Weary...she is so very weary...

Taking a seat against the side of one of the Trade Quarter's many buildings, Shada sinks into the ground. The sun is slowly beginning to rise over the tops of the mountains that mark the borderline between Parapa Desert and the Deku Forest as the Sheikah woman falls to the ground. She's a mess, to say the least. Black rings have formed beneath her eyes...her clothes are creased and torn in some places...her hair is a mess, and even her braid has begun to come undone in parts.

Though she has eaten in the time between now and when the group had finally escaped the Hakiems' base, that is practically all that she has done to care for herself. And she still feels weak, regardless. Weak and pathetic, for not being able to locate Keyru.

"I...I spent all last night searching the South Greens," she pants quietly. "Then yesterday I combed the Ruto Mountains...in the afternoon I went through all of Tantari...he's either here or Parapa..."

Though she would never admit it, her appearance is enough to shout out that she is worried sick about Keyru. She looks upward to the sky...to the goddesses...and silently prays for someone who can help her - for anyone who knows anything about where Keyru might be.

Alex entered Rauru, looking at every corner, every alley, every inch where she could be lying...
When he found her, he couldn't help but feel sorry, and sad to look at her like that, as he was approaching her, though of all the ways Shada could feel, after all, loosing a sibling...
He tried not be to sudden, but he wanted to make her feel better...
"Alpha is all right, he's in Parapa, south of the lighthouse..." he said as he smiled and put his hand on her shoulder...

Shada has nearly fallen asleep when she senses someone approaching her. Mind suddenly alert - somewhat - she realizes that if this is some mugger, then she is hardly in any condition to be fighting back.

But as her eyes flutter open, she finds the Zora Alex standing above her. "Oh, hey Alex," she says just before a yawn escapes her. She's sleepy, as should probably be expected. But his next statement jerks her awake.

"You found Keyru!?!" She leaps up, all fatigue vanishing in an instant - more like crushed by a newfound hope. "Can you take me to him?"

'Take a left up here! And hurry - they'll help you!'

Snap! Crackle! Pop!

Well, excluding that last one. The snapping and crackling of tree branches and a variety of regional acorns and leaves sounded faintly from outside of Rauru Town. The noise carries on, becoming louder with every passing second. But not in a minuscule sort of way, like a squirrel wandering away from its tree and into the outside world. Rather, it is loud enough to carry a sense of foreboding, as though something - or someone - wicked was approaching.

Then came the grim slashing of weapons. Swords, to be precise. A buzzing sound following the deadly swishing sound, an eerie insecticidal shriek droning through the Trade Quarter every second or two.

The ghastly coughing. A sound that struck out into the sky above the Deku Woods. It hacked multiple times, a terrible sound in such a peaceful area.

And then he stumbled into the Town.

Blank looked awful. He appeared, wandering out of the Thicket, swinging his wooden swords madly at the buzzing troupe of flies and bees that had been following him for hours now. A few were sheered, and a bizarre sound resonated as a result, and finally, with so many people now in sight, the cloud of predators dispersed. Now, Shada was doubtlessly in worse shape, but the nomad appeared to have been through quite the ordeal just getting to his current point. He slumped down against a building - nought but a few feet from the Sheikah. Without realizing that he was in the presence of she whom he sought, the Hylian uncapped his flask and drank deep.

"Empty," he muttered, clearly disappointed. He sighed, and then gazed upwards at the sky. A blue sheen caught his eyes, and he glanced to his right, wondering what he had seen. "Oh, Alex, do you have a flask to lend..." What wash e doing? Without realizing, Blank had engaged in an accustomed air of conversation. His eyebrows drooped when he noticed that the Zora was already speaking, but not to the Hylian, which perplexed Blank to no end. That is, until he followed the ranger's gaze, directly towards the other of that class.

"Shada!" he excalimed, jumping to his feet with an embarrassed - yet cheerful - grin forming on his face. "We found Alph..." he trailed off, seeing that Alex had already notified the young, ragged woman.

