see you could make it. he points to an odd looking tree. This tree is fake Dogura lifts up the little tree with ease, revealking a set of stairs. Let us continue. Dogura leads the way into the darkness, beneath the hot sand. As you walk further, the walls turn to stone, and have lit torches on the walls to brighten the room. Gorons come into view. They are sweaty, and dirty. They turn to see you, and give thier goron groan of sorrow. One of the gorons collaps's out of fatige. You here footsteps coming down the corridoor. Quickly! Hide! dogura whispers. you hide behind a rock, and watch one of gannons minions walk into view. YOU! he shouts at the goron. GET UP, NOW!!!! The goron groans, in frustration. He raises his whip, and gives him three lashings. GET UP. you turn to see dogura gritting his teeth. He begins to speak. It would not be wise to rush out and help, But i cannot watch this any longer!! he asks you, this is a group effort! should we stay hidden, or help the poor thing?

I say stay put. We don't know how many of these guys are down here. Just wait until he leaves and we'll start.

The Goron, being completely drained of energy, looks as if he were ready to pass out, and in the worst case, die. Blank never really cared about anyone before, but watching the helpless Goron struggling, time felt slow. Every lash of the whip was like a strike to the face, every kick a fierce scald in burning embers. And finally, Blank could take it no more.

Let's kill 'im, Dogura.

Dogura, and Blank dart from thier hiding place! Some of the Gorons turn to look, But they not for one second dare to stop working. as silent as a ghost, yet as swift as a shadow, Dogura brings down his sword on the Minion with the power, of 1000 darknuts. He screams loud enough, that it echos all the way down the coridoor... suddenly, 20 of gannons minions come out of the opening... their eyes fixed on thier fallen comrad... they look up at Dogura and Blank... the tip od Doguras blade shrouded with blood... They draw, thier daggers, axe's and swords, and prepare to do battle... Dogura speaks silently to Blank, not taking his eyes off the minions for even a split second...You do realize, we may not get out of this alive... I thank you for laying your life on the line to fight along side me... here they come... CHARGE!!!![/i]

Blank's eyes dart about the room as he looks for the weakest looking opponent to finish off first. There was still so much he wanted to learn about this land, and he wasn't going to let a few henchmen stop him. Rushing towards the closest minion, an enormous Moblin, he fakes a thrust stab and quickly side-steps around the enemy in a daring spin technique, following up with a bash from his shield and ending the quick maneuvor with a kick to the gut and a powerful downward lunge. The Moblin's red blood splatters and dripps to the floor in a tide of death.

For a split second all is silent, but in no time the battle restarts. The remaining 19 beings circle in around the warriors, and Blank looks to see if Dogura had been successful in slaying a few.

As you turn to look, Dogura had taken one out, and was dealing with another! The monster brings down his mighty axe, Dogura jumps back, and the axe gets stuck in the ground! Dogura leaps up using the axe as a boost for a jump, he throws Three shuriken! One in the monsters eye, one in his throte, and the other one missed... The monster screeches in pain! to stupid to let go of its weapon, Dogura Shoves his sword in the monsters head finishing him off... with 17 left, he turns to see if Blank is holding up alright...

Blank leaps away from a Goriya swinging an axe, but is felled by a stray boomerang as it hits him in the back. Sprawling to the ground, he is suddenly crushed by the monstrous bulk of a fullsized Moblin. The Goriya and a Lizalfos enter the fray, but all three are sent flying in a whirlwind of steel and blood as Blank hacks and mangles his opponents. Bringing the sword up into the Goriya's face, he shows a menacing smile and tears through the beast's face like a mouth crushes fruit. He grabs the carcass and flings it out of the way with ease, leaving him room to crash the splintering wood of his Deku Shield into the Lizalfos's chest.

Slightly taken aback, the reptilian monster stumbles and trips over the beaten Goriya, opening itself to a swift downward stab. It screeches in deadly pain as the blood leaks out of it's scaly hide and into the sandy ground. Before Blank even has the chance to turn, the Moblin bulls into him and flattens him, rearing up for a barbaric spear thrust. Blank rolls to the side and decides to leave style out of the equation, running the Moblin through and scurrying into vertical postition, bloodsoaked sword at the ready.

That's six down, Dogura. Fourteen to go.

Two Moblins are closing in on dogura! He swings his sword with all of hi might when, it raises its shield, and Doguras sword goes flying. One of the moblins grabs Doguras arm, another on his other arm, untill they are holding him in place! Dogura turns to Blank for help, But the same thing has happened to him! realizing that he would probably not make it out of here alive, he begins to pray... All of a sudden a sharp pain rushes through doguras body. He had been stabbed... Choking out blood, he smiles and says... if i die, my eternal debt has been repayed. They are about to stab Blank, when out of nowhere a lone goron lets out a war cry, and rushes one of the moblins on Blanks left side, Stabbing him with his pick axe, The Goron then yells, My Goron brotherrrrrs! Frrrreedom is not freeeee. we no sit back and watch any longerrrrrr. MY GORRRRRON BRRRROTHERRRRRS< CHHAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGE!! The gorons Looked at eachother, grabbed thier pick axe's and rushed into combat! Just as this happenes, 50 or so more minions rush in! But the goron slaves heavily outnumber them! Dogura is free, as well as Blank! They look at eachother, Smile, as they both say in unision, Let's finish this!

Within ten minutes the gang of Moblins, Goriyas and Lizalfos are depleted. Blank sits down at a fine table and picks at the carcass of an eagle that the chieftans had been eating. After a small rest, he grabs a poorly made cloth and cleans his armor and weaponry. As he sits and drinks the enemy's wine, he closes his eyes and speaks softly to Dogura.

