Nodding once more and stepping further into Fassix's dorm, Victor resisted the sudden urge to touch the various 'research' strewn around the room. Making it to the table without disobeying the man's command, the Bard sat down in the first available seat and waited...

Alpha cautiously steps through the doorway, astounded by what he sees lying there. "Very impressive," he mutters to himself as he quickly gazes over the walls and devices. His eyes are entranced by what is obviously years of research and tests throughout the room. “Very impressive,” he says again, somewhat louder this time. He makes sure to not touch anything, but his eyes make sure to analyze every detail, every device, every paper that they see. He stores them in his memory, to try to sort through at a later time...provided that he can remember all of this. He finally arrives at the table and sits, waiting anxiously for Fassix to begin. 'What does he know about wraiths, I wonder? And...does he know about Wraith...?'

Fassix sits in the remaining seat and leans in closer to his guests, twirling a pencil in his fingers as he speaks. His tone is hushed; he must be confiding in Victor in Alpha with a great amount of trust. Odd, however, due to the three men only having been acquainted a moment ago.

So, you want to know what I know about wraiths? Absolutely nothing! My research has little to do with ghosts; I have been studying a man called Wraith. My supervisor, Vic, has informed me that this fellow can bring us closer to finding the Bright Dark. It's... a special technique that we can use to eliminate the Intelligent Ones and their Cursed minions. Wolfeye put Vic, myself, Astor and Tess in charge of this project. It's a secret one, for now.

Vic found out about some guy called "Wraith" and linked the character back to our research. I have been tasked with the opportunity to research the topic of such a man, for it has become apparent that "Wraith" is a vital clue in the attainment of the Bright Dark.

Fassix then turns to Victor, nodding silently and observing the Hylian bard.

So, you must be Victor, the newcomer. You share the same name as our supervisor. Irrelevant, but interesting nonetheless. Well, do you two know anything about the "Wraith?"

Alpha retains control of his emotions, but only through a powerfully useful technique Master Zaris had unknowingly taught him when he had first begun his training: letting his mind wander. His appearance would have him seem to be fascinated by this 'Wraith', while in fact his mind is screaming in shock. 'ME!?! How am I supposed to help them? I've never even heard of this 'Bright Dark' before today!' He slowly ponders it some more. 'Well...maybe it's just one of my everyday techniques, and they're calling it by a different name.' Regardless, he's glad that no one else, especially Victor has ever heard him be called by the name of 'Wraith' (OOC: That's right, Victor, Blank, everybody - nobody was close enough to me and Zaboorak when he called me that. Even Zaris didn't catch it. Okay? Okay. ).

"Unfortunately," Alpha says before Victor can speak, "I can't help you with any person called 'Wraith'." He inwardly chuckles at the statement; it is true - he can't help. Mostly because he refuses to help, but the point still stands. "But perhaps if you explained a bit more about this Bright Dark, I could be of at least some assistance. I've traveled all over the world; maybe I've heard of the technique by a different name."

Fassix sighs as the Sheikah dictates what seems to be less than an understanding on the subject at hand. He shakes his head, wondering if he should have told his guests about the kinds of research he has been taking part in. When Alpha asks if the Bright Dark has ever been called by another name, Fassix merely casts the idea away with a laugh.

Ha! What did I tell you? This research is highly confidential. Unless you have been to some uncharted kingdom that no one has heard of, it is unlikely that anyone has heard of it. This organization spans to many races of the world; there are few countries that we do not hold a representative of. We would have found out about it by now of inhabitants of these lands did know something. But... it is unfortunate.

The man leans back in his chair and adopts an exasperated atmosphere to his tone and actions.

Well, thanks for nothing. You two have been useless as far as this goes. If you think you can help out in any way, you might want to check in with Astor on the fifth floor, Tess on the seventh floor and or Vic on the third floor. Now get out, I have research to do.

OOC: Just as a fun fact, I tallied up the number of members that would be needed to get 3 members on floors 2-15, plus 6 leaders, plus Victor and Alpha. 50 organization members in total. Even I'm surprised :p

Alpha sighs. Every part of his being wants to stay and look at all the research Fassix has assembled - and especially to know exactly how much the organization knows about his former life as Wraith. But he can see it would be pointless to argue with the man. He nearly forgets to file the names away as his stands up, annoyed. "Very well then," he says with an angered edge in his voice. He marches over to the doorway and swings it open.

Without even waiting for Victor, the Sheikah takes a step through the door...and stops. Without looking back, his angered voice reemerges from beneath his hood. "He was called 'Wraith' because he could fade into deeper shadows than the forces of darkness could even comprehend. He could avoid being seen or noticed at any time he wanted. He could have walked into your very room, sat and talked with you, and you would have never known it."

Without thinking, he turns back to face Fassix, anger completely blinding him to the fact that he has revealed the one trait of Wraith that has become most well known. When he had fled His courts, it had been the detail that He had given to His army, as well as the numerous bounty hunters He had sent to find Wraith. To anyone who knows anything about Wraith - which, still, is a very small number of people - the shining scar on Alpha's face is a dead giveaway. And with the organization seeking to destroy all traces of evil, it is something that could make them all try to kill him. For He had certainly been a great force of evil.

