Micheal smiled as he danced with Kayla. His nervousness had disappeared and he found himself just enjoying it all. "You know," he said, "people say I'm not very good at dancing, but maybe that is because I don't dance often, or maybe it's the fact that I'm dancing with the most beautiful girl here. I just had to increase my dancing skills." Micheal smiled at her, knowing that what he had just said would make her blush.

"Oh, thanks!" Shada says as she blushes at Arrika's comment. "You're not to bad looking yours - oh, what have we here?" A giggle escapes her lips as Sakiko's sudden desire for more of the wine overcomes her. She takes another sip of her still-full glass as a joke towards the mage, then lets the giggle build up into a charming laugh as Arrika leads Sakiko over to bar, intent on following the pair so that she can attempt to get the Hylian to get something real to drink - plus she'd like something beyond mere wine for herself, too - when she hears a new voice directed at her.

The Sheikah woman spins around - and finds herself looking at . . . Sovelis? 'Sure, he introduces himself as Mathais, but . . . oh, his twin! Wait, Sovelis has a twin?' She didn't exactly have the fondest of memories concerning the 'Tempest', especially after he had turned on their group that night in North Castle and brought them down to critical levels - going so far as to nearly kill Calla, whom Shada had taken quite a liking too. Even more reason not to trust this "Mathais" was the redness of his cheeks; he was already drunk, and who knew what he was thinking. Speaking of thinking . . . she'd heard that Sovelis was a telepath, and the idea of his brother being the same was not too unlikely. Best to start guarding her thoughts like Master taught her to do.

Of course, he was being quite polite, and even managed to keep his eyes away from the region that male biology necessitated they wanted to travel directly to - heck, with this dress, the fact that he was avoiding doing something even sober men would have found almost an impossible task was enough to toss out her first reaction of giving him the beating she owed Sovelis. And the smile was a slightly dark one; while it would have unnerved many women, the fact was that it was strikingly similar to the one Keyru wore when he smiled at all. Which, while almost never, was a bit comforting to her.

And so, completing her rotation to face the man, she gives him an unintentionally seductive smile. "You are the one being flattering, Mr Liadon," she replies, somewhat surprised by the formality that she responds with. Hm, maybe her tolerance to alcohol was more akin to Sakiko's then she thought . . . She blushes as he continues his most poetic introduction, glad that some not-rude male doesn't find her attempts at enchantment a complete bother.

'Besides . . . it's been a long time since I've toyed with a man,' she thinks as her grin only widens and becomes more tantalizing. "Oh," she says, adding a slight slur to her own words and trying to get a blush of her own worked up, "you're exaggerating!" Seeing as how the blush isn't coming on its own, she quickly decides to get it the easy way and downs the rest of her wine in one gulp. 'Darn, not enough. Hm, how else can I do this . . .' She allows for another giggle to pass through her lips, adding a charming trace of a squeal into there as well. 'I can put on some makeup while the guy ain't looking . . . hm . . . gotta distract him first, though . . .'

A thought hits her, and she looks at the glass in her hand as if noticing its empty qualities for the first time. "Oh my, out again? Mmm . . . Mathais, would you be a dear and lead me back to the bar? I'd really appreciate th-the company."

OOC: Hm, this oughta be interesting.

Kayla rested her head on Micheal's shoulder, mostly to hide her blush, but it deepened when she realized what she was doing. She pulled her head away and looked down at her feet. "I'm not the most beautiful girl here, I'm maybe the most plain girl here."

Sakiko wasn't a very good dancer when she was drunk - it would remain a mystery whether or not she was a good dancer had she been wide awake mentally. Her hands gripped Laido’s shoulders weakly, swaying from side to side. Her feet weren’t in tune with the music, and she drunkenly pushed herself backwards and forwards, all in random coordination.

Zeze gripped her stomach, wiping the tears that ran freely down her cheeks.

“Oh, my goddesses, this is hilarious. Gah, save me.”

