Leth felt the wave hit him, and he shuddered. "We've been in places like this before." He told his party. "And we survived. "So we will again." His words seem to hearten his companions, and they reach the bottom quickly. Leth reaches for his lanturn, and lights it, looking around.

Worru reached for his lanturn, and realized that when he bought the rope, the lanturns had been sold out. All thanks to the stupid Spleunker's Convention. "Leth, can I borrow your lanturn? There has to be a door of some kind around here."

"Sure!" Says Leth, and he passes his lantern to Worru.

Worru grabbed the lanturn, and searched around for a door.

Positioned on the wall is a massive door, adorned with blood-stained granite. On the door is a mural, depicting sacrifices and arcane rituals. Binding the mural together is a skull with horns jutting from its forehead. The torches beside it give it a fierce red glow, embedding the first picture of horror you will see here in your minds... but it is definitely not the last.

"Nice. Only one problem. How do we get inside?" asks Worru.

Leth sees the mural, and looks away in distaste. "Ugh... that's gross." He looks around, grimacing every time his eyes sweep over the mural. [Awareness check]

Saber hunched down a few feet away from the entrance, checking his supplies over again. "Okay...got my lantern...two bottles of oil...some rope....leftover food from my after-fight dinner at the cafe...I think I'm good to go. I don't want to go alone though, maybe I had better wait for someone..." He sighed and sat down, repacking his stuff.

Dogura and darkin appeared over the horizon, Darkin loaded up with supplies. "Why do I have to carry everything?" Darkin complained, trying to keep up with the samurai. Dogura snickered. "This was your idea. Besides, in old times, the donkey was always loaded up with the supplies!" Dogura laughed, but Darkin didn't seem to find it very funny. "Just you wait Dogura. You'll get yours!" Dogura chuckled at this. "Of course I will, of course I will." It was then that the samurai spotted a man he had met earlier. For some reason, the vagabond couldn't place the man's name. "Excuse me." Dogura asked, approaching the man. "Have we met before?" Darkin dropped all of the supplies in the sand, creating a cloud of dust and sand around his feet. "Yes, you're that guy from Tantari Cafe, correct?"

Saber hopped up at the arrival, having to grab his lantern as it almost fell out of his pack. "Ah yes, I remember you from that brawl! I'm Sabertache, Saber for short. What is your name? Do you plan on exploring this dungeon as well?"

Dogura nodded. "Yes, yes, that was it. I've never heard a name like that before." Darkin smiled, and started ravaging through their supplies, making sure they would have everything they needed. Dogura peered past Saber, into the hole that lead into the ground. Answering Saber's question Dogura nodded. "I'm going to explore, and conquer it!" Darkin closed up the pack, and at that moment a red dot pierced the blue hue of the sky overhead. A tiny man in green tights descended from the sky, and danced around. "Ah, there you are!" Darkin exclaimed. "I was wondering when you would show." Dogura turned and smiled at the tiny man. "Saber, this is Tingle. He offered us a great deal of rupees if we would take him with us through the cave, so he could map it out." The tiny man danced around a little more.

"Tingle, Tingle, Kooloolimpah! These are Tingl's magic words, please do not steal them! When people want to take on the cave, they will come to Tingle, for I will be the only one with maps of the cave! Please, let us go as soon as possible!" Darkin seemed a bit annoyed by the man, but forced a smile. Its all for the rupees, its all for the rupees, its all for the rupees... He said over and over again in his head, as Dogura also seemed a bit unerved by the man. "Alright, lets head inside." Dogura said, just as another voice pierced through the convorsation. "You guys didn't expect to go this without me did you?" A man cloaked in a black trench coat appeared behind Saber. "I see you were drawn here too Dogura..." Dogura cautiously pulled Saber away from the man. "We don't want trouble Fang..." Darkin commented. The man smiled mischeviously.

"I heard there was some great treasure at the end of this thing." The man said, meandering over to Saber. "Hey kid. My name is Fang, so don't forget it. You'll soon be praising it." Fang examined the hole in the ground, and snickered. "Well, until we get to the treasure room, I'm hold no hostility towards any of you." Dogura frowned. "You had better not pull anything funny Gang, you hear me?" Fang waved non-chalantly. "I told you not to worry abou- eh?" Fang noticed the tiny green man standing next to Dogura. "Oh... We meet again little man...Now listen here you little you little imp. Get in my way, and there will be trouble understood?" The tiny man gulped, and nodded. "Well, we're ready to roll. Lets head inside." Fang motioned to the group to follow him in.

Saber smiled and nodded as Dogura explained his intentions. Great, he thought, with him at my side I'll be safe...

When the small green man arrived, Saber couldn't resist a small smile at the comic nature of him. Although, he still felt a bit....creeped out. Then again, he was offering a lot of money for protection, and as a mercenary you just don't turn down money.

Then he was suddenly pulled off balance by Dogura, and after he caught himself he looked over his shoulder to where yet another new face was standing. Watching him go on his egotistical rant, he leaned over to Darkin. "Well, this guy's full of himself, eh?"

Darkin looked sternly to his new friend. "That was Fang Gengai. He has good reason to be full of himself..." Darkin began. "A long long time ago, when Dogura and I were only academy students, Fang was top in his class, as was Dogura." Dogura, making sure Fang had dissapeared, turned back to Saber, picking up where Darkin had left off in a hushed whisper. "Fang and I have been rivals ever sinse I can remember. While I have trained far harder than he, power still favors him. He collects small pieces of an old legendary meteorite that slammed into Hyrule ages ago. These pieces of rock somehow empower the possesser. Fang has in his possession three of those pieces. Oddly enough, he doesent often rely on their power. While I'm still pretty sure I can take him on, it would be best if avoided at all possible." It was at that moment that Fang rose up out of the hole. "Are we going or not?" Darkin nodded, and the two jumped into the hole.

ooc: yes, it seems like a lot of people are waiting on him.

ic: saber took in this knowledge with an awed expression. How was it he got grouped with two of the most powerful people in the kingdom--and rivals? Just his luck... He looked down the hole that they had jumped down and thought better of it. He couldn't see the bottom--what if it was fatal? After thinking for a while, he took out his rope and tied it around a large rock at the entrance, then slowly lowered himself down.

"Do you guys see anything down there? Hello?"

Worru looked up at the newcomers, and yelled up to them. "Hey you guys! What're you guys doin' in a place like this?"
