OOC: Nice referance And no, I'll just say no because I can't be certain that I'll be active enough.
IC: Alex followed the warrior's finger, and placed a hand over his eyes. "Okay, okay, I can understand." Walking over to the appliance, Alex turned a knob. "When you turn the knob with the "H" letter on it, warm water runs out, and goes down the drain, and through this pipe system." The boy knelt down, and opened a cupboard under the sink, revealing metal pipes that hung just over some cleaning supplies. "The water runs down those pipes, and into an underground water system." Alex stood up, and closed the cupboard. "Its completely safe, I promise." Alex dissapeared into the next room, looking around for Dogura, who happened to still be messing with the TV.
Grabbing the remote, Alex turned the TV on, and switched it to the news, which was on channel 12. There was an emergency broadcast airing, with a chopper view of the city. The view was beyond frightening. People were running from the many monsters that ravaged the streets. Dogura's eyes widened. "How did you fit an entire land inside this box? What sorcery is this?" Alex hushed him, as a man at a desk was seen on the screen. "We have confirmed reports of monsters, you heard me, beasts ravaging all of New York! The president has yet to act on this, but we have recieved military forces to try to combat these monsters."
On screen, officers were firing bullets at the beasts, which seemed to have no effect, as they were rushed, and brutally massacred on screen. "They're being hurt!" Dogura shouted, pulling his sword out of his sheath, and cutting right through the Television set. A slight shock caused the samurai to drop his weapon, but the TV was beyond repair. "Dogura what were you thinking??" Alex shouted, standing up out of the chair he was seated in. Dogura glared back at the boy. "I had to try to save the people in the box! They were being murdered! I cannot just sit and watch it happen!" Alex banged hgis head against the wall a few times, before turning back to his creation. "Dogura, I made you smarter than that! You know full well that a city can't fit inside a friggin box that size!" Dogura picked up his sword, and sheathed it. "I haven't a clue what to expect in this odd world of yours. I spologixe for breaking your color box."
Alex was a bit ashamed at himself. Dogura was right. They had been brought completely out of their element, and it would be quite some time before they could completely adjust. With a heavy sigh, Alex plopped back on the couch. "Well, now we can't know whats going on outside." Alex rested his face in his hands, before suddenly remembering that a radio broadcast would surely be in affect! Hopping over the back of the couch (which his mom would normally scold him for doing), he turned on the radio, and turned the dial unti he heard the word "beats" on the radio. It was faint, but he could hear well enough. "Monsters have been spotted downtown! They're destroying everything! They're slowly but surely advancing towards the outskirts! They seem to be comming from nowhere! The-" kkkccchhhhhhhh
The radio station had completely buzzed out. Alex stood up, and gulped. "Guys...
They're headed this way..."

Orpheous turned on a small tracer on his ankle. It would allow Matt to trace him, considering they would eventually reach the house. He drew his galley oar when he saw the creatures on t.v., and heard them on the radio. In his other hand, he held his sword. He gave a supprised look to Dogura when he destroyed the t.v., but he didn't speak up. He just thought about the targets, and prepared himself. Bou drew his sword, and Simon took Orpheous' traveling book collection on his back.

