The fifteen year old tapped his fingers rhythmically against the classy table's surface as he sighed again. This definitely isn't the most efficient way to get around...although it's better than walking....
He leaned back and reflected on the flurry of events that had led up to this trainride across the nation as he rubbed his hand through his brown, medium-length hair, his other hand resting in the large pocket of his brown Element Skate sweatshirt. His purple Babe Ruth baseball cap rested on his backpack, and his jean pockets were crammed with food, and equipment he usually took to an airsoft war.
It had all started yesterday. It was a normal morning, he was pouring a bowl of cereal when his mother called him from the living room. Poking his head in, he noticed she was watching the news. Probably another shooting somewhere...people are so messed up today... He went back into the kitchen when a bit of the anchorman's report caught his attention."....we've been told that these creatures resemble several types of enemy from the popular video game series The Legend of Zelda..."
Slowly, he walked back into the room and listened to the report. Tons of Moblins everywhere, and he thought he saw a wolfos or two running around as well. The camera was panning over New York, observing the chaos. Suddenly, it's view was blocked by another monster--a tektite. It's big, single eye blinked once, then it leaped forward and, after a shocked scream, the newstation lost contact with the reporter.
He looked back at his mother in shock--she returned the look, as they were both fans of the Zelda series. What shocked him even more was what he had thought he had seen a moment before the camera was destroyed. He gulped. "Mom...give me the remote..." She just stared at him for a while, then did as he requested. Picking up the device, he pressed rewind, then paused after a bit. There! Right after the tektite jumped, there was something. He leaned forward and looked closer.
There were a bunch of slain Moblins all over the street, and a few people were running away. One of them was a boy his age, and he looked familiar....He had seen his picture on MySpace....Alex? Then, a little more ways away, two more figures...one carrying the other...they didn't look of this world, but much older....purple hair? One had purple hair? That didn't make sense... Wait. Alex. Zelda Veteran. His character....no way....
He turned his attention to the carried warrior. He....looked like him? The man's hair was longer though, and he was wearing a tunic....and had a sword? "It can't be...Mom...I need to ask you a favor...." he said as he looked away from the television screen for the first time in minutes. "I need to go to New York."
_____________
Pain.....unimaginable pain.....head.....stomach.....lungs.....what is this...? Am I dying.....? No.....I am feeling....better. Slightly...I can....can I move? Slowly, he gained his vision...He looked around and took in the new surroundings. Everything was so...white. So clean and shiny....it hurt....he closed his eyes again. The reflective surfaces were just worsening the headache. Then he heard it.
A beautiful melody coming from the side. It echoed in the hallway and surrounded him, and as he listened to it his aches and pains seemed to heal somewhat. Opening his now adjusted eyes as the song came to an end, he gave Dogura a weak smile. "I knew you could fight, didn't know you could sing as well. Where is everyone else?"

OOC: First off, let me apologize for my absence. As some of you already know, I recently moved. Of course you're porbably wondering why I was offline so much. It wasn't the move, but more the fact that our supplier "Time Warner" haden't moved into the district yet. Well, the TimeWarner man came back this morning, and hooked us all up. Now I have to ask you Orpheus, are you going along with ANYTHING thats going on here? And that was pretty cool Saber, does your mom really like Zelda, or did you just need a ride to New York? XD Also I didn't find Ha2 until long after the Towers fell. This is a little time warped okay?
IC: The man stared directly at Alex and Tyler, eyeing the two. He approached the two, his motives unknown. Taking a step back, Alex made a gesture to run. "STOP WHERE YOU ARE!!" The man shouted, raising a hand. The man had a booming voice that made the young teen freeze. "You musn't enter those towers!" Alex sighed. "Look buddy, I don't know who you are, or where the hell you came from, but those Towers are where we need to be right now. Alex went to push past the man blocking their way, but he stood firm as a statue. "Listen, I'll explain everything, but you absolutely cannot enter those towers!!" Alex seemed annoyed at this point. "Listen! I don't need an explaination!! My creation is in there, and so is a good friend of mine's. I have to catch up to them and make sure they're okay!"
