The man who was just in the Temple Quater cried out, cursing. "I have failed you master! I tried! Save me!" He heard many feet coming behind him from the Castle. He whaled, "Please!! Don't leave me, master!" It was then that he felt something hit him.

More footsteps come from the opposite direction. Wyndisis, having not made an appearance for quete some time, decides to greet the Exile outside the castle walls.

"One of my many ears heard you. You say there are no goddesses. Why?"

Blank had been walking to the Ornery Cuccoo Tavern when he reconsidered his destination. After taking such an interest in proving the Exile wrong, he feels the need to finish up, as well as to investigate the intents and purposes of the man's arguments. Intoxication could be achieved at any time, whereas a chance like this is rare.

The nomad trails far behind, but as he reaches the same general area as the Exile, he sees another man. There's something about him... his voice... Blank feels as though this man has appeared before, but is unsure where. Rather than burst out into sight, the Hylian stands behind a tree and watches the two men converse.

Apparently, what hit him was a rock by his foot. He fell, and it was then that Wyndisis came. He scrambled on the ground, not seeing who was there yet, and cried, "Please sir! I won't attempt to agrue ever again! Please!" I was then that he saw that it was not Blank who had questioned him. "I cannot say. I was told not to say any more." He saw then that Wyndisis was armed, so he reconsidered. "He said that I had to try to ruin the Hyrulean religion, to make them all lose faith, and quarrel amoung each other. I didbn't ant to cause any harm - I mean - not much harm. But please, sir, don't hurt me. He made me! It was the only way! He would have
killed me!" Tears were thriving from his eyes.

"Relax, good fellow. Those words came from the heart, did they not?" asks the Zora. "What kind of a kafoote would tell you to say something in which you don't believe anyway?"

The man shakes as though a dagger was thrown into his heart. He shivers in great fear. "....... The master. The next in command.... No, he will kill them if I tell. I must not say.. " He then slowly thinks of something. "You are a hero, no? You are brave enough to stop him, I could imagine..." He then huddles closer to himself. "No. There is no way into the south. He will me before it is opened...." He weaps loudly now. "He is the third in Command. He is summoning an army, that could outnumber North Castle five times! He is coming!" He Then wails out, "Please! Don't let him kill me! Please! I want to live!"

kasei arrives on the scene in time to hear the man speak of the army... well, I sure am glad I didn't kill you back at the temple..then again..kasei raises his dagger. now that I know of the army, I have some freinds who could destroy it in an instant!

"NO!" He cried, "The master is too powerful. The army could kill anyone in an instantr. Unless there was still a Medallion. But there are too few of them around any longer. Never has anyone found one for the past hundred years. The last one was used by the Hero when still he was split into 4 pieces. You know the tale, no? He killed a thousand Stalfos with a single Medallion. But this is far more than one thousand. One hundred thousand sounds a bit more accurate. We shall never survive..." His eyes now looked into the ground, filled with fear. He obviously forgot all about Kasei, for he had a greater fear in mind....

kasei grabbed the man by his shirt. hey! just tell us where to find one of these medalions...

"None know any longer! The last on activated over 100 years ago. Back when Hyrule was south of Death Mountain." His voice was shaking in axiety. "That would be the first place to look. But the south is away from our reach, and no one can find them. And, being that that land is taken, it is likely guarded heavily. There was once a passageway near the Crossroads, leading into the depths of Hyrule, which leads to the underground lair in Midoro Palace, but that is locked by a key, and will only open to the key. Down, down it goes. Few who go through see light again. In fact, our
princess went through that pass many a year back, when Link was still the protector of the Triforce of Wisdom. She was only 20 then. She, of course, lived, but only her wisdom saved her. There are unnamed creatures down there; living weapons of the Goryia. So many..." His eyes burned with frightened memory. "I was one of the very few suvivors. I was going through, about 22 years ago, with a study team, thinking that Link killed all the monsters in the Palace. Everyone was killed but a me and a friend.... We were taken captive, into... the Maze........." His closed his eyes, not willing to say anymore. He was obviously very pained by the topic.

kasei realy didn't think this man served ganon, the demon lord was being revived this second...

Eyes wide open, he added, "And the Third in Command.... The one that was most loyal to Ganon in the fight... At Dark Link's Downfall... He commanded all of the tactics. But all of his men wer too weak. Since Ganon had died a few years before, the Prince of Darkness commanded the next on to take his place... his father.... the king of Darkness... He has never been killed. No one can kill Him... Unless.... THE MEDALLION!"
Apparently, the shaking began to go fast, and faster. He must was going mad. He was shaking, sweating, crying, and drooling before a mad agonizing cry flew from his lips...
"Where are you, LINK!" Those were his final words before his grusom death; instead of drool came blood, coming out like his throat was slit from the inside, and instead of tears, also, came blood. And, began to shrivle into himself, and, before anyone could help him, he was but a dead body, with crushed bones, and a faceless face... What killed him...? The last noise that came from the corpse was a squeeky sound - like when you are slowly exflating a balloon.

This was even more of a sign... that evil was arising...