Saber relaxed as Alex explained the contraption. This was very, very strange....slowly, he turned the knob again to start the water. He stuck his hand under the stream, and found it pleasantly warm.....and warmer.....even warmer....BURNING! He screamed and his hand flung back. There was now steam rising from the basin, and it rose up in front of a very shiny picture of....himself? He stared at it in nonbelief, then moved to the side. The picture moved with him!
A smile slowly spread across his face, and he began to move all over the place, and the picture matched his every move and twitch. However, it soon began to change....the picture was getting fuzzy and white, as though mist were filling the room. Now the only thing mimicing him was a strange blob the color of his shirt and hair. Losing interest, he looked back down and saw a cloth. Picking it up, he held it under the water to get it wet. At least this still works the same... He thought, relieved.
He used the wet cloth to mop up the vomit smeared on his chin and shirt, then rinsed off the cloth. Looking around yet again, he saw a shiny, oddly shaped chair with a fuzzy top. Hmm....I could use a rest after that desert jog.
He walked over and was about to sit on it when he noticed that the top of it was merely a lid; there were hinges on the back. Opening it up, he stared down into a clear pool with a hole in the middle. Blinking in wonder, he observed the rest of the strange object. On the front of the backrest was a small, silvery lever. An internal battle pursued on what to do next, but his curiosity won--he hesitatingly reached towards the silver lever, then quickly yanked it down.
Immediately, a loud whooshing noise was heard. Startled, he stumbled backwards and looked into the center of the chair again. It was spinning! Is this....a portal? This must be how the Moblins are getting around!
Panicked, he rushed into the living room again, just in time to hear the child's final announcement of the situation. "Alex! I know where they are! They are coming out of the shiny chair in the bathroom, it's really a portal! Go look for yourself!" He jabbed a shaking finger down the hall as he stared at Alex with wide open eyes.

OOC: Alpha and I have been loving your "antics" Saber. You pull it off real good. Also, I typed up a huge post, and now its missing. I'm pretty pissed off.
IC: Alex immediately knew what Saber was talking about. There is only one "Shiny Chair" in the bathroom, and the boy heaved a sigh before heading back to the bathroom, but not before holding up a finger to the rest of the group, so as to signal that he needed a moment. Following Saber into the bathroom,(once again) Alex pointed to the "portal" and began a long explaination about what it really was and how it was used. After the explaination, he lead Saber back to the living room, only to find Dogura peering out the window. His face was that of concern. "12... no... 13 Moblins are headed up the street." Dogura muttered loud enough for Alex to hear. The boy froze, not quite knowing what to do. Thoughts pinched him left and right.
"Damn... Faster than I thought..." Alex said under his breath, turning to the rest of the group. "Have you guys ever fought Moblins before?" He asked, hoping to dear god that their answer would bring a sigh of reliefe to his lips...
OOC: Last time, I explained everything, and it was a bit longer. Not feeling it today XD

OOC: I love the antics, too. Keep it up man.
IC: Orpheous nodded his head, Simon doing the same, but Bou said something odd, "Well this is no fun." Orpheous told Simon to keep watch over the phone and use frequent assist spells. Orpheous decided to stick to his galley oar(these may not be zombies, but they have the same amount of brains XD). Bou picked out his 'Sword of Zega Moon'. Bou was the first person to ask back to Alex, "Can we take these chumps down yet?"