Alex got around him, and motioned for Alpha to follow. "NOO!! Wait! You musn't!! They're going to..." His voice faded as the duo left him behind. Alex neared the trade center, looking around at the terror in the streets. Everything seemed to slow down for a moment. Alex's adrenaline must have been kicking because everything seemed slow-motion. Entering the building, Alex looked around the first floor. Nothing abnormal, just a flight of stairs and an elevator. "Alpha, lets take the elevator to the 10th floor and work our way down. We're sure to find them faster that way. The boy pressed the elevator button, and leaned against the wall waiting for the shuttle to make it's way down. Suddenly, a noice erupted, and made all who were in earshot cringe.
the sound of shattering glass.
Alex whirled around, and noticed something that made his spine tingle. A wolfos was clawing its way in the building, howling like mad. It seemed to be caught in the window framing, but it wouldn't hold for long. It kicked its legs and clawed at the framing gnashing in attempts to free itself. Alex turned around, and pressed the button several more times, his heart pumping so loud he could hear it over the snarls of the creature. the stainless steel doors finally opened, welcoming the two teens. "Alpha, get in, NOW!!" Pulling himself in, he immediately began pressing the first button his eyes landed on: The button for the 3rd floor. As the doors began sliding closed, the Wolfos freed itself, and made a mad dash for the elevator, only to smack his claws into the steel door. The elevator music began playing, which did everything but calm the boy. Nothing at this point could slow his heart-rate. Never had he been so close to death. He sighed, and glanced at Alpha as he let his head hit the wall of the elevator...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dogura stopped the song, and turned to see Saber, who was regaining his senses. Dogura smiled, and rested his head on the wall. "Thankyou... And Alex, his friend, and the others should be on their way here as we speak. We were to head here first, because its the largest building in the town, and the chances of us spotting the portal from atop the structure would be better than average." As Dogura stared at the ceiling, he thought back to a simpler time. "Saber... Did you ever know your parents? This may sou7nd rather weak of me... but I dearly miss my mother and father..." A tear rolled down the samurai's cheek, as he remembered the day he left his mother at home. "I should have stayed there... I shouldn't have left her all alone... I should have honored my father's last wish, and took care of her...." Sniffing a bit, Dogura rubbed his tears away, and revealed his normal cold stern face. "But thats not important now. As soon as you feel ready, we should climb the rest of these stairs.
OOC: I'll give Alpha and Saber a little time to catdch up before I proceed any further.

Saber gazed at Dogura in wonder. Here was one of the strongest warriors he had ever known, crying...and...he could relate...Saber stared down at the floor and his eyes began to water as well. "Yes...I remember them very clearly...and...that's what fuels me." He looked back up, a line across his cheek where a tear had run just moments before. "I couldn't do anything to help them...and I don't want any other child to have to deal with the loss I felt." He wiped his eyes and brushed his hair aside, trying to assess his condition.
His stomach still felt a bit wierd, but the sharp pain was gone, and he could probably bear climbing to the top...his head was clearer, his vision back to normal..."Yes, let's get going then." He said as he stood, rising slowly so as not to agitate his stomach. He shifted his weight from foot to foot. Everything felt fine there, just a few sore spots from his collisions with the ground. Besides, he thought to himself, the sooner I get up there, the sooner I can get out of this hellhole and back to the clear, open air of Hyrule...
OOC: Yes, my Mom actually does play Zelda.

OOC: Well, Matt is following Alpha and Alex, and Orpheous, Simon, and Bou are all on the second floor of the Trade Centers, because they lost track of Saber and Dogura.
IC: "But that is who you are, Orpheus(note:he changed his name to Orpheous to escape his past life, his old name was Orpheus)," continued the girl. Orpheous spoke again, "It is impossible, I have changed."
