In the dark of night, he returned to the relatively quiet town of Ruto. Hood and cape concealing his features completely, he walked through the doors of the bar for the second time this week. He marched right up to a door in the back. At first the bartender moved to stop him, but quickly recognized that this was the man he'd been told to keep an eye out for. So he simply nodded, and waved for Alpha to continue through.

The Sheikah entered into the back room, face completely emotionless. A Zora sitting on a couch in the back of the rooms quickly stood at the sight of Alpha, and grinned. "So the job has been completed," he said, not even bothering to phrase it as a question. With 'Wraith' being assigned to the job, there was never any question as to whether or not it would be finished quickly and efficiently.

Alpha nodded. "It has, Cezera. Makurb lies dead in her fortress." His right hand emerged from beneath his black cape. "I've come for my payment - the Po Rune."

Cezera softly nodded his head before moving to a bell hanging on the far wall. He gave it a quick tap, and just as quickly a young Hylian woman entered from another room. "I trust you remember my best spy, Misty, yes?"

Alpha glanced at the pretty woman momentarily. Red hair, green eyes, fair skin, tall, skinny...most people would consider her quite beautiful. "I do," Alpha replied, still completely focused on getting his prize.

Cezera just laughed at the sour look that came over Misty's face as she crossed her arms in annoyance. "Well, Misty, seems there's still one man who can't be seduced by your charms." He held out his hand, and the woman dropped something into it. "Misty's been spying on Makurb for almost two years now, and has confirmed your success in your mission."

Misty blew a few strands of hair off her eyes. "As if I even needed to," she added. "Wraith's the best in the business...though I was quite surprised to hear that you had returned to the business," she said, fluttering her eyes seductively.

Alpha's eyes merely narrowed in annoyance, so, with a sigh, Misty stopped. "I haven't returned to the business. This was done simply as payment for the Rune."

Cezera nodded. He walked forward to where Alpha stood, and held out what Misty had dropped into his hand seconds before: the Po Rune. Alpha reflexively took it, looking it over. It had a triangular shape, with one side rounded and the other two jagged...it did not take a second for Alpha to realize that this was not the entire Rune, only part of it. "Two questions," he said, adding an edge to his voice. "Where's the rest of it, and how come Misty had it?"

The Zora took a seat again, dismissing Misty with a wave of his hand. The woman walked back to the room she'd come from, only stopping once to try her hand at flirting again. Seeing a scowl appear on Alpha's face, she shrugged her shoulders and left the room. Cezera spoke. "This is all of the Po Rune I've been able to obtain. I've been searching for it for some time, as it would allow me secret access to other parts of the world. Plenty of opportunities for business still out there in the world, and that Rift would be my own special gate to those places...if I could get the entire Rune. But according to my sources, it was split into three parts some time ago. I haven't located the other two yet.

"As to why Misty had it...well, that Rune was useless to me when I bought it. Have to worry about the present or you'll never get to the future." A sly grin appear on his face. "So I convinced Makurb to buy it off me for 2000 rupees."

"And then had me kill her to get it back."

"Well, not just for that. I was telling you the truth before: she was interferring with my business. I originally was going to offer it to her when I saw that she was moving to overstep her bounds...but then she had some of her people take out a few of my convoys. I acted like I had no knowledge of who had done it, and told her about the Po Rune to 'display my trust' in her. Then you came along, searching for it...it was all so perfectly coincidental. Like that," he snapped his fingers, "a large thorn is out of my side, and a net gain of 1000 rupees in my pocket. Thanks to you, Alpha. And as such, I am in your debt. Take the Rune; perhaps you can find the other parts. Just...know that if you ever need a job, I'm here to offer it to you."

Alpha turned the Rune in his hand a few times, then nodded. "I'll remember that. And I'll pray to the goddesses that I never have to take you up on that offer." He turned and walked back towards the bar, then hesitated. Finally, his head turned back. "Until the next deal, Cezera."

The Zora waited until the Sheikah was gone before responding. "Until the next deal...Wraith."