OOC: Yes, I love the antics so much, I've decided to join up with this as well.
Though maybe not in the way ZV took it when I mentioned the possibility to him on AIM last night . . .
IC:
'This is getting just plain old dull.'
"Is anybody home?" the teenager calls out unenthusiastically as he pounds on the next doorway. "Cause if so, those creatures are coming this way . . . you need to evacuate ASAP . . ." And of course, there is no answer - once again, he's a bit late with his warning. Curse this volunteer work.
With a shake of his head, the boy turns away and walks back across the barren lawn towards the sidewalk, trotting as if he is the one who is unaware of the oncoming Moblin forces. It had all seemed so simple, he remembers as he pulls his brown leather coat tighter around his tall, thin form. He'd been sitting at home two days ago when the special report had covered every single station - including Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, he recalls with a grimace - saying that strange, pig-like humanoids had invaded New York and were attacking anything and everything in their path with superhuman strength and determination. He'd immediately gotten on all the Legend of Zelda forums, having recognized them as Moblins . . . just like pretty much every other member who knew anything about the Zelda series.
And then that one guy had posted a new topic at the TDC Forums declaring that he had signed up for a temporary job with the Red Cross and would be in New York taking pictures the following day. 'And of course, I couldn't allow myself to be outdone in anything related to Zelda. . . I signed up within fifteen minutes of reading that.' A fully paid trip up to New York to the area where the Moblins were . . . and once he'd arrived, he'd been put to work immediately. And since he had no medical training, he was assigned jobs as far away from the invading Zelda characters as could be thought possible. 'Yeah, sure, being an Eagle Scout doesn't count for anything . . .'
His current assignment was a simple one: go to each house on the Moblins' current path, knock on the doors and tell everyone to evacuate. And he wasn't allowed to linger, or they'd take away his return flight home. Good luck paying for a flight back to Georgia when every cent in one's possession is already dedicated to paying for the next year of college. With a sigh, the boy reaches the sidewalk again and, as always, takes a hopeful look back the way he's come. And again, they still are just barely out of sight.
The kid looks down at himself. A thick brown coat over a white T-shirt with a soccer ball on the front, long black pants, and some gray Nike tennis shoes. Figures that his parents had to have gotten him so much sports-related apparel . . . he hates playing sports, after all. Well, at least it doesn't matter if these clothes get muddy . . . as if that will happen. And then, one last item of interest . . . he chuckles to himself as from beneath his coat he pulls out his Civil War sword, the kind that soldiers could attach to the tips of their muskets. Oh, what an effort he'd gone through to smuggle it along with himself on the airplane . . . of course, with the crew being as nervous as they were, they probably would have missed it if someone tried to smuggle along a tank. Though . . . he really has no use for it . . .
"Tyler, how the heck do you get yourself into these messes, anyway? . . ." If he'd just decided to let that forum-goer have the last laugh . . . well, at least he could've had his HA2 character Alpha fight against a Moblin or two. Would've destroyed them; heck, the boy's so mad he might have allowed the Sheikah to unleash his true power against the Moblins. After a second of this line of thought, though, Tyler barks a quick laugh, lacking in any trace of humor. "Yeah, sure, destroy the world of Hyrule to try and calm down . . . real smart . . ."
He walks over to the next house . . . and suddenly wonders if he really is ahead of the Moblins. A slashed up flamingo lawn ornament and a shattered gnome lie on the lawn, along with someone's vomit . . . carefully, he steps over that last one. Well, there's no blood or dismembered body parts lying anywhere, so . . . maybe somebody was just practicing with a sword or something? He'd accidentally shattered two glass light bulb covers on his overhead fan when he'd started practicing with the sword two years ago (and if his parents had found out they'd have probably taken it away from him), so it was plausible. Well . . . whatever the case, looks like he might actually be able to do something worthwhile today after all.
Walking towards the doorway, Tyler gets the surprise of his life when suddenly a figure appears at the window, gazing outside and muttering something . . . and he looks somewhat familiar. 'Huh . . . never seen him before in my life, that's for sure. But still . . . could someone have described him to me or something?' Not to mention the fact that he looks like some sort of . . . samurai.
Oh man, this could be exactly the kind of thing to break through the monotony his life has taken on over the past day. With a newfound sense of adventure - and a sincere hope he won't be disappointed - growing inside him, the guy begins pounding on the front door, though it's probable that the samurai-guy has already seen him. "Hey! Those creatures are coming this way, and fast! Anybody in there? You need to evacuate, ASAP!"
OOC: Enter me, myself, and I.

Alex heard the knock at the door, but hesitated to answer. "Dogura, who's at the door?" Dogura pushed down the blinds with one finger. "Not sure. He's not a moblin. Should I answer it?" Alex furrowed his brow. Of course its not a Moblin. My door would be in pieces right now if that were the case. Grabbing an arrow from his quiver, the boy turned the knob, and opened the door. Standing at the door was a lanky teen, who seemed to be in his late teens. "Hey man, I don't know who you are, or where you come from, but you had better get inside." Alex pointed down the street, where Moblins were appearing over the horizon, just as the samurai inside had predicted. "Listen, there are some real freaky looking men in here, and if I told you where they came from, you would never believe me. This isn't a cosplay, and I think they really might be able to take out these moblins. Waddaya say?" Dogura appeared behind Alex, and raised an eyebrow. "You best seek shelter. Moblins are ruthless creatures, who would slay women and children without a second thought." Alex elbowed Dogura for doorway space. "Yeah dude, in other words, we're screwed."
OOC: Welcome to the party Tyler. If blank shows up cursing the topic, ignore him, he'll get over it. Time for bed, I'll post more once "Tyler" posts again.

