Indeed, as you notice by the thread's title, this little chapter will involve quite some mayhem from the Nightmares' part. Prepare to face a very bizarre dungeon where the laws of physics do not apply and nothing is what it seems to be. It has been planned quite throughly, and I may say that it will be filled with many surprises. ^_^
You don't want to miss it, so if I were you, I'd go and post in A Stone or Something More? that's located in Hyrule Field - North Forest (F6). You have until the conclusion of this thread to post there (it's a quick one, so I'd hurry) or you won't be able to participate. So what are you waiting? Go! ^_^

Alright, TotD is at a stand still. Im beging Blank and Pabru to help me continue it. After TotD2 is finished, Blank, and Pabru, you'll each have your own TotD3 quest to venture on. After which, we will start TotD4 to regroup near Rauru Town. TotD5 is the actualy temple itself, and we'll have to wait for South hyrule to open. As for what happenes after Temple of the Dead? It's already beginning...

For those of you unwilling to scroll down the mainpage without good reason, you'll be happy to learn that Part 8 of Force of Gold is now up and running! Anyone and everyone is more than welcome to come participate in Force of Gold VIII - Castle Liberation (reading the final post of Part 7 is not required, but probably helpful), but please keep in mind that RG will be happy to delete any posts of poor quality.

First of all: hey, everybody!

Yeah, it really is me. But wherefore have I returned? Well, it's to rid HA2 of the recent filth that's accumulated. Yes, I'm talking about those adult links being spammed all over the place.

Unfortunately, there's not much we can do to prevent this. These spammers are actually bots, which I believe we've had here before. For those of you who don't know, bots are basically programs written to sign up for forums and spam them with advertisements. The problem with banning these things is that they don't use a static IP (that is, their IP addresses are changing constantly, so they can't be banned completely). The good news is that we can ban via email, and a lot of these things seem to use the same email addresses. So they've been banned for now.

Will there be more? Probably. Will they eventually stop? Hopefully. What can we do? Keep advising your friendly neighborhood RG or, for those of you who talk to us online via AIM or MSN, talk to me.

I'm sad to say that my event, <a href="viewtopic.php?t=1369">The Cursed Masks</a>, seems to be quite dead. Sovelis is the only one who is replying anymore, and if you don't reply you won't get the TP! I've done a fair bit of planning for this, and I would not like to see that go to waste! So, I'm going to reopen <a href="viewtopic.php?t=1369">The Cursed Masks</a> for more recruits. If you want to join, just post. If you want me to give you a quick recap of what's already happened, then PM me. I'd like to see more action over at my event!

As some of you may know, there have been an assortment of secret topics popping around Hyrule. Although they're secret, they're important to my story. I suggest you get looking (ask a friend)
Also, I'm turning over a new leaf. I know my posts have been a little under average, and as of right now, I'm changing that. Excpect more out me.

Yes, yes, for all of you wondering, that was indeed our April Fool's Day prank. While everything listed in that first paragraph is actually quite true (the entire situation really is a mess...), South Hyrule is not going to be posted in a spur-of-the-moment fashion. We will be working on it for sure, and the way in which this joke was pulled off has actually given me a few new ideas for the whole concept. But it's still not time for SH to open. Sorry.

If you want to blame someone, blame Alpha. He's the guy who originally thought up the idea, and while he was probably joking when he presented it to me, once I had it there was no way on earth that I could not carry through with it.

Oh, and before I go, I remind you that no one is to post in this topic without permission. So no hate-posts allowed.

Things have been rather slow here lately, haven't they? Well, something suspicious has started happening in Hyrule, and it's leading up to a rather exciting event in the very, very near future - no, still not the opening of South Hyrule...you're all free to write nasty letters to Jack encouraging him to give us that password if you want that anytime soon...

But back on topic, something's happening once more...and for those trying to figure out exactly what it is I'm talking about, I suggest you head up to the Crossroads...

