Dogura leads the man to a nice neat little house. Upon entering there are samurai swords all along the wall. Dogura turns and smiles. Do you like my collection? Then He digs some Ramen noodles out of the fridge, cooks them and hands a bowl to the man. Do you like my summer home? Now i know it is not of manners to talk with your mouth full, But in this case i will make an exeption.. NOW SPEAK!

You don't get it, do you, fool? I won't eat those. And it's not because I've outgrown the taste fot them. I'm only 45. Can't you tell? I'm DEAD. I had learned of a terrible curse cast by a follower of Ganon. I killed the evil mage, but he cursed me. Terribly. I was on death row by the time we reached Byrna. But then I was murdered! Bandits, thieves, brigands, bastardly Moblins! The curse couldn't grow in a corpse, so it was annhilated. It was almost a blessing that I was killed.

But I awoke nought but a year ago. The disease saw an opportunity to spring forth and destroy once more, and so I tried to redo the deed... I tried to end my life a second time. But I couldn't. You've heard of the Re-Dead, you must have. I am like one of them. The disease is left inside, festering in my body. Don't be alrmed, it has not had time to expand to a stage of contagiousness. You will not be affected. But it is growing fast. I have to be rid of it.

Myst groans and pukes yet again.

Hmmm... I know just the thing. Dogura says, Stay here. I will be right back! And no peeking! This is TOP SECRET! Dogura dissapears from sight, and come back with an empty bottle. He tuns on the stove, and lets it heat up as he gathers different hebs and weeds, spices and chemicals. He mixes them in a certain order, and gently stirs them in a pot. He then dumps the concoction into the bottle, and hands it to myst. Here! drink up! it may not taste the best, but it cures ANYTHING!! You will most likely be brought back to life, but we will have to see someone else about the curse, if it still remains within you. Just try to keep this in your stomach, and off my carpet.

Hmph.... home remedies... I hate to break it to you, kid, but this curse is far more major than light sniffles or a sore throat. No, this kind of sickness requires an exorcism of sorts. Not one of those freaky, spiritual posession ones, hell no. I must seek out a scholar wise enough to destroy the plague inside. At that time I will die, and the rest the bandits intended for me will finally be rewarded to me...

Odd... I hate them for killing me, yet I'll be content when I can finally be returned to the state of nothing. Ah how Hyrule has changed since those days...

Myst dumps dogura's remedy out, sniffing blandly at the liquid as he does so.

Drinking or eating anything now will only feed it, kid. It's best if I just go wothout sustinence. I'm not getting any deader.

hmm. And who is this scholar of which you speak? Mabey i can help you search for him.

No scholar in particular. But I don't think we'll find one around here, or anytime soon. All we can do is wait until word is brought of magical deeds in Hyrule. Until that time, I must hide, out of the sun. It's like a plant... it needs nourishment and energy. If I can berieve it of these luxuries, I stand a chance of keeping it at bay.

Now let me sleep, kid... no, brave warrior. What did you say your name was?

Thank you, Dogura. I shan't sleep. Bad memories of old Tom Beltuke and Gloria Ironfire... never did find out what happened to them. I'm to blame for the loss of their son. Were they alive, they would be very disappointed in me. I only hope those Moblins didn't find him.

Myst hobbles off to the bed and extracts a beaten, tattered book from his pocket. The title reads "Shadowmeld : An Inside Look."

hmmm.... That is an iteresting book you hold in your hands. Perhaps you would share some info with me. And you say the scholar. Who is it you speak of? I may be able to help, as i know a lot of people here. Ask any questions you feel you need to know. Dogura rubs his chin, and looks mist right in the eye.

This book? Oh, it's nothing. It just tells of useful tips, experiences and ideas for use with Shadowmeld, an innate "Sheikah-Only" talent. It's been a while since I've used it. I may as well brush up.

As for the scholar, I don't intend on meeting many. But the cure is foreign to this land. I need a foreigner, no one in particular. I sense there is one about in this land. I will find him or her, Dogura. Make no mistake of that.

Myst yawns and looks at the bed.

His last words are ominous. When the sun hits the home in the morning, the bed is empty.

Dogura walks out into the morning sun, and grabs the paper. He sits down in the rocking chair on his porch with tea boiling on the oven inside. He opens the paper.

Then he sets the paper down to fetch his tea. The paper the tea... All of these things Dogura tried to do to get Myst out of his head. He blows on his tea, and sits in his chair. I just cant seem to get that old coot out of my head! His words... There is somthing about him... Im sure fate will cross our paths again.... Dogura finishes his tea, and heads for the town festival...