Tyler blinks his eyes, and turns back to look over at the horizon, following this kid's finger. His eyes suddenly widen in joyful surprise. 'Th-th-there they are! REAL LIVE MOBLINS!!!' A happy fan-grin splashes across his face before the logical part of his brain can catch the reactionary part. "Uh . . . yeah, good point . . ." he finally mutters, more to himself than to whoever it is that opened up the door for him. The nineteen-year old takes another, closer look at him - younger than Tyler, but not by too much. The kid continues, making some really odd statements that cause him to try and peak past into the rooms beyond. 'NOT cosplay? Can actually take out these Moblins?! What???'
Just then the samurai guy pokes his head into the conversation, effectively blocking any and all of Tyler's attempts to see whoever else is inside. And even as the nagging sense that this man is familiar grows larger in his heart, the man's words cause him to reflexively snap into the defensive. "Hey buddy, I happen to be a seasoned player of the Zelda series; I know quite well that Moblins are dangerous evil beasts. I'm not exactly defenseless here, ya know," he adds, holding up the sheathed sword. Then he mutters again: "Of course, this thing isn't really as sharp as I'd have liked . . ." But hey, the sheath is as much metal as the blade itself, so at least he can whack anything in his path really hard . . .
The kid's agreement with the samurai prompts him to enter thinking-mode again. He's got a job to do, after all, and should he foul it up either he'll be stranded here in New York or missing out on his next semester of college (and though the latter is kind of appealing, it isn't a desirable path to take). But honestly . . . who has not evacuated at this point? And besides . . . one glance is all he needs. At this point, the Moblins are so close - close enough that he can actually make out some of their features! his fanboy side cheers - that he'd be putting himself in harm's way if he went back out there. Nodding slightly, he motions to them both. "Well alright then, I'll join you all as soon as you move out of the way," he says with a sarcastic tone and grin.
He takes another good look at the samurai as he moves past . . . he looks like . . . something he's seen. Wait a second . . . an avvy somebody had had! That's it; somebody had once had an avatar that looked exactly like this guy, only in cartoon form. Now who was that . . . ?

Alex nodded in agreement, and stepped aside, closing the door behind the boy. "I'm a big fan of the Zelda series too, but I've always hated Moblins. They're even uglier in real life." Alex turned to the men in a serious state of mood. "Alright guys. Saber, you and Dogura head out and destroy as many Moblins as you can! Baka, you're staying here in case any try to break in. The two of us will cover you from my upstairs window." Alex turned to the boy, and asked, "Do you know how to work a paintball gun?"
Dogura, stilla bit confused in all of this, understood the words "Destroy as many Moblins as you can." Dogura was ready to roll. "Moblins are slow and stupid. It should be no task to destroy at least 5 of them until I break a sweat." Alex was still a bit worried about the men. Although he had found them in a different dimension, and knew them to an extent, he still couldn't help but wonder if they were the real deal. It still seemed a little to unrealistic to really be happening. A haze of confusion seemed to cloud his thoughts, as he tried to make sense of everything that was happening.
However long he wanted to think, he dare not waste anymore time. "Alright, lets go!" Dogura opened the door, and was already in the street by the time Alex had reached the stairs. Pointing to the boy who had been wandering the streets, he called out in an almost commanding voice, "Up the stairs! We have to do all we can to help!" Gribbing his bow tightly in his hands, he continued up the stairs, now questioning his abilities. He had been practicing archery with his best friend for quite some time now, and was sure of his skill. But underneath the confidence, there was a spark of doubt. He had never been in a life or death situation, and the taget had always remained in place. Now... He shook any thoughts of doubt he had remaining. He had to put all of that practice to use, and protect his friends.
"Hey man, whats your name?" He asked the stranger, just before handing him a paintball gun. "Whoever you are, just pull the trigger to shoot a paintball. If you flip the switch behind the trigger, you can switch to automatic mode. And I know, paintballs wouldn't normally hurt a Moblin in any serious way... But I've been saving those paintballs in the freezer cause of a rumor I heard that they would last longer. They're really hard, and to make things even better, I've switched the CO2 with Nitrous Oxide, which really smarts." Making sure his bowstring was tied tight, he added one last detail. "Be sure to aim for their eyes. I figure the best we could do is blind them." Reaching the top of the stairs, and turning a corner, he opened a window, only find Dogura getting closer to a collison with the beats...

