Darilan wanted to thank Meurnia for healing him, but this was no time for words; they were in danger. For now, a quick nod of thanks would suffice.

Only four left, and one one them didn't look so well. It would be best to put him out of his misery. Shaken by the idea of of killing a person, he struggled to place a pebble in his slingshot. Eberron turned immediately after smashing the thief into a tiny pulp before him. Whether through a suddenly heightened sense of awareness from the adrenaline rush or some insane luck, Eberron leaped out of the way of one of the thieves attacks, smiling cheerfully as the blow swooped through the air in a particularly unsatisfying way. For the thief at least. For Eberron it was quite satisfactory. Raising his fist high, Eberron let out a roar of pre-emptive celebration. Swinging his fist down upon his opponents head, Eberron's muscles bulged as his mighty form swung into action. Moving both his fists one after the other in a flurry of knuckles and palms, Eberron decided to use his new found agility to his advantage, his attacks increasing in wild speed and ferocity as it went on. Hopefully any defence the enemy could put up would be obliterated by the onslaught of the goron's mighty natural weapons of choice.

IC: Simon gasped, as he was struck. Damn that stung. Oh well, he recovered quickly enough, and was soon back on his feet and ready for more action. In his retalation, he readied another spell, this time, an Elemental Burst. Like before, it was shadow.

He extended his open palm which the orb of energy was gathering in, and then he released the burst at Hylian Thief #3 as he yelled, "Elemental Burst - Shadow" [Elemental Burst - Shadow].

Meurina healed the man, and smiled as she watched him run off to fight again. She was glad she was adept at healing magics. However, now, there were still problems, and she had no time to dote on how good it felt to help someone. She turned and looked at the thieves in an angry stare that one wouldn't think possible from someone with such soft eyes. "I'll not have any more fighting here!" She commanded loudly from where she stood. She shifted her stance, and swayed delicately from angle to angle, as if dancing. Her staff began to glow as it previously did, and her dancing took a quicker pace. Suddenly, she swung her staff horizontally, and then brought it around vertically. She ended her deadly dance with a final leap, and landing with a jerking motion. Electricity shot from her glowing staff, and was aimed directly at the thieves that were causing so much trouble. She intended to put an end to this, and now.

Kuro lifted up his sword and stared at the unconscious man before him. His eyes didn't linger long however, as the realization hit him once again that there where still a few thieves left alive--not that they'd last long, though. Kuro looked at each of the enemies and raised his sword again. He lunged at thief #3 and slashed towards his collarbone, hoping he would be taken out, and the temple's money would be safe.

"The number of enemies has dwindled." Kasei said, turning toward his nearest opponent, [Human Thief #5] as he watched the performances of others. The Rebel Flame lifted his sword, and let his fiery powers fill it. And he swung, letting lose a blade of fire that shot outwards towards his human opponent. FIRE

OOC: Meh, it's a fight post; I know how hard they can be to write. Just as long as you're putting forth an honest effort.

Darlian managed to strike his targeted thief between the eyes, and with enough force to send him slumping to the ground, unconscious.

Meanwhile, Eberron's punch has no trouble smacking the fifth Hylian thief; an unpleasant crunching sound told everyone that his nose was broken. Infuriated, the Hylian tried to live up to the saying, "An eye for an eye," but failed to sink his dagger into the Goron's tough skin.

Simon's Shadow Elemental Burst successfully hits the Hylian, who managed to take the full brunt of the spell instead of dodging it. [26 DMG] Any hope of retaliation, however, is squashed instantly.

Meurina's Thunder spell dealt complete damage across the board, knocking them all down, making Kuro and Kasei's attacks rather pointless.

However, it doesn't take them long to regain consciousness. Their once confident faces were now covered in looks of terror. They were quick to scramble up to their feet and run away, screaming wordlessly at the top of their lungs.

Adelaide looked at each of the people who came to her and Aria's aid. "Thank you for your help," she said with a large smiled on her face. Aria nodded in agreement as she bent down to slip her feet back into her boots. "May the Goddesses bless you. May I have your names so I may pray for your safety?"

We probably shouldn't take too long to wrap this up, so let's get in some final posts.

Eberron smiled cheerfully at the words of gratitude. It was a nice feeling, helping people out.

"Oh, I'm Eberron thank you miss."

His smile growing to a slightly manic grin, Eberron scratched his head nervously and gave a small bow, unsure of what impression to make... It was always so difficult to work out how to address people properly.

"And I'm just glad that so many of us were around to help! I'd spend your time praying for someone else though, I look after myself and the goddesses seem to be nice enough to me in sending luck and food on my travels."

At this, Eberron glanced down guilty, his face hidden beneath his large wooden hat as he moved to lift his gear back up onto his back where it belonged, muttering under his breath.

"Though I really should find a way of remembering names and thanking them more... I hope they understand."

"And I am Darilan," the Cleric said. He watched the thieves run away in fear. He hoped they didn't do any permanent damage to them. It was a good thing they survived; all people deserve a chance to redeem themselves, he thought. Maybe this would be their opportunity, since they had been shown that thievery is a dangerous business.

Meurina gasped, and brought her hands to her mouth. "Oh dear! I've sinned! Nayru forgive me!" She felt a gentle breeze sweep across her body, and calm her mind. If that wasn't Nayru's forgiveness, then Meurina wouldn't know what was. She calmed down, and stepped over the bodies of the men, making her way to Adelaide.

"They'll be alright... The shock wasn't enough to stop their hearts and kill them. I apologize for your troubles, we normally never see bandits around these parts." She swept a strand of hair from her eyes, and put a hand on her hip. "My name is Meurina, and I'm glad I could help, violent as it was..." She trailed off, and turned to look at the inanimate bodies of the thieves. "Serves them right though... Stealing from the church."

She sat down on the edge of the fountain, and ran her hand through the crystal clear waters. With a smile, she looked back to Adelaide. "Someone should inform the guards of what happened here today. These men need to be taken into custody. I have priestly duties to attend to. If you need my help with anything, be sure to let me know." With a gentle wave goodbye, she stood up, and began walking back to the church.
