Sovelis, over here! aria turned to the tempest, then turned to the hakiem. The shiekah drew her dagger, and ran at him...

The Hakiems look over in annoyance at the sight of both Sovelis and Aria choosing to join in the battle. "Fools," one of the L4's says. The other one nods in agreement. "They choose their own punishment." The L2 laughs at their assessment. "I concur. Let me take care of these fools, men." Grinning, the two obey.

Blank's blades slice forward, but the Hakiem is far too well trained to fall for such a simple maneuver (6+2[Roll+AGI] vs. 12). Rolling sideways and out of the path of the Nomad's strike, he attempts to bring his sword out of its sheathe and deliver his own punishment...but his roll sends him to far away from the charging Blank, and his strike also misses (2+7[Roll+AGI]).

Sovelis' Fire Spell nearly catches the Hakiem off guard, but his well trained eyes manage to spot the incoming glow just before it hits. He is barely able to shield himself (14+6[Roll+SPI]), and only takes half of the original damage, for a deduction of 8 HP. As the mage charges forward, he grips his blade and sends it flying straight into his foe's human arm with excellent precision (10+7[Roll+AGI]), dealing a total of 15 DMG (OOC: Gilded Swords will probably do a lot more than that, but we don't know exactly how much yet, so 15 it is).

As the mage reaches him with his staff, his attempt at attacking fails miserably (6+1[Roll+AGI]). The Hakiem Grunt grabs his sword again and hacks away on him yet again (19+7[Roll+AGI]), dealing another 15 DMG to the Human.

Alex's Elemental Burst is of the Shadow element...which the Hakiems, as Sheikah, all have a resistance to. Though the blast does catch him off-guard (8+6[Roll+SPI] vs. 20), it still is reduced in effectiveness and only deals 4 DMG. The Hakiems' counter-attack is much more effective, as he too fires off an Elemental Burst - of Earth, the Zora elemental weakness. The strike is far too powerful for Alex to even hope to resist (11+2[Roll+SPI]), and an total of 20 DMG is dealt.

Yukie decides that it's his turn to try and take a chunk out of the Hakiem. Unlike those before him, his dual blades slash into the man with no problem (13+5[Roll+AGI]), taking out 16 HP. An instant retaliation is launched, (7+7[Roll+AGI]), and the Deku also takes 15 DMG. The two L4 Hakiems gasp as such a large amount of HP is drained from their commander.

Shada lurches forward as well, striking towards the L2's arm and slashing through it with her twin daggers (18+7[Roll+AGI]), taking out half of his remaining health, 11 HP. The L2 grabs her braid as she flies past him and yanks it back to him, giving him an opening to strike back at her. 15 DMG is dealt to the woman (17+7[Roll+AGI]).

The two L4's grow frightened at their leader's worsening condition, and immediately charge forward, Bronze Swords raised high. They head straight towards Yukie and Shada, striking at them both. Yukie loses 10 HP (19+5[Roll+AGI]), but Shada manages to leap out of the way and avoid the blade (9+5[Roll+AGI] vs. 20)

Sovelis pulls out a Scroll of life and uses it on himself.

Sovelis' healing energies fall upon his weakened form, returning a portion of his strength to him. His health rises back to a total of 20 HP. One of the L4 Hakiems sees this and, grinning swoops in on the rejuvenated Human with his sword. However, the distance between the predator and its target is great enough that Sovelis has plenty of time to dodge out of the way (1+5[Roll+AGI]).

Sovelis: 20 HP, 16 SPL

OoC: Can I use the Tempest's Time-bending to slow down time and go fast?

Alex weakly stands backs up to the nearest wall, after all, that was a very stupid move...
"Damn it!" he said, exausted, he spit black blood. But the enemies were still on their feet, and this was no time to rest.
'Maybe I deserve this, for I killed a whole room of hakiems, it's just the way things must be...' he was slowly lowering his guard to the point he would give up...
'No!' said another voice in his head 'You must fight and kill to live another day, that's the way of nature'
'But...' he slowly tried to reply
'Remember your goal!...
Alex's energies came back to him, his awareness, his fighting rage...
Elemental burst of light!
His body irradiates light from every point of his skin, the doubts had completely disappeared from his face...
He crouched in front of the L4 hakiem, aiming for his chest....

