Arrika's mouth twitched into a smile.

Seth, being rather short for his age hoisted himself up the shelves of the cabinet, throwing down anything he thought was edible. Which was most of it. "I dunno, Sovelis... I can honestly say I don't know what most of it is... but it's food, right? Which means you can eat it..."

"Yes, I do think food was meant to be eaten-" Arrika said, swiftly catching a jar of herring aimed at her head.


Ralin sat on a windowsil, her gaze transfixed on the night outside. "The moon... who knew it would be so beautiful?" She said, her breath misting the window a centimeter from her face.

"Yes, it is something, isn't it..." Morendo said, trying not to play along with what she called Ralin's childish games but finding that most of what the pixie said had meaning, contrary to the silly way she often talked.

Sovelis looked at the items Seth had thrown down. "Seth...you wan to eat squid? Why was this even up there?" he asked, looking confused as to how his cabinet had been stocked with lots of seafood. "I never bought any of this...Seth. Did you take some of my money and go grocery shopping?" he asked, looking away from Arrika, who he still had next to him. "I don't mind...just remember to tell me next time. Alright?"

Sovelis looked at the Twili sitting in the window above the sink. "Didn't you ever see the Sol. Aren't those the equivalent of the Sun in the Twilight Realm?"

"Yea, but it's nothing like the moon," Ralin said, as if that were the most obvious thing of all.

"I haven't stolen from you yet," Seth said absentmindedly, still searching the shelves.

"Yet."

A can of sardines went flying towards her this time, catching her on the side of the face and clattering to the floor. "Damn you, Seth-" Arrika grabbed his scarf and pulled him down, causing him to fall and land on the tiled floors with another crash. Luckily nothing from the cabinets had fallen down with him, but Seth was sure his hip was now bruised. Seth jumped up and punched her, and soon they were fighting again. Ralin ignored everyone completely but Morendo gave one glance and rolled her eyes.

"ENOUGH!" Sovelis roared, and grabbed both of them, forcing them apart. "I warned you two once already. And you'll get only one more. Keep fighting, and NO fish fry. Got it?" he threatened, looking back and forth between the two of them. "Now, help me figure out what were going to ear, and don't argue about it." Sovelis said calmly, letting go of them and taking a step back. He looked at Arrika and shook his head.

"Now, can you two work together, or will I be forced to lock you both up until tomorrow?" he asked, picking up some of the things Seth had thrown across the kitchen.

"Wait, does that mean we can fight one more time?" Seth whispered, and Arrika shrugged. "I could pick open any lock anyway..." He added darkly. "I'd like to see him try it."

"You shouldn't keep pushing your luck," Arrika hissed back angrily.

"I want fish," Ralin interrupted, still staring out the window. "I wanna know what it is already."

"Hmph. You're just trying to egg on their fight, aren't you?" Morendo said.

Ralin smiled, revealing her small sharp teeth. "It is kinda funny..." She sighed. "I wonder what it'd be like to go to the moon..."

Sovelis looked at Seth. "i know you could pick any lock. Why do you think their aren't any Locks on the doors? Their all sealed with energy. And if you did get past that, I'd make sure to put an Nth level void seal on your door and windows so you'd be stuck in there until I let you out." he said, shoving some of the food back in the cabinet. "But...If you and Arrika don't fight any more tonight, I won't be forced to lock you both in the same room for a day or two..." the Tempest said, grinning with an evil gleam in his eyes. If that doesn't teach you two how to get along, I don't know what will... he thought inwardly, not caring if anyone heard him or not.

"There wouldn't be anything left of them after they're fought to the death," Ralin giggled. "Oh, lock them in for the heck of it! I want to see what happens."

"Wait, tonight? Then what if we fight again tomorrow?" Seth asked quite seriously.

"Stop looking for loopholes!" Arrika said, getting annoyed. "Jeez Sovelis, you should have learned we bicker at least twice a day now."

"Hah, remember that one time I pushed you in the lake and you almost drowned-" Seth said, but shut his mouth as Arrika's fist twitched.

"That wasn't funny, stupid! And you just sat on that stupid rock and laughed the whole time. If that Zora wasn't there I would have died!"