Orpheous and comp. take a quick look at Tyler, as if to see it he really could be of any help to them. He was about the same age as Simon, and he had a sword. He would probably be ok, exspeacially if he didn't have to use his sword in combat. When Orpheous saw the paintball gun being handed to him, he realized that everything should turn out alright.
However, when the instructions were given out, Orpheous just stood there, realizing he had been givin no commands. He wispered something to Simon, and Simon went to ask Alex if he should cast his spells from a window, also. Since Bou hadn't gotten any instructions, he went with Dogura and Saber to the street to 'destroy as many moblins as possible'. Orpheous decided to help Baka defend the house from moblin attacks.
OOC: Will there be any boss, or other creatures, or is this just going to be sheer moblin war fare.

Tyler stands there for several moments after the commands are given, allowing the samurai to leave before finally letting his mouth drop open in sheer shock. Baka. Saber. And most importantly, Dogura. That was why the guy looked so familiar - ZV had once had an avatar looking exactly like this samurai guy, and has said numerous times that it was exactly how he pictured Dogura. But that was impossible . . . the people of HA2 were fictional - not real - imaginary . . . just like Moblins, he realizes with a start. If real live Moblins were marching down the street at this very moment, was it really that hard to believe that the characters in HA2 could be here too?
He numbly accepts the paintball gun offered him, all the while attempting to force his mouth closed again and failing miserably. His mind is working at lightspeed. Who then are those other guys - which characters are they? They don't seem nearly as out-of-place in this world, or at least they seem more comfortable. Maybe some of those characters that are supposed to be able to travel throughout dimensions and have modern day weaponry and whatnot - and at least in this case their knowledge of the real world is an asset rather than an annoyance. He quickly checks over their bodies - nope, all their limbs appear to be real. Not Sovelis. He breathes a sigh of relief; the last thing this world needs is a guy as powerful as the Last Tempest with an evil spirit inside him. Oh well, he'll ask later.
For now, though, who the heck is this kid that's leading him upstairs? Surely Tyler can figure out that much from what he knows . . . then scolds himself for being so prideful. It could be very well that this is some random kid, with no relation to the HA2 characters at all. But something in his gut says otherwise . . . the kid's too darn comfortable around these people. He seems to know how they think already, even though it's highly unlikely he's been in the presence of these warriors for very long. If such battle-hardened warriors are just now beginning to fight the Moblins, it'd make a lot more sense for them to have just arrived within the past few minutes/hours.
Well, there is one fairly easy way to check and see if the kid knows of him, Tyler thinks with a grin as he finally shuts his mouth again. "Heh, you've obviously never been hit on your bare skin with a normal paintball - hurts more than you know. As for my name, it's Tyler . . . but you can also call me by the name I use whenever I'm online. I actually use it enough that I answer to it as much as to my own name. Call me Alpha."

