'Always interesting, this cake of theirs . . .' Alpha thinks as he strides up to the monstrosity of sugar, dough, and . . . well, whatever that secret ingredient they put inside the pastry is. Likely only the goddesses know what it is that enriches the cake and gives it such a magical essence; but that hardly matters. At the moment, all the Sheikah cares about is biting into a piece himself and getting that mystical potential transferred into himself.

So he walks up and grabs a piece, oblivious to anyone else around him. He quickly snarfs it down, then hurries to leave the place, already feeling a bit overwhelmed by the crowds gathering in the area.

Not one for large crowds, at least not in this age, Maverick pushed his way through the assembled adventurers (there seemed to be more now than he could recall ever seeing in Hyrule in all his life). There was never a celebration quite so grand in his homeland, and so as a child he had often been brought to neighboring Hyrule for the festivities.

It had been years since those days, and he was now glad to be risking the journey into the courtyard of the kingdom's capital for his piece of cake (which he always remembered as being delicious. Taking his piece, he nodded in thanks to the Knights who had been left behind to guard the city and cut the cake, as well as the large and kindly Quartermaster. Turning quickly, he gobbled the pastry down and burped in joy. Already he felt its incredible flavors surging through his body.

And then he was gone. On his way out of the castle gates he saw Alpha, although the fellow was too far gone to be bothered. Looking back, the Calatian gave a wide smile. It amazed him how the peoples of Hyrule could be so enthusiastic about such a celebration. Celebrating peace in times of war. Maverick was indeed blessed to be living in such difficult but comforting times. As he walked away, a great spectacle of colored light exploded far above the castle town in a majestic display of good cheer. His smile remained as he disappeared into the shadows, returning to his business.

The cake was as large and delicious looking as Kuro remembered it being last year. He walked up at it staring, remembering how good it tasted. His mouth began to water, and he grew impatient. He began to force his way through the crowds. It wasn't hard though, few normal people wouldn't try to avoid a man with three swords, one of which was giant and resting on his shoulder.

Kuro grabbed a plate and greedily took a cake, devouring it sloppily with only his mouth since his hands were full. When he finished, he licked the remains of the cake that were on his face and walked away smiling, feeling empowered by the crazy man's cake.

Having heard the news from her fairy companion, Luna made her way through the crowd to the large pastry. "Celebration time yet again? If there was one thing I missed most about Hyrule during my travels it was the celebrations." She helped herself to a slice, devouring the scrumptious morsel in mere seconds.

With a grin upon his lips and his mouth already salivating, the boy grabbed the slice of cake that was being offered to him with glee. "Don't mind if I do!" - were the words that he let slip, as he looked around for anything remotely similar to a fork. The teenager could hardly restrain his desire to feast upon the pastry he was holding - he had unfortunately missed the Celebration the past year thanks to his travels, and as a result of it, his tastebuds hadn't had the pleasure to meet such a delicacy for quite some time. The Hylian could never forget the flavor of the building-tall cake however, for its smooth yet sweet taste was absolutely unrivaled - never had he eaten any sweet as good as the Celebration Cake.

But now was not a time to think about these things - it was a time to taste these things. As such, finding the item he was searching for in a table besides the cake, the young mage sunk the cutlery in his slice, managing to separate a small piece from the main bit before plunging it into his welcoming maw. Soon enough, what was once a slice of cake was now nothing more than little crumbs... and that TINGLE-ing sensation all over his body from two years ago returned in full splendor; for a moment, the boy felt like he could take on the world with this boost in power. Soon enough, however, that invigorating sensation would be gone, and the Tayro Wind would have returned to fetch yet another slice.

IC: Kagari walked over to the cake. He was more then impressed and he was hungry from the three days of no eating and only training. He took his hand and his dagger and cut a piece out. He took a bite of the delicious cake and then put it in a bag for later. He then walked around town to sight see and to meet someone.