"No you have not," replied the girl, whose figure was shape-shifting. It was really a Gilph. A Gilph is a creature that manifests itself from some process in a human's mind. Once the first Gilph was manifested, it was able to reproduce asexually. It could multiply it's form by multiplying the goo that forms it. It is goo that can harden into any shape, and un-harden whenever it pleases. It's arm transformed to a blade, and swung at Orpheous, still the thing was invisble to Simon, must be cloaked. Orpheous dodged the blade, and swung his sword at it. It cut straite through goo, until it was half way into the body. The body hardened around it and the blade got stuck in it. Orpheous swung another sword strait down the middle, as to get out the first sword. As he suspected the beast turned to goo, and he pulled out the first sword.
Orpheous pulled out a gun and attempted to shoot it's solid form, but the goo's refleces were too fast. Orpheous threw a sword at it, but it just went straite through. Then, he summoned the sword, with magic, back to him. The sword passed straite through the solid body of the Gilph, and it became unconcious. He contained the goo in some bags that he would keep for latter to research.
"What was that about?" asked Simon.
"Cloaked Gilph," replied Orpheous.

"Wait up," called Matt, as he, too, had gotten past the man. However, he was far behind the others. He finally did reach the tower, but it was too late, the others were out of sight. However, a wolfos wasn't. Wait, as he entered the tower, he saw an elevator closing at the other end. "Dang it," with his sword still in hand, he began to work steadly on the wolfos....

OOC: Um . . . no, I didn't forget about this . . . not at all . . .
IC:
Alpha quickly follows after ZV, having to run to keep up despite his long legs normally being more than enough for him to match another person's pace. "Alex! Woah, calm down buddy," he says, wondering what it was that had gotten him so frustrated with that man. As the final warning of the strange elderly man tries to reach Alpha's ears - but unfortunately he fails to hear the last, probably most important, part - he looks back. "That guy didn't seem like he was going to hurt us, you know . . . maybe we should've heard him out just in case," he adds with a shrug. With a chuckle, he appends one last line to his words. "Oh well, too late now I guess." He glances behind him, hoping that that Matt kid is able to keep up with Alex now.
Upon entering into the trade center, Alpha glances around for a moment, gazing at the wondrous place he's found himself this time, until Alex directs him towards the elevators. That's right, they need to meet up with Dogura and the other HA2 guys pretty soon. Suddenly a new noise runs through his ears, the sound of glass being torn apart and sprinkling its fragments all over the ground. Turning back to face whatever it was, he finds himself looking straight at the fangs of a Wolfos. 'A REAL WOLFOS!!!' his fanboy side shouts one more time before his realistic side seizes control of his legs.
Diving into the elevator, he whirls around with paintball gun in one hand and his sword drawn in the other. It's only about three feet in length, not a real sword at all, but it looks somewhat sharp, and at the end is a rather pointy point that should be able to poke an eye out with little or no trouble. He's ready just in case the Wolfos reaches them before the elevator can get going, but heaves a sigh of relief and leans up against the back wall as it starts up. "Well, that was a little too close," he mutters, glancing up to see they're heading for floor number three.

Dogura nodded. "We'll just have to keep trying Saber." Dogura stood up, new found ambition in his heart. "You think you can walk? If you need a lift, just let me know." Dogura awaited the mercenary to stand; however, he wouldn't have long to wait before something else caught his attention. The 'ding' of the elevator reaching its stop, scared the hell out of the samurai, and had obviously put him on guard. He stood with his sword drawn to the opening elevator doors, only to let his sights rest on Alex and Tyler. Alex's eyes lit up. "Well! That was easier than I thought it would be!" Dogura smiled warmly, and sheathed his sword. The sound it made pained the samurai's ears. Rather than the clean sound rhat it normally made, it was a scratchy sound, like fingernails to a chalk board. He glanced down at his sheathed sword. It needed a good sharpening, but he was far from home. Thats when it struck him. "Alex... How are we going to get back home?"