Seth dared laugh anyway. "You should've seen her, she looked like a scraggly clump of seaweed the fisherman digs out from the bottom of his net..."

Sovelis ignored the bickering of the thieves as he grabbed several fish. "This is gonna be good...Bread em, then fry it in some fresh olive oil...Oh yea...I'm actually getting hungry just talking about it." he said as he opened a drawer and grabbed fillet knife. He set the fish on a wooden chopping board, and started to skin the fish.

"Well, didn't you two eat in the Twilight Realm? I mean...what kind of food can grow in a world with no sunlight, and no rain?" Sovelis asked Morendo and Ralin, looking away as he flipped the fish over and started to skin the other side of it.

"Nothing grows, really. Most of us, especially the upper class for some reason, don't feel the need to eat..." Morendo said.

"Well, we eat each other, don't we?" Ralin said.

Morendo made a face. "I'd heard about that, but I haven't seen it. But yes, I think the lower class enjoys a glass of another's blood every now and then."

"Oh! I tried eating that black stuff that's always floating around. Not too bad, if not tasteless. And hard. But crunchy!" The pixie added. "We don't have a moon either!" She went back to gazing dreamily at the pale orb in the sky.

Seth sat on a chair and watched Sovelis with interest, the flashing of his knife drawing his attention.

"Okay...note to self. Never get near one of you if we are out of food..." Sovelis said, looking at the Twili with a scared look. "So...your a bunch of cannibals? Thats gotta be the pits....eating each other. No wonder your kind is so barbaric and...violent. I bet if w start sending them some real food, they'd all stop being like that!" the Tempest said, sliding his arm blade out and hacking off the fish head. The slimy head flew and hit Seth's cheek with a wet splat sound.

"Whoops! Sorry there, Seth!" Sovelis said, laughing quietly at what he had done.

Seth wiped his cheek as the fish head slid off. The cat ran forward, grabbed it in its sharp teeth and ran off to a corner to eat it in a very possessive manner.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with our eating habits," Ralin objected. "If you were a Twili, you wouldn't care either!"

"Seth's jealous of the cat now. He wanted the head raw," Arrika joked.

"I tried raw fish once. It was pretty good... But fried is the best. Raw's always coated in some kind of slime..." Seth said, not looking too bothered by it.

"Well, I'm glad I'm human. That means I have moral fiber." Sovelis said as he finished with the fifth fish, tossing it onto a plate with the other headless, skinless fish he had fixed. He grabbed another fish and hacked its head off, shoving the head aside for the cat to eat, along with four other heads. "Sushi is...kinda bad for me. I get really bad stomach cramps, and then horrible gas if the fish ain't cooked any." Sovelis said, skinning the fish quickly and without cutting himself.

"Your tribe got the short end of the stick when they were sealed off into the Twilight by the Hyrulian Sages all that time ago. I wasn't even around back then...but I know that we've screwed the timeline up."

"Who cares?" Ralin said, laughing again. "I'm sure I'll be dead by then."

"You're immortal," Morendo said, confused.

"Yea, but I'm bound to be killed in a horrible, tragic, cruel way eventually. That's the price a sinner has to pay in the end," the pixie sang.

The cat grabbed the last fish head and brought it to Seth, dropping it at his feet and looking up expectantly.

"It's gonna be bringing you rats next," Arrika commented.

"If that thing brings dead rats into my house, I swear I'm gonna chunk it through a door that leads to nothing." Sovelis said, shaking the fillet knife at the cat. "Got it, cat? Seth...we need a name for it...that a way, if I kill it, we can put its name on a little rock on its grave." the Tempest said, looking rather evil for some reason.

The cat purred as Seth scratched its chin, looking at Sovelis without any fear.

"Call it Sauron," Arrika said after a moment of thought.

"Wha..? No way!" Seth immediately objected. "I'm not naming him after that drunk."

"Too late. C'mere, Sauron!" Arrika called, and the cat left Seth and jumped into her lap.

"Lord Sauron..." Ralin said dreamily. "I think I'm going to call it that... What do you think, Morendo?"

"I'm not calling it anything. I hate cats."

Seth pouted. "Why does everyone hate them? You gonna get a wolf like Rhyss, Sovelis?"
