The Keese advance quickly. In a matter of seconds, Blank is smothered in the disgusting rodents, fighting viciously to keep his life.

These Keese stay low to the ground, making it easy fpr Blank to utilize sword combos for quick kills, but such a large amount of the fiends has rarely been seen.

It is at this point that you arrive on the scene. You notice the fierce battle, but do you jump into the fray?

OOC: There are 300 of them, but since they're low fliers they won't take too much effort to kill.

"Ah! Hold on!"
Denning rushes tword Blank and casts a shield over him, he doese not get too close to the keese.

OOC:The shield, insted of normal bubbles, covers Blanks body, but not his blade, this allows for the of the keese, whil protecting Blank, the sheild will not last forever though...I would say 2 minutes with this number.

Blank glances at Denning and nods his approval to the cleric.

Thanks, Denning. This should make this battle easy enough for a child.

His first manoeuver is to swat any Keese flying too close. And of course, the bats don't last too long when being swung at with a sword, even if lightly. In that insatnt, he takes out 20 Keese.

His second move is a strong spin, and as he circulates swiftly, the air is heated by a warming tinge given off by the heat of his blade. This ends the wretched lives of 97 Keese - if they can even be called "lives."

The Shield spell starts to fade, and Blank looks to see if Denning is still there.

"Alright, ill give you another shield, but I am limited on magic! Why are these things attacking you?"

I... may or may not have insulted their mothers using vulgar vocabulary. Crud, I never realized how low on magic you must be. I'll make it up to you, though. A round of beers, my treat, when this is done.

He smashes a group of the bats into a tree with the flat of his blade when they bein to drift lazily. Finally able to see his sword through the diminishing numbers, he is able to begin thrusting and using actual sword techniqes.

In a matter of seconds they are gone. The clearing reeks, and their deep crimson-black blood is spilled on once beautiful scenery. Blank sheathes his sword and grins at Denning.

So how 'bout that drink?

"Hm, sound good. I like the ale at the Ornery Cucco the best, shall we go?"