Well, the time has finally come. I've been talking about releasing his story for well over a month now, and my prelude to it (An Innocent Query, check the courtyard) has been sitting there patiently, waiting for the main storyline to kick off. Well, adventurers, that time has come! Head over to f33 to read the first installment of this event, Then head one space east of the castle to participate in the new thread, where you may join.

Yes, this is an event. So this is your chance at another TP if you RP well. *hint hint, wink wink, nudge nudge, large neon sign*

Also, I will stop taking new recruits once the current thread is done, so that it doesn't get too packed. Trust me, if it gets too packed, things will get ugly later on

Oh, goody, we're finally back in business.

For those who don't know, HA2 has been down for nearly a week now. But everything seems to be back up and running for us again. I understand that Jack was supposed to get Alpha set up with Admin abilities this week as well, but as far as I know that has not occurred - but it is of course possible; I haven't seen Alpha since we got back online, so I haven't been able to ask him about it.

For the tournament, I intend to put up the next riddle tomorrow or Saturday, whenever I can, so you have until then to get your answers to me. I'll be heading over to reply to the tournament contests pronto, and all those involved will have three days from my reply to post their own. Everyone else, please continue onward with your normal business, and welcome back.

Edit: After some looking around, I think I've discovered the reason HA2 went down like it did. Seems that one week ago, on July 12, a spamming site got ahold of our little website. Nearly 300 spam accounts were created, presumably all within a very short timeframe. This is much more than HA2 has ever dealt with, to my knowledge anyway, and seems like a reasonable explanation for our downtime.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go wonder why they don't allow us to delete multiple accounts with a single button...while I'm manually doing said deletions...

Tower of Illusions!

My first, and most likely only, event, in which I shall reveal some of the darkest and most horrible secrets of the land to those who decide to adventure into the tower. It is found two squares east of New Peaktop, and once the party is inside, no one can join!

There will be some death, on both sides, as well as a tough final boss, one that would never be suspected!

This is the only warning, though! Be prepared for one tough dungeon! Unlike my other dungeons, however, this will hold human enemies!

I've actually been meaning to do this for quite some time, but...what can I say? I'm a busy guy.

Anyway, we've recently added a couple new RG's to our group, and many of you have already seen the results of one of their number's work. That's right, HA2 is pleased to present the first new, TP-rewarding quest in a long, long time: Syrup the Witch has come to Hyrule, and is looking to mix together some special potions for some of our adventurous friends. I think you know what to do from there...

She's waiting for all of you out in the Deku Woods somewhere...

Well, there's also a bit of recent news you might have noticed. You know how the current link to Parapa was malfunctioning as the Parapa Desert (p1) forum was not working, thus making it impossible to go to Parapa without going through other links. First and foremost, I'm proud to announce the introduction of the New Members thread. It can be found in the New Members Forum (if that wasn't obvious enough, you get a big rolleyes from the heart...). Newbies, tell us about yourself. Veterans, do the same (how else can the introductioneers get to know you?). Everyone else...do the same.

Secondly, a concept that you've probably all heard of. Go check out Hyrule's Facebook, the visual aid to getting to know the authors behind the characters and stories. Don't be shy, you're all friends here. Jump in and be a part of it!

Lastly, a new feature has been added to the board. From now on, you can use <embed> tags in your posts. I know a lot of you like to associate music with your posts, so here's a nice, clean way to do so. Use this code:

...no, it's not South Hyrule yet, though that is also quite close as well, with KP getting the reins over TDC and as so HA2 as well, and finally acquiring that FTP password. Not yet, though that might be the next announcement.

No, in this case, it's something quite different. With our current Rules Set lacking quite many information and with some profiles somewhat... lacking, one is bound to ask where (s)he can get more information about this world of Hyrule Adventures 2, especially if you're a new member to the forums. Well, your worries might soon be over as one of our members, Kasei, has gladly created the <a href="http://editthis.info/hyrule/Main_Page" target="body"> Hyrule Adventures 2 Wiki</a>.