Alex froze for a moment, and scratched his head with a big smile. "Umm... I'm still working out the kinks on that one..." The samurai sort of exploded on the inside. He had completely stopped. He had stopped moving, blinking, breathing. He had just stopped as if he were trapped in an infinate void; which is exactly what was happening. "You mean to say... That we might not make it back to Hyrule?" Alex looked at the floor, and nodded. "B-b-but hey! We'll find a way! R-right Tyler?" He nudged his friend, obviously hoping for assistance. Being caught in Dogura's glare was a near fainting experience for the boy, and he backed against the wall. Dogura closed his eyes, and glanced at Saber, and then back to Alex. "Do you realize that Saber... no, all of us foreigners could die here in this land?" It was all suddenly comming to Alex's attention. They really could die! They're not just imaginary people anymore... they're very very real. I have to do something... but what can I do? I'm just a 15 year old kid!
Alex turned his head to the right, and closed his eyes. "Alright. I'm sure we can find a portal if we just follow through with the original plan. Lets get to the top of this building." Alex was about to say more, when the elevator dinged again. Alex's stomach sank to his left leg. Could the wolfos have been that smart?! Alex turned only to see a sweaty old man step out. He leaned against the elevator wall, obviously out of breath. "Oh no, not you again!" Alex called out, standing up in a fighting position. "You got something against me old man?" The man held up a hand as if to surrender. "Now hold on just a minute..." *wheeze* *hack* Finally the man stood up, and cleared his throat. "We're all in terrible danger here!" Alex rolled his eyes. "No kidding Einstein, there are monsters everywhere. C'mon guys, lets go." The man was far quicker than anyone would have suspected. He was standing in the way of the stairs. "Please, just listen!" Alex eyed the man, as if trying to decide. "...Alright, you got 2 minutes, start explaining." The old geezer nodded thankfully and began.
"On this very day: September 11th, there will be a pilot high in the sky. He's a lazy one, and so he had it set to Auto-pilot. Monsters are ravaging New York right now. They will break into the air port, and mess with everything they find. The auto pilot will go looney, and he's going to crash into this very building, at around this exact moment!" Alex took a step back bewildered. "Y-you can't be serious! How could you know all this?! Are you a terrorist?" The man looked sternly at the boy. "I am you 60 years in the future." At this point, the boy was dazed, and confused. "This can't be happening..." A symphony began playing in his head, as he back up to the wall, hitting his head on the trim. "I- you.. This is just..." The old man walked over to the window near Alex, and opened it. "The boy needs fresh air." Dogura's eyes widened at the sound of chittering. "Close that window!!" The old man cocked an eyebrow. "What?" Suddenly, keese began flodding in through the window. Before the man could jam the window shut, at least 13 keese were fluttering around the room, 6 already on Alex's nearly unconcious body. "Get off of him!" The old man rushed over to the boy, trying desperately to free the boy from the Keese's grip. "Stop it! Stop it right now! Help!"
OOC: You guys got your work cut out for you. Right now, naggatha wants me to post in a certain chapter so I'll have Dogura attack next time I post.

Alex wrote:"B-b-but hey! We'll find a way! R-right Tyler?"
Alpha pulls away ever so slightly from Alex as the kid tries to get reassurance from him. 'How the heck should I know?!' he wonders mentally . . . before pausing as an embarrassed look comes over his features. 'Sorry Dogura,' he adds to his mental voice, remembering that the samurai has some pretty impressive telepathic abilities. 'We'll do whatever we can, but I can't promise anything,' he concludes his thoughts with. Although . . . well, it's a long shot, but if need be he can probably RP Alpha or Shada finding a portal or something and opening it up so that Dogura and them can return. That might work . . .