The bard lifted a hand to grab a glass of beer, when she spotted the door opening with a bang. There, her twin stood, his black hair dripping with the snow. Zeze gaped at the sight, her eyes following Masakazu as he hung up his snow covered coat, and look around the room. The bard shook her head in disbelief. Masakazu at a party from his own free will! He even had enough gace to don on a jet black tux – matching his hair. Zeze waved her arm, and yelled,

“Oi! Over here! Masa!”

Masakazu’s face looked relieved, finding people that he knew. Shuffling over, he nodded at Arrika.

“Hello, you look wonderful.”

The twin shook his head at Zeze.

“Your dress…it’s…”

The bard beamed at him.

“I know, it’s great! I had it custom made. Isn’t it so festive?”

Masakazu made no reply, his green eyes scanning the room. Unsurprisingly, he knew no one there. He never came out of his house, always reading. He anxiously looked around, his unasked inquiry written all over his face.

“Are you looking for Sakiko?”

Masakazu nodded at Zeze, barely listening. The bard took a sip of her beer, and said,

“She’s on the dance floor, y’know. So, what made ya come?”

His ears perked up at the mention of dance floor. Weaving his way through, occasionally muttering “excuse me”, or sometimes “Oops, sorry.” Finally, his eyes caught sight of the pale mage, tripping and swaying ungracefully. Masakazu walked over, and asked Laido worriedly,

“Hey..what happened to Sakiko?”

Laido’s face was pink from making sure that Sakiko didn’t fall over entirely. He whispered,

“Drunk.”

Masakazu jumped, clearly shocked.

“What?!”

Sakiko stopped “dancing” and stared at Masakazu with blurred vision.

“H…hey…Masaka *hic* zu! *hic* What cha doing at *hic* a party?”

She stumbled, her red high heel slippers sliding on the floor. Masakazu grabbed her arm, his face in a frown.

OOC: God Alpha, don't get TOO risque...had you done that to Saber, he would probably be a pile of quivering ashes by now.

and HNS, wouldn't Feet know all about Saber's thoughts, seeing as how he has talked with the person controlling Saber? Although you wouldn't know all about him since I haven't done much with him story wise, I believe I've made his crush fairly obvious to everyone here. Especially you. God could we have fun with that...

IC:Saber felt something awaken in him as Sheila voiced her impulse to depart. Idiot, entertain her, stop her from leaving, do something! A harsh voice called out from inside him. His eyes instantly snapped to Burlo, the cause of her disgust, and he immediately blamed the cleric for the problem. Then again, he always did. Raising his hand, he sent a small spark of magical energy through it, and the drunk leapt into the air, clutching his rump as the seat of his pants ignited. He yelped as he brought his staff around, his wine spilling, unnoticed, all over the lush carpet as he shot a jet of ice out of the tip of his staff. The flames were instantly doused, and he sighed in relief as he turned to try and find just who had set him ablaze, a large icicle sticking off his hind end knocking several glasses off of the table behind him.

Saber lowered his hand and looked towards Sheila, smiling apologetically. "No, please don't leave, you just got here...There's still the music competition, and they've got games up, and dancing nnn--" His tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth as he mentioned the common man-and-woman party activity, his mind going blank with the possibility that she would want to dance with him. He didn't know how to dance. He didn't know if he was bad at it--He hoped not. He had just never really tried it. The only dancing he could remember doing were the senseless little jigs he did as a child when he was allowed to feed the sheep or was awarded a piece of candy for not smashing one of Mother's prized vases for a whole week. If he had the proverbial spotlight placed on him and was asked to the dance floor...He'd rather not think about it.

Especially me, thought Feet in reply to the OOC comment above this post. Meh, why waste an OOC?

Meanwhile, the Hylian was giggling at the recent antics of everyone's favorite drunken cleric, brought to us courtesty of Sabertache. Sheila then turned her attention to the merc. "Oh, no, I don't play an instrument...."

"I left mine at home," Feet interrupted.

"I don't want to be here in the first place...."

"Don't look at me like that."

"And I don't like to dance."

"Of course you do!"

The young woman's head snapped over to the human. "Don't you dare overwrite my personality," she hissed, digging her nails into Feet's arm.

