OOC: Oh, so what Saber? Are you saying none of my small collection of scribes ever convinced you? Are you saying Julian is the first who ever inspired you to admit how BA scribes are? Just kidding, no hard feelings. Still, I'm going to go sulk. And don't be angery at Simon just because he hates the strategy of attacking the Iron Knuckles, after all, he's the only any attack towards the Master can now land. I'm still going to sulk though.

IC: Simon had a doggish grin across his face. His smile came from the feeling of being contended, and a wicked grin to show his satisfaction that his plan, formulated after some advice for Aria, had worked. Even he was the one able to destroy the Garo's friction; thus, he was the only one who made it possible to hit the Garo, he probably owed Aria more thanks than she owed him, for, without her notation, he would have never been able to connect the dots himself. On his face, the smile shifted, forming a sheepish grin. He didn't desire any thanks, it really was the Gerudo's idea. Regardless, he realized he had other problems to deal with.

One Iron Knuckle down, two to go, and one of them was disarmed. The Garo Master was also far less lethal now, but still perhaps the most deadliest of all the enemies present. Simon readied an elemental burst in his right hand, as his left was clenched around his staff as he hoped to not lose footing himsef in this water, the heat from which he found enjoyable as it covered his feet (as he wore sandals). Finally, with a call, he shot it out of his open palm towards the Garo. "Elemental burst - Light," he shouted, as the bright orb shot towards the Garo Master.

Rosen's attack misses the Garo Master, who is quick to counter, dealing 15 DMG to the Goron.

Aria has a bit more luck, dealing the Garo Master 14 DMG with her spear. The minion of Ganon deals 15 DMG in revenge.

Darilan's Life spell envelopes Valens, and the Hylian general is healed for 20 HP.

However, Sabertache's prayer is unanswered, and Sakiko remains as injured as before.

Taint is unable to knock off the Iron Knuckle's armor. But as the suit of armor is picking up its axe, it is unable to retaliate.

Simon's Elemental Burst races towards the Garo Master, but it is able to dodge the magic. The retaliatory strike misses the human.

The third Iron Knuckle sees the Sheikah scribe as a threat with his healing power and easily deals him a hefty 19 DMG.

The Garo Master, upset over his recent miss, targets Sabertache, but misses again.

Valens rushes to Darilan's aid. With his strike, he succeeds in taking off the Iron Knuckle's armor, leaving him vulnerable to attack.

Aria gasped as the Garo Master's blade sliced through her exposed skin. She backstepped as far away as she could and as fast as she could. Which would have been faster if it hadn't been for the ... mud....

It appeared that her half plan had backfired a bit. The Gerudo stood back and thought for a few quick moments; she was still in a battle, after all.

There was no way the mud could affect her ability to shoot a bow; the mud surrounded her feet, not her hands. Advice she should pass along to the others, but if they all suddenly switched tactics, they would have a slight advantage. She would have to hope they would see what she's doing and mimic the ranger's action.

She stuck her naginata into the mud and took out her bow and bowstring, stringing it as quickly as she could. Normally, Aria would have checked the draw, but she didn't have much time, and her enemies might notice the twanging sound, so she drew an arrow and nocked it. Drawing the string to her ear, she took aim at the Garo Master. "Let's turn you into a pincushion," she muttered in Gerudic as she let the arrow fly.

In his inability to remove the creature's armor, he still managed to get away before it could reclaim it's doom-bringer. He ducked, and rolled out of the way, avoiding any further bludgeoning. As he landed, he was beginning to feel the affects of the earlier blow. His spine hurt from colliding with the wall, and his chest hurt from the initial blow itself. He took a knee, and began to search the room carefully for anything that could replenish his health, or spell power.

Darilan grimaced as the blade cut through his skin. For a moment he thought he was going to die, but he was able to stay conscious and upright. His cursing of the pain became rejoicing as Valens removed the Iron Knuckle's armor.

He believed it was in everyone's best interest to kill the Garo Master before the Iron Knuckles, but if he didn't attack what was standing right by him he might not able to do anything else useful. Since it was without its armor, Darilan stood a chance of hurting the Iron Knuckle. He swung his staff and his torn skin screamed out in agony as the muscles beneath it moved. Knowing he might not get a second chance, he put all the effort he could into hitting the Iron Knuckle's vital area. [WILL 9]

"Come on, Goddesses..."