IC:
The Hakiem has no chance at resisting Alex's much more devastating burst now (8+4[Roll+SPI]), and he takes the blast full on. Crumbling against the force, he loses a total of 14 HP to the light. The second L4 Hakiem, wishing for vengeance against his fellow man, lurches forward with his blade held before him. Driving it towards the Zora, he is shocked when it simply rebounds off the Jerkin that the Vagabond wears (6+5[Roll+AGI]) and deals no DMG.

h-hey! don't ignore me! aria was upset about being avoided by the hakiems, so she took out her dagger and charged again, this time, at the one nearest shada.


OOC: seriously, alpha, don't leave aria out, she's my main character for a while, caus I'm working on something, so kasei aint available, she has all of kasei's stats and items, and skills. so just work with her?

IC: Sovelis steps back and uses his scroll of life agian, then takes a defensive pose...

Aria's dagger digs into the shoulder of the L2 Hakiem (11+5[Roll+AGI]), who had disregarded the girl earlier in hopes that she might grow a brain and leave. Losing 8 HP causes him to realize that she will do nothing so smart. Grabbing his sword, he brings it around in a crescent movement that the girl barely manages to avoid (1+5[Roll+AGI]). He grips his chest as he realizes just how close to death he truly is.

Sovelis' spell grants him another burst of energy, restoring him back to his original HP. The second L4 Hakiem drives forward with his sword, but trips up before his blade can reach his prey (2+5[Roll+AGI]).

Shada, seeing this, charges forward with both of her daggers ready to tear the Hakiem apart. The Hakiem sees it coming, however, and leaps skyward to avoid the swiping blades (5+7[Roll+AGI]). High above, he blasts away with his Elemental Burst, utilizing the element of light. Shada can do nothing to avoid being thrown back by the attack's full power. 20 DMG is dealt.

He stood between her and the hakiems, holding tightly his weapons "You're not going to get her!" he told at the hakiems

He ran around the L2 Hakeim, trying to get him from the back, he delivered several slashes the way of his enemy...

Sovlis cast Scroll fo life on Shada.
OoC: Do scrolls cost SPL? I never read it anywhere...

OOC: Well, the Scrolls don't cost SPL. The actual execution of the spell itself is a completely different story.

IC:
Alex's sword rips into the back of the Hakiem (10+3), dealing the death blow to the Sheikah. Falling forward without any of the grace that he had held throughout the fight, the last of his life leaves him.

The remaining two Sheikah gain +2 STR and AGI due to their Avenging Strength L2.

Sovelis' Life spell rejuvenates Shada, rejuvenating her with 21 HP. One of the Hakiems sees this and charges forward, bringing his Bronze Sword down in a mighty swipe that easily catches Sovelis in the shoulder (13+7[Roll+AGI*]), taking out 12 HP.

sovelis! Nothing scares a shiekah like aria except the loss of a freind, and aria sees the attack made on her freind, and quickly casts fire on the one who attacked him.

sovelis, hang in there!

Aria's Fire spell blasts away at the second Hakiem, but he manages to shield himself with enough time to spare so that he only takes half of the intended damage (17+4[Roll+SPI]). But still, in a fight like this, losing even 7 HP can be a big deal. He instantly retaliates, slicing through the girl like she's nothing (15+7[Roll+AGI*]) and dealing 12 DMG.

Yukie finally spots his chance and charges forward like a stampeding bull, both swords ready in his hands. Placing the blades in an X formation, he leaps up to the first Hakiem and slashes through the man's neck (12+5[Roll+AGI]), dealing 16 DMG and finishing the Sheikah off. He falls to the ground as blood slowly drains out of his already deceased form.

The last remaining Hakiem gains an additional +2 STR and AGI. (6 STR, 9 AGI)