And suddenly the old man reappears from the elevator, calling out for them to listen to what he has to say. With the paintball gun still in hand in case the guy decides to try something, Alpha ponders for another few seconds. 'Say, that old man came out of a portal . . . maybe he's some sort of wizard. He might be able to get them back home . . .' Of course, not even the teenager, the lover of science fiction that he is, could have predicted the truth: ZV, from sixty years in the future.
"A time traveler!" Alpha cries, his fanboy side being exposed once again before he can possibly hope to hide his reaction. As Alex falters, the teenager reaches out to catch him should he fall to the floor, but instead he finds his way over to the wall and leans beside it. As Elder Alex opens up the window, Dogura's shout reaches his ears a mere moment before the swarm of Keese flood through the window and begin their attack.
The paintball gun swiftly switches hands, and the fingers of his right grip the hilt of his sword, drawing it out from its metal sheath as quickly as Alpha can. Glancing around the room, the human surveys his options of attack. Not completely trusting his abilities with the sword, he probably should avoid trying to attack the six already on Alex. Even though they pose the greatest threat, Dogura can take care of them with a much less chance of harming ZV in the process. So, instead he leaps skyward, his over six foot frame and long legs propelling him to a fair height as he swings his blade towards one of the still airborne Keese.
Once he hits the ground, he rolls to the left into a kneeling position. Twirling around, he fires the paintball gun off at any Keese that might have been stupid enough to pursue him.

Saber smiled and nodded back to Dogura--He felt rejuvenated somehow. "I think I'll manage..." He grunted as he pushed himself up with his sheathed saber. He shook his head with a sigh. "How they can stand to live in such a place is beyond me--I can't believe how hard it is to breathe..." His thoughts then drifted back to the nausea he had been feeling ever since Alex had ran up to his mercenary booth so many days ago. No, that was today. Has it really been such a short time...? He decided to voice his worries about his health to his samurai ally. "I'm not sure why, but my stomach has been--"
He was abruptly cut off by the loud, foreign dinging noise. He immediately crouched and drew his saber, his sheath flying to his hand at the same time as he whirled to face the opposite way as Dogura. What kind of magic is that? Surely some mage is trying to-- Then he heard a whoosh behind him and his eyes snapped open. On instinct, he dove to the side, not wanting to be hit by and Elemental Burst or whatever this attack was. He came up pivoting on one foot to face the source of the noise, and saw that a shiny section of the wall had vanished, and behind it's original location was the rest of the group.
He sighed and slumped forward, sheathing his blade slowly. He was relieved that they hadn't been ambushed, but he was kinda hoping they were--Dogura had gotten all the action last time, and he needed to even things out. If only he hadn't passed out...He shook his head to clear his thoughts, and brushed his hair out of his gleaming brown eyes, glad that everyone had made it safely--He didn't want to return to Hyrule and have to explain all by himself what had happened to famous heroes like Orpheous and Dogura--He would be locked up, accused of murder and lunacy for talking of such a strange hellhole as Yoo-Ess.
Then Dogura's question brought painful questions of his own to mind. What if none of them returned? If five warriors of Hyrule suddenly disappeared, what sorts of aftereffects would it have? None of them could be allowed to die here--it would mess with the natural order, something that he was certain should never be messed with. Heck, they were already pushing the envelope by being in Yoo-Ess in the first place. The fact that Alex was just as dumbfounded as he was didn't help anything--He was almost angry at the child. However...it was just as much his fault as the child's. He didn't need to accept the job, and at least he thought it was real as apposed to Alex thinking it was a dream.
There must be another portal somewhere! He thought, no, commanded. He may not have any control over events still unfolded, but it was nice to have positive thoughts. Unless the Goddesses disapproved--He tended to have their favor, and he wasn't too eager to lose it. Oh well...