The sage merely let out a fake yawn and held up his right index finger. A spark of electricity began to spiral lazily down the mini-appendage. Sheila let out a small scream and completely let go of his arm. "Freedom!" Feet did his best Dr. Zoidberg escape imitation (which, since this isn't really happening anyway, was perfect) right out of the front door.

"FEET!" The Hylian gave chase, but couldn't open the door. "FEET!" she shouted again, banging on the door. His grinning mug appeared in a nearby window; Sheila saw it and ran over to it. "GET BACK IN HERE!"

The human merely fogged up the window with his breath and wrote "Have fun with Saber," except it was backwards to his Hylian friend. He then continued his Zoidberg imitation for a few more yards before resuming a normal walking stance with a slight bounce in it. Now I can go hunting for the accursed copy of Eff Eee Seven, he happily thought. eBay, here I don't come!

Back at the party, Sheila merely looked at Saber and slightly blushed. "So, um, what do you want to do?" she asked, trying to keep her anger towards Feet out of her tones.

OOC: Well, seeing as how noone else is posting, I might as well go ahead and post again.

IC: "Well, I used to mess around on a few instruments when I was little--" Saber spoke hurriedly, glad he had a topic to talk about that wouldn't embarass him. However, the pair soon launched into another argument which ended in things he didn't quite understand--Then again, that seemed to happen a lot around here. He watched the odd little man dash away with a befuddled expression, and nearly fried his brain trying to work out the cryptic message he left behind--It was hard enough for him to read normally, but this odd language completely mystified him.

He felt his ears getting hot as Sheila returned to him and turned her full attention to him. I made her laugh again. He thought simply. Good. Wait, actually, Burlo made her laugh...No, no, no, I'm not losing her to a man who follows the teachings of whiskey even more than the teachings of Nayru! He saw her blush and felt himself reddening in return. "Well, like I said earlier, I've messed around with instruments before, so I suppose I could steal someone's and try that contest...Although it's highly unlikely I would be able to make any love. I mean music!" He corrected himself quickly, feeling that dizziness again. "I...\it'd probably just be a bunch of racket." He looked around, trying to avoid her gaze, but at the same time drawn to her cute face. He gave an awkward smile, waiting for a response.

OOC: Man, where did everyone go? Your family decides to go on a vacation and you have to go to? What is this nonsense?

IC:
If anyone else at the party was an author of the characters within, perhaps they would wonder what was up with the OOC comment. The reason was simple: Feet wasn't there anymore (pity he wasn't really; he would've gotten a laugh out of Saber's reaction to his Zoidberg imitation). Of course, devoting anymore time to him is a waste, and if no one viewed it as a way to fill out the post some, they would be considered dead in the head. Or filled up on too much eggnog.

Anywho, had Sheila been able to communicate telepathically like the most gifted of her race, she would've consoled Saber that Burlo had not made her laugh; rather, she was laughing at the man as he got what he deserved. As it is, she can only wonder at the mercenary's odd chatter. It then struck her that he had a crush on her. Oh, great, she thought. I hadn't had to deal with this since school.

"Well, um, I think I much rather wait here and hope I can get out the door soon," she said. "Feet can't keep me in here forever, right?"

Cucco crap, that's probably the wrong thing to say to him.

Arrika was busy cackling with laughter as she watched the drunken Sakiko. "Oh, that's too much, Goddesses, to think I would live to see this day-" She broke into laughter again and buried her head in her arms on the bar table at an attempt to muffle them out.

Kobas bowed to Zelda and lifted her hand to kiss it lightly in a very refined way. "I'd best go, Princess. Your father doesn't look to happy..." He winked and disappeared swiftly and silently and reappeared at Shada's side. He had noticed her unmatchable beauty the moment she had arrived at the party and couldn't help but be drawn to her like a moth after a lamp. The rogue seemed to pluck a black rose out of thin air and with a smile held it out to her. "Even this flower looks plain beside you, but say, if you were to honor me by wearing it in your hair, I'm sure your own natural beauty could bring out its own." Kobas cast a sly look at Mathais, as if challenging him to try and win Shada's favor over him.

OOC: Who are you talking to, HNS? Me, or Saber?