Alex opened the window, and propped a box up against it to lean on. Stringing his bow one last time for extra measure, Alex listened to his new ally speak. Then the name hit him. "Tyler? Alpha!" He glanced at Tyler with a small grin. "You don't say." Overlooking his bow one last time, before picking his best arrows out of the box, he did a double take at the stranger. He plays Zelda... His name is Tyler... And his online name is Alpha? This is too strange... Then again, everything seemed these last few hours has seemed like a torent of confusion and unrealistic events. The possibility gripped Alex's mind, and forced him into a state of curiosity.
Finally, Alex thought it to be possible. He knew a few players from the very same site that he used Dogura to role play at. He was espacially familiar with the group he started off playing with, one of which being a teen named Tyler, who played as a character named Alpha. "I've been hit with plenty of paintballs, but thats the problem. They're not lethal. We're looking to kill the Moblins, not just give them a bruise that their gonna regret later. If you can hit them in the eyes, it would blind them for sure. I think there is a scope in my closet on the second shelf to the left."
Finally, Alex loaded his bow, but not before asking one more question. "Online name huh? Ever heard of the Desert Colossus? I'm a MOD there, mostly because I visit almost everyday. If we survive this, you should check it out. It would be quite a story to tell the members that we fought Moblins huh?" Leaning against the box, he watched Dogura, who was already clashing with the Moblins. Suddenly, the boy began to cry at what he saw. Not out of sadness, but out of excitement and pride. His samurai was just as awesome as he had created him. With grace and skill, he slew the first Moblin, and was headed for the next three that were closest. Alex again questioned his aim, and didn't want to hurt his creation. Pulling his bow string back, he aimed for the Moblin farthest from Dogura, and let his arrow fly.
The arrow soared pasthis intended target, but only by so small as an inch. Alex cursed his aim, as the Moblin stopped, and turned looking the boy right in the eye. Never had Alex experienced fear like this. It was do or die, and at the rate he was going, it was sure to be option B. Realizing that he was shaking too much, Alex loaded his bow again, and prepared to fire once again at the beast that was now comming down the street. There was no time to waste, especially at the speed it was going. Trucking right over the Anderson's turtle style sprinkler, it was approaching faster than he had ever thought a Moblin could run.
Alex's shirt was soaked in sweat from the humidity that caked the area, combined with the fright he was feeling. To make matters worse, the Moblins showed no sign of fright, or fatigue. Letting another arrow soar, Alex watched in anticipation as the projectile met it's mark! The Moblin was hit right between it's right eye and it's ear. Toppling over, Alex glanced back to Dogura, who was in mid attack. His Shadow Dance of the Willow Wisp was K.O.ing the beats that had triple teamed him! Alex, now thanking God for the idea of the attack, set up for another shot, glancing at Tyler in a nodd of afirmation.

Since Simon didn't get his answers, he summoned(not Inksummoned I might add, just summoned) a stalfoes. He commanded it to assist Bou, who was slaying Moblins left and right. However, his sword got stuck in one of the moblin's rough skill. Orpheous threw a bomberang around at an approaching moblin that was going to hit Bou. He managed to get his sword out just in time to kill the stunned moblin before it hit him. The stalfoes eventually perished, and Simon was to tired to do any more summons, so he decided to do some stat buffing(even though this isn't a stat fight).
Orpheous saw a moblin coming up on the house fast. He slammed his galley oar into it, and sent it flying. However, another approaching moblin disarmed him, and he replied by slamming his sword through the moblin. However, they were coming so fast, he would have to wait to get his galley oar back.