Aria had been in town that day, looking for a good store to buy her food for the day, when she came across some strangers near a girl. The young shiekah walks up to them, and speaks. hello, can I help in any way? here, let me introduce myself, my name is aria sirichi gobi, whats yours?

OOC: sorry, alph, if ya want me to edit it, I will, but I can't fing the other FOG's, sorry. T_T

Alex turned to Blank, so fast that it hurt it's neck but he was glad to see him again, both him and Shada...
"Blank! What took you so long? I even went after you, but I guess being a ranger myself..." he made a stop, looking at the state of his friend, obviously he did had a hard time getting here, maybe talking the less he could about that...
"But the important thing it's that we're together now" he said trying to make the others to feel the lighter side of the situation. After all, everyone was fine...
No, not everyone was fine, there was still...
"Shada, there is something you must know. Calla, the Rito girl with Alpha, is very weak right now, I'm not sure in what state she is right now, but she is staying with Alpha south of Parapa Village" he looked at the mountains separating them from Alpha, just an insignificant bunch of rocks.
"Well, I guess you now want desperatly to see Alpha, right, then let's get going right away... But you should eat first, wnat some fish? Just caought it this morning!" he shows a dead fish, all complete, and it really looks fresh...
"Aria?" he said upon the arrival of the girl "I'm Alex"
OOC:Shada and Alpha/Keyru are brothers, aren't they, maybe I misunderstood, but Alex also lost his sister, but he's sure she's somewhere...

OOC:

OOC: What? No, Shada is in no way related to Alpha. They were born in the same village, that's all.

IC:
Shada exudes relief at not one, but two confirmations that Keyru is doing just fine. Though Alex's words about Calla do reintroduce a touch of shock back into her soul, the mere knowledge that Keyru is alright helps her. She completely ignores Aria, and instead looks over to Blank. "Where exactly is he? Can you guys take me to him, please?"

Any response that the duo could've made is cut off as a frightened yell erupts from behind the two adventurers. "YAAAAAH!!!" comes a cry. Looking past Blank and Alex, Shada spots an elderly Deku flying out from around the corner. He seems to be an elder - how Shada knows this, she isn't sure, since she's never met an old Deku. His body still seems to function perfectly, but the arrangement of leaves on his face resemble that of an old man's hair covered chin and mouth. Two short swords lay tied to his waist, dragging against the road as he sprints towards them.

He appears to be running...running from...

Shada's jaw drops open in fear. "Oh no...not here - not now!"

...running from two Sheikah, both wearing robes that seem extremely familiar. Shada instantly grabs her twin daggers and moves past her informants. "Hakiems!" she cries out in a challenge. 'What the heck are they doing here? The Hakiems Tribe never raid towns...and who is this Deku they're after...?'

OOC:Wow! Nice turn of the events Alpha, you cut of what I planned out...
IC:"Quick! We must hide now" said Alex, tough he tried to think what Shada was thinking "We can try to save the Deku, but you can't be seen, for I am sur that know your face very well; and you're very weak right now" tring to give her strong reasons for her to stay of danger.
He held tight to his daggers, and got prepared for any surprise attack...
OOC: By the way, I think I already know who that may be...

Thunk! Thunk!

Blank slapped the flats of his wooden blades together, a mischievous grin forming on his face. "Why hide?" His meaning? At the moment, there were at least three capable fighters being approached by two formidable Hakiems tribesman. Now, Blank was never one to consider ranks when it came to elite groups, such as these. Glancing back and forth between Shada and Alex, Blank let the grin slide away and replaced it with a serious look, accompanied by a fleeting desire to charge the enemies.

"Shada, Alex, I think we can take 'em." said Blank, sure that the accomplished rangers, coupled with a strong nomad, would be able to defeat two Sheikah. It was worth a shot. Running and hiding would do very little. Besides, Blank had just walked from Parapa to the Woods, and he was in no mood to take to the strain of continuous motion so soon after arriving.

wait, why just them? I can fight too! aria brings out a jeweled dagger, and gets into a shiekah stance, the same one kasei uses, sometimes. what? think i'm defenseless?