IC: Kasei had left, to where was unknown. denkou and Sosei are obviously trying to get a competition started. Kairos hasn't even talked to anyone, he's just stood there, looking at the party, as if he would spontaniously combust if he would join in with the festivities. That meant Aria and Jormund were the only two members of 'Kasei's group' left.

Aria had apparently lost interest in Worru, she instead took the hands of Mido and was now dancing across the floor, enjoying herself nicely. Jormund, the old, bearded, sly bastard, had already noticed Sovelis, and was now on his way over to talk with the tempest. As he patted the short mans shoulders, he smiled. "Hello, there."

Zelda smiled as her hand was kissed, of course, she faced Link once more, smiling.
"Shall we dance?" She asked, giggling. Meanwhile, Darunia had grabbed a goron ale and a nice rock, fresh from Kasei's priceless walls, and was doing the Darunia dance in the middle of the floor, the tune being courtesy of Saria. Dark Link Hissed, finally escaping the evil grasps of Malon, and was moving through the party to where his good counterpart was. "Hey, girly-boy! Stop dancing and come fight me!" The embodiment of evil demanded.

Koume and Kotake flew overhead once more, as Shiek grabbed another drink from the bar, and went over to Sakiko, and tapped her shoulder. "Care to dance?" He asked her.

OOC: I always thought Shiek actually existed as a seperate entity, and Zelda only pretended to be him when he died. He's just awesome!

Oh, and my computers a tard, it deletes anything I typed a while ago, and my E-mail isn't recieving any reply notifications, so if you post in a topic i'm a part of, please tell me.... :D

Masakazu backed away, returning to Zeze. He sighed, and grabbed some beer. Gulping it down, he leaned against the wall, acting as invisible as possible.

Sakiko, on the other hand, was all smiles. She giggled,

"Sure!"

She stood, a bit stumbling, still drunk and bubbly.

Zeze's eyes were now pink from the tears of amusement, choking from the beer. She clapped Masakazu on the shoulder and laughed,

"Hey, bro, what is up?"

Masakazu shrugged, his eyes still on the dance floor.

OoC: Awesome, Kasei, I thought I was the only one who considered Sheik a separate person ^^

IC: Arrika's laughter died away and she could only stare as Sheik asked the silver haired mage girl to dance. Apart from Link, Sheik had always been her other idol, and even more so since he was a Sheikah as well.

Seth leaned against a wall again, Aria ignoring him completely. She'd already moved on to some Kokiri guy, and he reasoned that if she continued moving through all the male party goers that fast she'd get to him sooner or later. An uncomfortable bulge in one of the inner pockets of his zoot suit style jacket reminded him of the large quantity of fireworks he had tucked away. He fully intended to use them later, just for the sake of bothering everyone and "starting a grand riot", as Thorne would say.

"I suppose he can't." Saber said simply as he internally berated himself. Great, now you've gone and scared her away. He had seen her reactions during his rant, and wasn't all too pleased with himself. He felt the buzzing in his head rise to a feverish pitch, and he barely heard himself mumble, "Well, why don't we at least sit instead of stand around the whole time,' as he stumbled in the direction he supposed the chairs would be. He didn't quite feel the people he shoved through, bumping them off his shoulder in an urgent desire to get off his feet before something bad happened. Of course, it wouldn't be as fun if he did succeed in pulling out okay, so by some cruel twist of fate, his legs collapsed as he came within reach of the chairs. He maintained an awkward kneeling position with his head on the seat (and also in another man's lap, but that doesn't deserve mentioning. Wait...). He felt his eyesight leave him, replaced by a swirling...something in his vision. He had no sense of direction, and it was all he could do to maintain a grip on the seat's arms with his hands.

"Yeah, sitting sounds good," Sheila replied. The young woman followed her fellow Hylian through the crowd.

And then the mercenary fell face first into a chair. "Saber!" she squealed. She grabbed her newfound friend and helped him sit in a seat properly. "Are you okay?" Concern fills her tones. "I'd get you something to drink, but I don't think there's a drop of water in this house," she added, smiling weakly. In her mind, she kicked herself. This isn't something to joke about!