Sakiko was still near death, and others were being injured. It was becoming very, very vital for Saber's healing abilities to functin properly, otherwise there would be several casualties...

Aria would be next, he decided. Refocusing his thoughts on the Gerudo woman, he began to pray once again. [Favor of the Goddesses on Aria]

OK, so, taking damage was not good for one's health. Victor learned this the hard way.

He had just begun feeling normal again when the Garo Master slashed him. He went down, hard, and immediately felt his stomach churn. To try and avoid barfing again, the Bard curled into a ball on the floor, groaning a bit but managing to settle his stomach slightly. He closed his eyes.

The feeling of water engulfing his form caused him to open them again shortly after. Victor ignored the water at first, but when it started rising up and into his mouth, he spluttered and coughed back to his feet. It was hot, which was a bit soothing at least. He felt rejuvenated... just a bit. He was still looking a little pale when he noticed the Garo Master's sluggishness. A perfect chance!

He readied yet another Elemental Burst, hoping it would work now. This time, the ball of Light blared fiercely, and zoomed toward the Master almost before the Bard could release it.

OOC: I got internet now! I can get on and post normally.

IC: Kagari pulled his dagger from his black studded belt and his shield from his back. He placed the dagger in his right and the shield on his left arm. He then charged in to attack the de-armored iron knuckle. He jumped into the air and he then went to fall into the head of the iron knuckle. He put his body weight into the dagger hoping to do more damage. Or atleast he would hope to hit and not fall on his face.

Alright, so maybe it wasn't the most tactical thing to do a goron with apparently the speed of a caterpillar going up against a ninja who apparently decided that disappointing slow and inept gorons would be a good way to pass the time. Rosen was tired, frustrated, and nearly collapsed with the weight of his age baring down on his self esteem after missing so many times even under the slippery slope of water aiding his gait.

He decided that he needed a pick-up, something to brighten up his day, maybe a little smirk might stretch across his face so long as his swords weren't alienated and ostracized from the flesh of his enemies like nerdy and mild mannered weapons whose dull glow resembled mild acne a the splinters of wood raced towards the dis-armored iron knuckle.

Surely the weight on the iron knuckle wouldn't have enough speed and agility to evade the blushing wood of a shy and apparently morbidly obese sword.

Panting and wheezing, Eberron moved forwards, his arms shaking slightly as he made his way back towards the battle his friends were caught up in.

"Why... am I... So... Slow..."

Wheezing in, Eberron decided that short distances were good. Short distances could be run... long distances made him sleepy. Feeling incredibly foolish and angry at himself for his irresponsible behaviour, he saw that his friends up ahead were in serious danger. One of those creatures that had attacked the caravan was there...except... different. And two huge, armoured knights. Staring at their broad axes Eberron gulped and wondered just how much help he could be... Snapping back to the reality of the situation, now was not the time to start losing the confidence in his abilities that he had only just gained. Drawing himself up as high as he could, Eberron forced himself to pick a target. Noticing in particular that one of the intimidating knights had had his armour knocked clean off. His face drawing into a large, toothy grin, Eberron decided that he would approach his new target with caution. Marching up towards the opponent, he straightened his hat slightly.

"Hi guys. Mind if I join in the fun?"

Eberron chuckled perhaps a little too loudly at his own rather weak joke. As he casually took a step that he estimated would move him into the range of the monstrous, ridiculously oversized weapon that he faced the challenge of avoiding, Eberron threw his hat to the side where it landed with a heavy, thunk against the floor, rolling on its side around to the back of the Iron Knuckle. Simultaneously throwing himself into a dash for the opposite direction, Eberron put all his focus into getting around the creature and having a direct strike at the back of it's head. Moving around to the side, he placed all his weight into one foot, allowing it to dig into the ground for a split second with an earthy crunch as living rock met it's more inanimate cousin. Pulling his great girth round and using the now embedded limb as a pivot, Eberron roared the name of the great Goron hero, hoping to gain some of his strength as he pulled his fist back and swung round to deliver a punch directly into the back of his targets head.