OOC: alpha, for futer reference, aria's stats are the same as kasei's

...yeah, you probably do. I was inserting a reference to him every (good) chance I got in the Event.

IC:
The Deku looks up to see the young Sheikah woman call out in challenge to those chasing him. 'By myself, I couldn't a done this...but with their help...' He charges straight over to where Shada stands, poised to attack, and the Deku draws his own two Deku Swords. "You know the Hakiems, eh? I won't ask for details right now, but thanks fer the help young lady!"

Shada gives him a nod in reply, remaining silent and focused. Her reflexes aren't nearly as bad as the Zora thinks; she'd managed to fight more enemies than this in the past with no sleep for three days straight. A single night and only two foes - Hakiems L4 by the look of their handkerchiefs - were no problem for her.

Of course, two Hakiems of their status wouldn't be alone here. Without warning, a third member of the tribe appears, this one wearing a black handkerchief - a Hakiem of the highest class, L2. The Sheikah emerges from Shadowmeld right in between the Hakiems and their prey, eyeing all three of them.

"I see...you three are members of Varaudo's group," he says with a malicious grin. "We were promised a considerable reward for each of you - all we need do is get your heads. Then we'll get you to tell us where your friend is, Yukie," he indicates the Deku.

"You, on the other hand, are not our enemy. Stand down, girl," the Hakiem says to Aria. "You do not want to get involved in our fight. Trust me on this."

Sovelis say all this happen from his house.(Across the street) and decided to interveen. " Who are you three? why are you attacking these people?!?" he says as he holds his staff in one hand and a fire spell in the other...

It was then that Blank noticed the Dekus twin blades belted to his body. He smiled, and gazed down at his own swords. A Deku wielding two swords... if his temper is as bad as the others of his race, I imagine he's quite the accomplished swordsman... thought the Hylian, beaming with pleasure at having the opportunity to fight alongside this Yukie character.

Of course, standing their grinning like a foolish child was hardly his idiom. Nor was a quick, lightning-paced lunge. Rather, Blank stared long and hard at his lackluster weapons, comparing them to the Deku's physical structure, he forced any similarities from his train of thought. Nothing would be more insulting than the notion of beating a foe with the remains of a Scrub. Blank focused his attention on the L2 Hakiem.

Cut off the head and the body dies.

Would this metaphor hold true in this particular battle? There's no way... Blank knew that the Hakiems were not only intelligent and powerful, but that they also bore a sort of courageous spark. Cowardice did not seem be an area of their idiom. He would have to apply a different level of thinking.

Cut off the head and the arms become weaker.

Now this was a thought that held up just fine. By removing the stronger of the group, the weaker ones would stand less of a chance. He would have crossed his fingers had the sword in his left hand not occupied each of the fleshy tendrils. And then, crossing his arms so that the Deku Swords formed a shape that resembled a pair of scissors. Then, advancing slowly on the center Hakiem, the nomad jerked his arms to the sides in what he hoped would prove to be a powerful cross-slash. Many a Moblin had fallen to the technique, and it was time for a Hakiem Sheikah to be added to the toll.

Sovelis sees Blank atack the L2 Hakiem, So he cast a fire spell at it (him?). he then took his staff in both hands and struck with it as well.

'Yukky?' thought Alex, but only for a second, he soon started to forze his mind to make different ways to fight the hakiems.
"I thought AND hoped that yesterday would be the last time I would see a Hakiem, but I guess Cattle manure isn't easy getting rid of" though he knew hakiems were very strong-minded, he said this as a way of getting them enraged and blind their minds.
Before a normal eye could notice, he leapt over L2 Hakiem, he watched as his shadow over him was getting smaller, he extended his arms holding daggers, ready to unleash swift slashes over the leader...
He rolled to the center of the formation, ready to avoid any attacks