Alpha emerges from the bar just in time to see a bomb explode within a nearby building. 'What the -' He immediately takes off to the scene, arriving in time to for the third bomb to blow. A man suddenly flies from within the smoking ruins, propelled outward by the force of the explosions. As he rolls all over the ground, Alpha realizes that it is none other than Hiro! "Oh boy, not again!" he mutters to himself as he rushes to the spot where the prince has fallen.

He quickly stomps out the flames that cover Hiro's body. A small grin flashes over his face as he presses his hands to Hiro's chest. "Here we go again, Hiro. Life!" The healing energies flow through the Incineran's body, quickly restoring his health.

Alpha sits back as he waits for his ally to awaken...

With a cough of blood, Hiro is awakened. He sits up. "Dammit, now I know how it feels to be hit my my own element... Thanks, Alpha. Did it again. Although these burns will take a while to heal fully... I wonder how Hiree is doing? And... Wait! What is this? You beat me to it! Hahaha man, Alpha you're good!" Hiro pulls out 2 silver keys. "These were supposed to be my tickets to the Po Rune. So Rezzuna was lying after all... And I got my eyes burned out for nothing..." A groan brings Hiro to the surface of his problems. "Oh, no... These people need to be healed!" He rushes over to the clerk and guests and starts to heal them with his life spell.

OOC: King as long as Remix stays dead. Duh, don't you know your politics? lol

Alpha also goes around, using Life to heal people as he comes to them. As he heals, he talks some more to Hiro. "Well, those keys might just be useful after all. Look at the rune more closely - it's only part of it. One of three parts, according to my sources."

OOC: Whatever. Alpha doesn't care about politics.

So it was just Alpha... Well, whatever, at least I found both of them at the same time. Better than waiting around in the forest.

Blank strides casually towards his allies, as if he's been there the entire time. Retrieving the object, Blank reveals his portion of the Po Rune.

Alpha's sources must be right. I've got a third of what we're looking for. Look's like we only need one more piece.

OOC: Considering the massive amounts of posts I've made, y'all get a good enough laugh out of those. I'm using H I R O's full name today ok?

IC:
"Umm... So I'm in last place here, huh? Well, we have to find Rezzuna's hideout so we can get the last key. So where could a magic bird like to live?" With the deed finished, Hirochi sits down. While looking for a hideout, he wraps his burns. This leaves his arms completely white. "What about you guys? What do you think?"

OOC: TT=pie.

OOC: Indeed it does. I could go for some TT right now... nyway, we can't let this die, can we?

Blank has been pondering Hiro's inquiry for a few minutes, and can think of few places that Rezzuna would find suitable for a headquarters.

The only places I could see a guy like that living at would be New Peaktop or the Underworld. What do you guys think? Should we check the Rito town, or would the Underworld be a better place to start?

"Well seeing as our free way in caved in, we can't really make a trip to the underworld... We can't use the Rift, or we'd need to find another rune (which ain't happening, I'll tell you) so I guess we should try Rito Town." Hiro stands up. "Well, then, let's go! Time to get my revenge on the damn bird!"

OOC: For a min there, I forgot I said TT=Pie, and I thought I should tell the guys in white (who frequently visit me and put me in a cushiony box) about you...

Alpha nods at Hiro's decision. "Alright, let's go then!" The hooded Sheikah grins. 'The sooner we find this last piece, the sooner I can obtain that Thunder Shard...'

OOC: The white coat guys visit you too? Wow, that's another thing we have in common. Of course, they don't put me in some cushiony box...they just ask me for advice on how to deal with people who are acting up.

Blank draws his sword and points to the mountains, then sheathes the weapon and begins to march out of Ruto Town. He turns around, however, to wait for Hiro and Alpha.

Right, then. On to the final segment of the Po Rune. And then, on to Incinera!

OOC: I feel so alone. These white coat guys never visit me...

OOC: Oh so sad. I'll call them up!
IC:
"Yeah let's go. I hate sitting. Now, about Incinera... Maybe this is a bit late, but... Most of my people don't like outsiders. They've been known to kill foreign merchants. But that shouldn't be a problem considering I'm king and all..." Hiro walks beside Blank. "And while we're there we have to pick up a new Shard to capture Carnax in. So let's get that Key!!!" Hiro runs, leaving you in the dust.

OOC: About my last lag in visits, I've been addcted to RuneScape and I forgot to chec up on this...