When the foreign sound met his ears yet again, he drew his blade and crouched out of instinct, then chided hiself as he remembered what had happened last time. Although, he thought worriedly, biting his lip, We don't have any more friends! So who is this?!? When the old man crawled out of the disappearing wall--He still couldn't get over the fact that it just slid out of sight--He just stared skeptically. Who is this man? Why is he so....bizarre? Even for a citizen of Yoo-Ess he seems strange... As the old man unraveled his apparent knowledge of the tragic future, Saber felt like his jaw was going to drop. Then the old man revealed he was Alex, and his jaw really did drop. He stood there, staring blankly as the old man opened the window, not remembering the dangers of the outside world until Dogura shouted his warning.
When the Keese invaded, Saber was ready. He took a running leap into the air, swinging his sheath around by the window before it was shut, hoping to knock a Keese or two back out. As he landed, he decided to try and scare them off with one move. He focused all his magical energy into the palm of his hand, creating a small ball of fire which floated just above his skin. He was breaking out in sweat--Magic wasn't his thing, he could barely manage a fire spell--He thrusting it towards the bats but not releasing it--after all, no reason to set the whole place on fire or risk burning his allies. Hopefully they would be afraid of fire...
OOC: Yes, Saber really doesn't know about their tendency to ignite themselves. He hasn't spent much time with the spell and hasn't experienced how they react with flames.
Also, I just realized, if we're there on 9/11, the towers were destroyed in the morning...so it should have already been destroyed...plus wouldn't the place be full and not empty? It was a workday after all...ah well..alternate history is fine...

Slayed, the wolfos was undoubtedly dead. It had been impaled in the stomach with long and shiny blade. Matt's blade. The crimson blood was everywhere. "Well, that takes there of that," stated Matt, who had sweat dipping down his face. He had definitely gotten out of practice. It had been awhile since he visited the Zega Moon Realm. He quickly got out his head set before he was surprised by other foul beasts. It was a set of ear phones with a microphone that came out of the head strap. There was a wire that came off the bottom that went into his pocket. The reason he got it out was because he had a suspicion. "Hey Alex (note: Matt has a friend named Alex), could you get me visual of the portal that Orpheous and the rest of them walked through from when it appeared to when it closed? Also, when you give me the clip, fast forward unless I say otherwise, please.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The room was hot, very hot. The faint hum of a fan could be heard in the back round. A young twenty year old peered through his glasses and untidy brown hair at his high-def computer screen. He built his computer his self, and it was above the normal top of the line computer a rich person would have. It was about equal to the top of the line government computer. This man was an extremely hacker, and he was good at programming computer programs. This man was Alex Wains, Matt Wittherson's closest friend. He was watching and listening to reports on these monsters that many claimed to be from the Legend of Zelda Series. They were wreaking havoc on New York City. After listening to ones person's account, a nerd who was listening stated, "That must have been an Iron Knuckle." Alex Wains responded to the computer screen as though the nerd could here him. "You are an idiot, that was clearly a Darknut." Suddenly he heard a "Hey Alex," on his head set, so he put it on. The voice of Matt Witterson continued,"could you get me visual of the portal that Orpheous and the rest of them walked through from when it appeared to when it closed? Also, when you give me the clip, fast forward unless I say otherwise, please."
After hacking into a security camera of a store across from the portal, he told Matt to put his sunglasses on. Matt complied. They had a wire that went down to his pocket as well. Alex sent him the visual. About three-fourths of the way through, Matt told Alex to stop. A figure was walking through the portal. He asked for the image to become clearer, and Alex managed his best. The face was perfectly clear. However, neither of them recognized the man. However, they did notice that he didn't look like he had good intentions. Matt thanked Alex, and ended the conversation. He noticed that the read out on the elevator read that it had went to floor three. Matt got in the elevator and started up. The elevator door opened to a scene of multiple keeses attacking Alex, with the others trying to get them off. He rushed at one and slashed at it with his straight sword.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Orpheous, Bou, and Simon realized that the elevator was moving up. Actually, it was moving up for the second time. The previous one reached the third floor, and that is where the second one was heading as well. The three rushed up the stairs to see the elevator open. Matt stepped out, and slashed at a keese that was attack Alex, everybody else was trying to get the keeses of as well. Simon gave the other to enhancement spells, as Bou went for 3 keeses, and Orpheous sent for 2, both were using scimitars.