What now? There must be legions of these beasts patrolling the desert. I've a mind to leave this cursed wasteland and go back to the Castle Courtyard, but these Gorons aren't safe. These.... strong people deserve better than slavery. But any roads leading southwards towards Death Mountain are closed. Just what are we and this many Gorons going to do?

hmmmm... thats a good question... well, i do have the ability to tap into peoples minds... AHA! i have an idea... it might work, although im not sure i can do this at such a distance... there is a slight chance i could take controll of the king for a moment, and order the soldiers to come and help out... but im not sure if i can contact his mind from so far away... The gorons then walk up to Dogura and Blank. thannnkyouuu forrrrr rescuinggg ussss. weeee have destroooyyyyed alllll offf the minions dowwwwwwwn hereeee. howeverrr, thereee arrre most liiikly morrre of them on the surrrface... We can't just go off fighting legions of monsters, we almost died today. The last thing we need is a bad profile in their Faction. I can think of two solutions. First, we could take them to Ruto Town. The flaw : It may be blocked off. So the best course of action would be to take our friends here to the Mines.

Blank continues eating the Moblin's dinner while he waits for a response from Dogura.

Dogura takes a sip of the drink on the table... If we take them to the mines, it all leads to a dead end right? then what would we do?... And we could have taken the Gorons through the south passage, Mabey the goron on guard will let us through, after all, it is a special case... and ill bet he hates to see his race enslaved... He puts hi feet on the table and leans back in the chair. Man do i have a headache... Dogura then gets a worried look on his face... We do have one last option... i could go primal form, and then nothing would stop me... But you would be endangered as well... When i go primal, i have a hard time keeping my head straight, and my vision is a notch off.... Wev'e got to come up with a decision... sooner or later they will attempt to come down into the chooridoor... He turns to the gorons, Any ideas? any of you? Two goron hands rise above the rest of them... You! he points the one on the left. The goron begins to speak, Weeee could always diiiig a tunnelll out of herrrre. then, weee apearrrrr somwherrre elsse, and catch minions off of guarrrrrd.Weee gorrrons are verrrrry gooood at diiiging. Dogura looks astonished. That is an exelent alternitive! Good work! However if we tunnle into the ocean by accisent, we are in BIG trouble. He then turns to the one on the right. You! speak! The goron says, We gorrons can rrroll at a good speeeed. weeee could toppple them overrrr liike bowling piiinnnssss. Good battle plan! we will resort to that, if worse, comes to worse. Alright Blank we have a few options.
1. Try to tap into the kings mind...(may not be able to do from afar)
2. take them to ruto town (may be blocked off.)
3. take them to the mines. (dead end)
4. Tunnel our way out. (may tunnle into ocean by mistake)
5. Role over them if we decide to fight. (we could get killed)
6. Dogura could go primal form. (You are in danger....)

Lets agree on one of these...

Standing up, Blank thinks over the six options. He paces the room, thinking, occasionally swearing. Finally, he sits in the chair and leans back, relaxes.

Let's take them across the desert to Ruto Town. Here's my reasoning : If we tap into the King's mind, we'll be arrested. Sure, the Gorons will be safe, but we'd have comitted a crime punishable by death. If we go to the mines, we'll be cornered in and murdered. If we tunnel, we'll hit ocean and our route will flood, leaving us to drown. If we fight them straight up, we'll be outnumbered. We're good fighters, but damn..... so are they. Lastly, primal form... maybe later. I don't feel like being mangled by an ally.

All five routes are death traps. I'm no coward, but I prefer life over death if the option is given. At least if we try to go to Ruto Town we'll stay alive. We may even get past the blockade.... eventually. Do you agree?

Very good reasoning blank. Dogura turns to the crowd of gorons announcing the final decision. We will go to Ruto Town! There, we can stay the night, eat, treat our wounds,and come up with our nextplan of action. We may even pick up some soldiers to help us fight if need be. (the gorons cheer out of exitement) However, if the entrance to
the mountains are blocked off by minions, we will have to fight! How many
of you died in the recent battle? The gorons pause, and look around. about thiiirty fiiiive of uuus.hmmm.. the battle was won
without
a lot of deaths either! Are you prepared to leave? we will leave in one hour! This will give Blank and I time to come up with a sencible route. you all get ready.
He turns to blank. How are we going to travel to Ruto high lands?

That's where the real problem hits us. I'm sure if we try to get there by crossing the desert we'll only hit cliffs. But just in case, we should head to these cliffs anyway. We may find a cave leading through, although it will be blocked..... or we could find ourselves an easy route. Granted we might also hit a dead end at the cliffs, but we're in no real rush. Let's cross the desert.

Blank stands up yet again and checks his sword to make sure it's clean and ready should a confrontaion occur along the way. Walking towards the stairs, he glances back at the Gorons.

It's late evening. we have cover of darkness and a light, cool breeze. Let's cross now before it gets hot out and we dehydrate under the sun's glowing aura.

He turns and strides up the stairs into the cold outside. For a desert, it seemed quite chilled. Maybe it was an inner fear of what might happen to them.

I'm going to go on ahead with half of the Gorons. I'll meet you by the cliffs when you get there.

Waving goodbye to his fellow warrior, Blank staggers away into the cool, dark night. The cliffs are unseen, but he knows he should reach them by daybreak.

OOC : I'm going to start a topic over by the cliffs now. It should be easy to find.

Dogura Waits untill the gorons are ready. Are all of you ready to go? They nodded. Now i know its not easy for a goron to be silent, but you must do your best, to be as silent as a poe... He Takes a lanturn from the table, as it is darker then when Blank had left. Lets go! He steps out of the cave, only to be greeted by a cool sea breeze.