"DRAGONBANE!"

His eyes streaming slightly, Eberron felt the familiar strength coursing through his arms as his powerful fists cleaved a path through the air.

The Garo tried to jump out of the way of Aria's arrow, but he hydroplaned on the water and could do nothing to stop the shaft from sticking into him for 10 DMG.

Scrambling about on the ground, Taint finds a rice ba--I mean, a jelly-filled donut, on the ground. Mmm, donuts. Jelly filled is my favorite!

In a much less favorable twist of fate, Darilan's staff is swept aside by the Iron Knuckle, whose powerful blade lashed out in retaliation, striking the Scribe down on the spot.

Saber's prayers are answered, and Aria recovers 20 HP.

The Garo master half-resists Victor's spell, taking only 10 DMG as it fights to stay upright.

Kagari did indeed fall on his face.

Rosen's blades lash into the Iron Knuckle, dealing a hefty 25 DMG. However, the creature still has too much health to be killed, even honourably.

Rosen's swords are soon followed up by Eberron's fists, which actually manage to knock the large foe back a few steps as well as dealing 17 DMG.

The still armored Iron Knuckle comes to the aid of his friend, swinging his large blade around to scatter the adventurers, and hitting Eberron for 19 DMG. The Garo Master then launches itself at Valens, who jumps away from the speedy foe, though his rapier is unable to strike a blow as well.

Aria felt rejuvanated somehow. From her view of the battleground, it looked like it might have been Saber who prayed for her healing. But the ranger doesn't think about it for long; instead, she drew another arrow from the quiver on her back and took aim at the Garo. The Gerudic woman was determined to take it down before the mud dried. She let the arrow fly towards the ninja, hoping that she's two for two.

One healed...and it doesn't seem like anyone else is being hurt that badly...well, aside from Darilan, but it's too late now...

Saber drew his blade. Maybe it was time to attack again. But how? And who? One of the Iron Knuckles just got double-teamed by the Gorons and was reeling...though honestly, it was probably a good idea to let the Goron finish him off. So then, that left the armored Iron Knuckle and the Garo Master. Well, the Master was fast, but the Knuckle was just plain scary. So the Garo it was.

Saber began to charge forward, and didn't get far before he slipped, landing on his back. Maybe a different strategy was in order. Instead of trying to move, he simply tose to his feet in the rushing water--shaking the droplets out of his hair---and readied a Fire spell. Seeing Aria's arrow headed for the Ninja, he attempte to aim above his foe, cutting off its route of escape. With a word of prayer, he let the spell go. [Fire]

Roaring in pain at the gashing wound stretching across his back, Eberron glanced momentarily back at his attacker, the second armoured knight. Probably looked worse then it was. And felt worse. Ouch... Pushing himself beyond the pain, Eberron focused once again on the creature he had been attacking, it had to be taken down quickly if they were to continue this fight. Considering strategy for as short a time as was available to him in the heat of battle, Eberron decided that he simply didn't have the strength to take down so mighty a creature in a single blow... Rosen's blades on the other hand...

"Fellow Goron! You keep up the attack, I'll watch your back with this new one."

Turning to face the new attacker he decided that perhaps he had a better chance of dealing with the Garo... but he couldn't abandon his friend to be attacked in the back. That hurt. Scowling angrily at the foe that stood before him, Eberron thought carefully about how to approach this. Clearly the heavy armour surrounding this opponent could be knocked off through brute force, the Iron Knuckle about to be hopefully cleaved in two by Rosen was walking proof of that. Deciding that there was only one way to find out, Eberron put as much force as he could muster into another punch. Running up to the axe wielding monster that had struck at him before, Eberron hoped that their might be a weak point around the neck area... Throwing himself upwards, he also hoped to avoid any movement from that terrifyingly fierce looking weapon. He glided through the air in a manner most dissimilar to that of a boulder. In a sudden movement however, he made up for this by moving in a much more familiar manner when it came to boulders. Falling from a height with great force. Pressing all this force into his right fist, Eberron thundered down from above with a mighty war cry, hoping that the height would allow him to notice a weakness in the Knights armour that he could exploit.