Alpha turns and continues his walk into the hall.

Victor was thoroughly confused by the whole conversation with Fassix, and couldn't help scratching his head throughout the meeting. When Alpha got up to leave, obviously angry, the Bard is even more confused, but assumes that the Sheikah's anger is at Fassix's rudeness. Glancing back at Fassix for a second, he then ran out of the dorm to catch up with Alpha.

Victor decided not to say anything about the meeting itself, which had obviously miffed him. If he wanted to talk about, then Alpha would start the conversation. Instead, the Bard asked a simple question.

"Where do you want to go now?"

Alpha merely keeps walking, annoyance still showing on his face - and scar still glowing bright. Suddenly he just wants to be away from Fassix, and for more reasons than just that he's annoyed. If Fassix figures out that he's Wraith...actually, Alpha is kind of shocked that the man hasn't come charging after him already. With a shrug, his voice emerges again. "I don't know! You're the one who knows about this place, Victor - you take the lead."

OOC: Really, Blank, I'm kinda surprised you didn't do anything with that. I was looking forward to having Fassix chase me or something...oh well, somebody missed their chance, I guess...

The door closes, leaving Fassix alone in his dormitory. His face carries a speechless impression, and as Alpha and Victor are lost from his sight, he jumps up from his chair and pounds a fist on his research, giggling to himself like a small child in satisfaction and surprise. He grins, staring at the exit of his room.

Astor and Tess will never believe this. Vic was right; to think that the man we need would so readily waltz right into our sights. Yes... welcome to our humble abode, Victor and Wraith.

OOC: Now really, who gives chase in this day and age?

OOC: Sorry I took so long, guys. Things have been surprisingly hectic...

IC: A look of weariness crossing Victor's face, he sighed and looked longingly up the steps.

"I don't know... I'm kind of tired. Why don't you go exploring on your own? You know, get to know some people I haven't yet. Meanwhile, I'm going up to take a nap...."

Yawning heavily before waving Alpha good bye, the Bard trudged upstairs towards his floor and his dormitory. Finding his door, he entered his room and collapsed once more on the soft bed, instantly falling into a deep slumber thanks to the day's tiring activities...

OOC: Well, I'm leaving on my eleven day trip tomorrow, but I didn't want to leave Alpha stuck in a position where he couldn't post while I was gone. So I figure that, this way, Alpha can go exploring on his own without me tagging along. See you guys in eleven days!

Alpha sighs, forcing the last of his angered tone from his voice. "Very well, Victor. Have a good nap, I suppose." He watches the bard walk back upstairs and immediately turns away. He certainly does feel like exploring...but he's tired of being around so many people. His scar glows a deep violet color as a passage to the Void opens. Seconds later, he finds himself standing at the crossroads between the four districts, trying to figure out which one he should attempt to gain access to first. Unconsciously, he hopes whichever one he picks has some of those 'Cursed Ones', and maybe even an Intellegent One.

The heavy mist from before surrounds the bridge, obscuring Alpha's sight and hindering sense of direction. The wall of thick white fog rises very far up in the cavern, and the castle can not be seen from this point. Virtually every landmark, surrounding and significant sight are lost in the underground haze. The Sheikah will have no way of knowing which District he ends up in.

Alpha's senses stretch out as the mist slowly falls upon the area, and a smile slowly stretches across his face. 'Mist...a rather ominous sign. I like it. Maybe my luck will lead me to an Intellegent One after all...it'd be nice to see exactly how 'ugly' they are!' He quietly walks over the bridge and turns, walking on through the mists to the Northwest, unknowlingly following in Victor's earlier footsteps.

OOC: I just had to do that; you gotta love irony. I'm going where Victor's gone, hoping to fight what he fought. ...okay, so his fight was more mental...but still!

The Sheikah arrives at the canyon that connects the shattered remnants of the Training District to the center of the colossal cavern. The mist here is not as thick as it was in the previous sector, nor does it encase Alpha in its hazy, clouded cage. It is as easy for one to navigate as a smoke-filled tavern would be. An occasional stumble is in order for an adventurer whose wits are not about them, but Alpha should not have much trouble finding his way to the Town Square of the Training District.

This area feels much colder than the bridge did. There are a variety of distant hisses, snarls and moans in every direction, but they do not pose an immediate threat. Just to be sure, the mage had best prepare himself for an encounter.

Alpha is always prepared for an encounter, even when he is among friends and allies. And at this point, it is obvious to him that he has left both behind. The area seems barren of any and all traces of good, reminding him of his days both with Master Zaris and as Wraith.

The Sheikah draws his cape further around him as he steps over a rock that a casual wanderer would have certainly tripped on, sensing the evil all around him. With the blue light of his shining scar covered by his hood, Alpha walks further into the Training District. His only wonders if there is any intellegent life anywhere nearby, or if it is merely the normal creatures of darkness. Either way, his staff is ready, his spells are prepared...and the path to the Void is waiting to be opened if necessary.
