Tayro walked through the uncanny wasteland, known to Hyrulians as The Flats, directing himself to the only civilization known to men in this area - Ruto Town. The teenager bore an exhausted/desperate look on his face, looking directly up with a glare from time to time. In fact, on top of the Hylian's head and slightly spiky-ish hair was a bundle of white feathers, two yellow claws fiercely entangled on the mage apprentice' hair, a yellow cone that opened itself, pointing outwards - a beak - and a red attire on top of it. To the well-verse Hyrulians, Tayro had a Cucco lying on his head, sneering down on the youngster. Whoever said Cuccos are nice and gentle beings definitely has not met this creature. - the boy thought, glaring up again to the cluck-emitting bird who was jokingly resting on top of his head - What does it think I am? Some kind of nest?! As to tease him further, the bird chirped happily, and the teenager had to clench his fist and make a lot of pressure not to squeeze the life out of the mocking critter.

Since he had found it, it had been nothing but trouble. First, his meeting with it was very controverse - at first, the youngster didn't see it, seeing as the Cucco was on top of a tree branch, and the evil, maniac bird, as revenge, threw an egg right against his head, it shattering and spreading its ooze-like contents on top of him. This already did make him uncomfortable, but he managed to clean himself at the nearby lake. Having hear about the rumors of a man looking for his Cuccos that had fled, the boy thought that this would, again, be a good time to help the people of Hyrule - his sense of justice (and pride too) not faltering. Problem was to reach the critter. The tree itself was mostly straight, and without any crevices. Climbing would be a hard job. so, the only method the boy found was to strike at the high branches with his staff. Problem was, as to continuously mock him, the bird evaded the staff with all its might, and, as a result, what happened was that a rather large tree branch fell right on top of the mage apprentice. After that, the bird just flew down happily, and made the teenager's head its own nest, not letting go. A definite bad memory. Even with the heat of the desert sun, making the young kid sweat because of the heavy feathered being on top of him, the bird did maintain its determination of annoying him to no end. Definitely bad memory. At least, the final target seemed at reach.

"Cluckoo!" - the chickenoid creature clucked, observing its caretaker not too far. Tayro takes note of this, and approaches the man nicknamed 'Bird Man' because of its fondness for birds. Must be a real addict to deal with these things... - the boy thought. The Hylian breathes inwardly, and, applying pressure, manages to pull the avian creature off his head - but not without quite some cuts in his head - the foul beast was determined in not letting go. "Here. This is yours, I believe. Take it, then." - the boy said, relieved that he was finally free of that critter. The beast even had the nerve of happily fluttering to its owner's arms with a happy 'Cluckoo', looking at the teenager with what could be comprehended as an evil grin. Exhausted, yet finally free, the boy went to another part of the town, looking for a fountain to clean up, and calmly pray to the Goddesses to heal him.

The Bird Man takes the Cucco into his arms and bows in your direction, as to express his appreciation. Turning away, he quickly rushes to the Cucco pen behind him and returns the bird to its home. "You have my thanks, good adventurer," he says to you as his Cucco flies out of the pen and runs off again.

A young girl clothed in a white cloak prances towards the Bird Man. A grin hidden behind her hood, she says, "I believe I heard that your cuccos have run away… I found this little rascal wandering around Hyrule… I’m sure you would love to have it back." She suddenly sounds a tad on the evil side, "Well… here you are." She hands the cucco to the Bird Man and skips gracefully into the crowds.

Holding a cucco, which was locked in a staring contest with Douglas' own falcon, Douglas speaks. "Yours, I believe. Might want to keep a better eye on that pen." he says, the longest string of words he had said during his entire time in Hyrule.

Saber ran into town, chased by a Cuccoo. He stopped before the bird man, panting. "It kept struggling in my grasp, so--" He was cut off as the bird launched into him, scratching and pecking him. "I--OW!--kicked it to calm it--OUCH!--Down! So as you could imagine--AGH!--It got ticked and chased me! At least it was--GYAHA!--effective!" He leapt up, the cuccoo clutching on to his arm. He stuck the limb out painfully as the cuccoo continued to try and devour it. "Please, just take it!"

Xokorn approached the Bird Man with apprehension. It wasn't so much of the aura about him, but it was more so the fact that Saber was being eaten alive by a generally-harmless creature called a Cucco. Even though there are exeptions--namely, a gaggle of them multi-teaming the attacker to try to subdue him or her--it was still strange to see the site of a warror getting pecked to death by only one of them. Xokorn couldn't help but snicker lightly.

The Cucco was in his pocket for days, but it didn't seem to care. It was just sleeping without any sign of resistance to him handing it over to the man.

IC: Brin approaches the distraught Bird Man, a madly clucking Cucco in his hands, flapping its wings crazily and spewing feathers everywhere. "Don't fear, sir, I believe I found one of your missing birds. Does this little guy look familiar?"

Brin holds out the Cucco to the man, eager to get rid of the annoying little chicken, which hadn't stopped flapping and clucking since he found it wandering around in the Ruto Highlands.