OOC:Sorry, OMG I'm so sorry....couldn't get on yesterday....it's hell week in my play, and we were rehearsing all freaking day...whoo....and I have to leave in an hour and a half, so yeah.....umm....Baka quit.....she says it isn't as fun as it seemed, so she just kinda up and quit
OOC: Enter me, myself, and I.
I don't get it, you only made one character... anyways, I plan on getting myself into here sometime, but probably not for a while, I'm developing a rather funny story on how he got there.
Anyways, wow this picked up really fast...anyways, I hope to do a stat fight sometime throughout this....would that be okay Alex? I've taken a liking to them....dunno why...also, think we can make an event out of this? Because there are a lot of awesome posts so far, this is turning out incredibly well...So, on to making up yesterday in an incredibly long and thorough post man, I missed a lot....so many days of no posts, then I am gone for one and everybody jumps in! Wow...
and thanks about the antics I try.
IC:Saber gazed in wonder as Alex explained this fascinating contraption. After Alex left, he gazed back into the bowl and pulled the lever, starting the whirlpool again. He tried to follow the whirling water with his eyes, his head almost entirely in the bowl, when all the water got sucked in. Looking at it quizically, he tried to figure out where it went, when suddenly it came shooting back out. Taken off guard and dizzy, he leapt up and tripped backwards, falling into a large tub. He sat there for a while, dazed, then heard a loud knock. "MOBLINS!" He yelled, leaping into action.
Dashing into the hall, he froze when he saw it was just another native. He walked up and observed him closely. He was also dressed strangely, but appeared to be the same age as Saber. He nodded in welcome to him and listened to Alex's orders. Moblin killing? Easy. This oughta be a walk in the....ugh... He clutched his stomach as the feeling from before began to creep back.... why is this happening? I shouldn't be nervous about this battle, I can slay a Moblin in a coma....
He sat down on the couch for a brief moment and observed Dogura. He was still on top of his game, it seemed....so why was he feeling so bad? I can't let him show me up like this, I'm gonna hold my own! He stood up and drew his saber, then whooped, trying to make the ill feeling in his stomach go away through bravado. He leaned forward and dashed out through the door, past the broken lawn ornaments and over the pool of vomit, holding his saber straight out behind him. He swung it up over his head as he approached a Moblin, slid sideways, and......fell? His foot felt air where there should have been cement, and he looked down, confused. He saw that there was a change in elevation between the walkway and the road (a curb as we know it), and he fell into the Moblin.
Luckily, the beast had been just as surprised as he was, and wasn't braced for the impact. They went down together, rolling for a bit, then Saber pushed himself off, wincing from the pain the fall had caused him. Why must they make the ground so hard? Not giving the Moblin any time to recover, he kicked the spear out of it's hand and then brought his blade down, the tip of the saber barely skimming the cement and sending some sparks flying as he beheaded the monster.
He turned to face his next opponent, who didn't waste any time in thrusting his deadly spear at Saber. Skipping aside delicately, the mercenary twirled his saber in a graceful arc, lopping off the pointy end of the Moblin's weapon. He brought his arm up again to deliver the final strike when a wave of pain washed over him. He couldn't move for the immense hurting, and it didn't help when the Moblin smacked it's spear-gone-staff across his face. He fell to the ground and lay there, clutching his stomach, as the Moblin scuttled over to pick up the severed spear tip to finish the paralyzed warrior.

OOC: Don't worry Saber, I'll figure out some way to Myself and I in there too. Just give me time.
IC:
Tyler grins widely as he takes up a position next to the kid. "You're one of the TDC mods, huh? Then I'm sure you know I've been writing stuff for the front page ever since Twilight Princess came out." With a blink of his eyes, the teen abruptly realizes that that sounds more than a little prideful. "Of course, I haven't had time for writing stuff for a while . . ." he adds with a laugh. But his smirk is quick to return. 'I'll have plenty to write about after this is all said and done.'
Sighting with the Paintball gun, Tyler gives the kid another look. "So, which of the mods are you? And what's your name, anyway?" He doesn't wait for an answer, though, before turning most of his attention back to the street. The Moblins are now close enough to be a threat, and while the warriors of the group definitely have the experience necessary to beat them, one has to wonder if that'll be enough to finish off their superior numbers. And Saber seems to be the one who will prove his point first and foremost.
As the merc falls before the feet of one of the Moblins, Tyler tries to imagine himself in his RP character's shoes. 'Alpha' deftly lifts the gun upward and aims it as well as he can manage, sighting the Moblin without his body shaking and throwing off his aim like it normally would. 'Well, here goes something . . .' he thinks as the trigger is pulled. The frozen ball of paint is unleashed in a second, darting forward . . . and cracking as it embeds itself in the ground. Looks like this Alpha can't aim as well as his Sheikah counterpart.
Unwilling to allow bad aim to be the cause of Saber's unfortunate demise, Tyler once again pulls the trigger . . . and then again, and again, and again and again. Bullets lash out time and time again until finally one lands directly on target, thudding straight into the Moblin's right arm, disrupting its control of its weapon. Then a second bullet smashes into its face, followed up by a third that hits right where the kid had suggested aiming: its eyeball. Blinded and in intense pain, the Moblin rears back, leaving him perfectly open for any attack that may come its way.
Tyler grins to himself, then starts raining frozen fire down on a line of Moblins advancing towards Dogura, with similar results occurring (minus the original misses). Who'd have thought that beating up on evil creatures from an alternate reality could be so much fun?