OOC: Of course, but then again, monsters from another realm hadn't attacked on 9/11 either
IC: In a flurry of attacks, and commotion the keese were nothing more than a pile of dead matter. Even Tyler, one not strengthened with the experience of previous battles had managed to destroy on of them. He could proudly go home and say that he has slain a keese. It would seem that future Alex and Dogura had succeeded at ridding the keese from present Alex. The keese were destroyed, and peace was restored to the room. Dogura knelt down to Alex's level, and stared into the boy's dazed eyes. "Alright boy, try this." He handed him a small clear bottle filled with a red liquid. "Kool-aid?" Alex had just realized how thirsty he was, and snatched the bottle from the samurai.
After taking a few big gulps, he spewed the liquid all over the once open window. Making a horrified face, Alex stared at the bottle in disgust, and handed it back to Dogura. "What the hell is that stuff?" He cried out, scraping his tongue with his shirt. Dogura smiled, and put the bottle away. "Its called a red potion, and I picked it up at a shop in North Castle. I see you're feeling better." The teenager stopped, and thought for a moment. I really do feel better... He thought, staring at his hands. He was standing, and he was no longer dizzy. I feel even stronger! He thought closing his hands, and staring at Dogura. "Hey... Thanks for tricking me." The samurai smiled, and ruffled the boy's hair. "Anytime."
At that moment, future Alex interjected. "Anytime but now!" He wheezed, making his way to the elevator. "We have to get out of this place right now!" Alex nodded, and motioned for everyone to follow. But Dogura didn't budge. "We need to find the portal back to Hyrule. I would rather die than remain here." Future Alex motioned to the elevator. "I have all kinds of portals, just follow me!" Dogura's eyes widened. "You have a portal back to Hyrule? You know where it is!?" The old man looked towards the elevator, and then back to the samurai. Finally, present Alex shouted out, "Dude, just come on!!" Finally, Dogura entered the elevator, but not before inspecting it as slowly as he possibly could have. Alex motioned for the rest of the group to enter to the elevator.
Upon reaching the bottom, Alex was the first out of the elevator, and the first back in it. The bottom floor was crawling with monsters! The wolfos from before, two Octoroks, and 3 moblins crowded the ground floor. They all stopped, and stared at the open elevator. One of the moblins dropped the copy machine it was mangling, and grabbed it's spear, which was propped up against a nearby counter. Dogura muttered through clenched teeth. "Make the wall close again Alex... do it now!" The boy frantically pressed buttons, but nothing seemed to happen. "Awww shit! Why now! Why does it stop working now??" The doors didn't close, and still, the creatures drew closer...

Alpha blinks as he glances around, seeing the Keese fall almost instantly (OOC: so what was that about having our work cut out for us? . . .), but a grin and the elation that brings it forth swiftly replaces his confusion as he realizes that his blade had been the item that had brought down one of those creatures. 'I ACTUALLY KILLED A KEESE!!!' he mentally yells out joyfully. 'Whoops, sorry again, Dogura,' he adds, once again just in case the samurai has heard him, though his tone loses none of its happiness.
Quickly following the Alex and Elder Alex into the elevator, the teenager wipes his blade off on his jacket - it's already dirty as it is, one more stain (even if it's Keese blood) won't hurt it - and sheathes it before checking the ammo level on the paintball gun while the elevator descends. Fortunately he hadn't actually needed to use it against those Keese, but he does realize that this is no game, and therefore there are no cheat codes to give him unlimited ammunition.
Although . . . Elder Alex can apparently replay different parts of his life, so . . . Alpha nearly laughs out loud as the thought humors him. Still, the fact that the towers are going to collapse shakes him a little bit. Sure, he's never taken much interest in the place and doesn't exactly know what all goes on inside them, but . . . well, it just seems a little odd that Elder Alex would come to stop them rather than going straight to the source of the problem. He could stop the airplane from ever hitting the towers, couldn't he?
Well, that might mess with history in a way he's not wanting to, the Georgian finally decides as he turns to the opening doorway . . . and then he gulps. Wolfos, Octoroks, and Moblins - oh my! (OOC: credit for that line goes to Saber, but I couldn't help but use it myself) "Hurry up and close the freaking door!" he cries out . . . only to realize that they're having technical difficulties all of a sudden. 'Figures . . . technology never works when you actually need it to!' Grabbing the paintball gun once more, he makes sure that no one's in his way, then lays down suppression fire in all directions. "Hurry up and close the freakin' door!" he repeats, not wanting to find out the hard way how much ammo he's got left.

OOC: You know what, Alpha? It's your fault I took forever to post. You stealing my joke made me so angry, I didn't want anything to do with this topic anymore. I hope you're happy.
Of course, but then again, monsters from another realm hadn't attacked on 9/11 either
How do you know? Were you IN the towers that morning?
IC:Saber blinked stupidly, the Keese seeming to die in seconds, his magical attack gone to waste and floating in his hand. He looked down at the burning sphere in his palm, trying to figure out how to get rid of it without attacking something with it. He turned towards Alpha, thinking about asking him, before realizing they were stepping through the vanishing wall yet again. I don't want to miss it! He thought in a panic as he looked around the room again. Hurrying to the window, he threw it open and released the fireball outside, closed the window and ignoring the shout of "MY HAIR!!!!" As he dived into the crowded elevator just before the doors closed.
Saber stood up, listening curiously to the light, airy music coming out of nowhere. "Is there a band of fairies somewhere on--" He began to ask Alex, wonder in his eyes, when he was cut off by a sudden jerk. They were loose--It wasn't staying in place! If it fell from this distance, they would all--Except...they weren't in freefall...instead, it seemed they were slowly descending, steadily lower. The strange sensationg amazed the mercenary--until it spread to his stomach, making him all the sicker again. He fell back onto his rump, leaning against the back of the car as he felt the sick feeling that had become all too familiar lately... What is wrong with me? He wondered yet again, as the compartment stopped it's descent, settling his stomach a bit more. However, he wasn't settled much as the door opened to reveal a welcoming party of fiends.
No way...so many monsters...let's see...Octoroks, Moblins, and Wolfos...He frowned as he tried to finish the thought. He knew that wasn't all he was thinking, but the words wouldn't come, as if they had been stolen from him ( ). He shook it off and stood. It must be the sickness...Oh well, the magical door will...However, another shock came as the wall refused to resume existing. He sighed and conjured another fireball, regretting throwing the last away as he felt the strain of using magic again. He hurled the ball haphazardly into the crowd, hoping to do some damage as he drew his sword and sheath, ready to do battle, which hopefully would last longer than two seconds this time.( )

OOC: I am sorry if I god-modded back then, but I killed that wolfos, if you had a problem with it, you should have said so in OOC or in a PM, but I is ok now.
IC: "Awww shit, indeed, I thought I killed that wolfos," stated Matt blankly. "It must have been faking its death," he continued. Orpheous was the first to notice that old man, "Who is he?" he asked Alex, hoping to get an answer. After all, Matt, Orpheous, Bou, and Simon hadn't been there when the old man explained himself. Bou was the only one of the four to respond when the elevator opened, Orpheous was still waiting for a reply, and the other two were to busy chanting for the door to close faster, even though it would be of no use. Anyways... Bou tossed a bomb out into the crowd of creatures, hoping to make some kind of dent.
