Well, that didn't take long.
As the wagon yielded itself to the all-consuming flames, reducing to a pile of ashes, Saber sheathed his blade. He didn't speak for a while, thinking over his earlier actions. Maybe it would have been better to give warning before lighting up the wagon. What if that had alerted the Garo, though? They would have been able to hide themselves pretty quickly. It was just one of those situations where there were too many factors to consider. At least things had worked out this time.
He watched the group head down the secret passage and followed dutifully, hoping to stay in the background for a while until some of the anger passed.
He uttered a small curse as they passed the scene of the Elemental Burst's detonation, the Garo body nowhere to be found. After that, his mouth remained closed until they reached the end of the tunnel, where he audibly gasped. The door frightened him more than a little--the mercenary did whatever he could to avoid thinking about how many enemies could be waiting behind there. Luckily, there seemed to be only two left, and one was nearly done in the first place. Everyone seemed preooccupied with the Master.
Looking over at the other tunnel, he pondered what could be there--possibly just another way to get out into South Hyrule. That could be taken care of later. For now, they had a battle to take care of. He drew his saber once again, grunting a little as it got caught on a little dent. Once it was in his hand, he charged the Garo Ninja. As he crossed the entire cavern, it suddenly struck him that with such a large distance between his target, it was highly unlikely it wouldn't anticipate his attack and dodge. Maybe he should oh wait he was there guess he may as well just swing his sword at the ninja then. So he did.

Aria, of course, followed her companions down the tunnels. It seemed a bit unnecessary to point it out. But perhaps people would want to know that the Gerudic ranger thought, Damn, that looks like the boss.
She had to assess the situation before running in. The smaller ninja already looked injured, but the bigger one was more likely to be a threat and should be taken care of first. But Aria felt confident that she could take down the smaller of the two in one swipe. And besides, the others could always target the boss.
However....
The ranger really ought to go after the big ninja. It was the larger threat, and it had to go first. So Aria sprinted to the Garo Master, spinning her naginata over her head before bringing it down in a diagonal slash, putting her foe between blade and earth.

Following the group around the bend, the still useless Zora kept his eyes open for the fleeing Garo. As he followed one of the women in the group (cowardly as that sounds), his eyes got stuck on a demolished rock. He silently cursed to himself about not being born with any magical prowess, and continued forward. Finally, he came to halt behind the group, and moved around the side of the adventurers to get an actual visual on what was happening. When he saw the two Garo, his mind began racing. Is that the father of all of those things? Will he be stronger than the others? No doubt. I've got to go in with my A-Game. Not wasting another moment, he began to draw the energy inside him to create another barrier between himself and the enemy. Suddenly, however, the spell fizzled out, and stopped completely. You've got to be kidding me.
He didn't have enough energy left to complete the spell. He closed his eyes, and thought for a moment. He'd only have enough energy to rely solely on his regular attacks. But when had they ever served him well before? He thought hard on it, and decided to leave the larger one to the stronger, more capable warriors that resided in the group. Focusing on the only thing he probably could do, he drew his sword upon the smaller Garo. Darting from his position, he ran as fast as he could, trying to pick his angle. The tinier Garo seemed to be more drawn to the other warriors, as they approached the larger parent figure. Just great. It doesn't even recognize me as a threat. He thought bitterly, coming up on the creature. "DON'T IGNORE ME!" He cried, as he brought his large sword down at a diagonal angle on the little ninja's exposed head.

Rosen was tired, evident in his gait which was more slow and lethargic than usual and didn't quite have that thump in his skip as he waddled behind the others-heart rate not lifting even when those ninjas took hold of his irises and sat at the edge of his pupil. The only sounds were the sloshing of bodily fluids in his stomach and the yawning that perpetuated themselves with eah heave of his foot forward.
His fingers thumbed the back of his hilt and his back arched forward even more as if dropping a rupee below, Rosen allowed gravity to plop out his sword and let it root itself into the veins of the earth. Now, the sound were of his slow trot towards the Garo master which was courted by the sounds of him tracing a line on the earth, scratching the ground with his blade and not ready to lift it up for his swing as still there was plenty of distance between him and his enemy.
'Uuugh.'
The soft jump from the ground and into the air was barely noticable besides the faltering stride that the blade ran as it occasionally toppled onto the ground and flying into the air once more as the goron picked up speed, still yawning quite loudly beneath all the cacophany of the fight.
Finally with the air beneath his feet, Rosen ran full speed, eyes tapered as they nearly collapsed into slumber as his blade reached its heights in the air and tumbled downward in an arc towards the Garo master's chest..."Hyuuaaaaaaaaaawwwnnn"
OOC: I'm still hoping that this can be considered a new fight so I can use my honorable kill and dragonsbane, RG. I am determined to get to try this new skill out. I WANT TO SO BAD!

As Abel charged the Garo Master, it stood there silently, watching the approaching adventurer. When he struck, the Master seemed to disappear--then he was seen again, landing behind the Grunt and slashing him across the back for 15 DMG before disappearing again. Saber, meanwhile, brought his blade across the Garo Ninja's torso for 13 DMG, leaving the ninja barely alive. As Aria swung her naginata at the Master, he disappeared once again, suddenly rushing in from the Gerudo's side and swinging its blades lethally. Unlike Abel, however, Aria was barely able to escape damage. Taint soon made short work of the weakened Garo Ninja, the cloaked figure collapsing beneath his blade. As Rosen fell towards the remaining enemy, it backflipped away, letting the Goron fall before it, then leapt into the air, falling upon the Vassal with a critical, 30 DMG strike. Vanishing again, it reappeared before the large doors, looking at its fallen Ninja. Brandishing one of its blades, it rapped it against the doors, which opened slowly. Out of the darkness crept three Iron Knuckles, hefty swords in hand. Alarmed, Valens fired an arrow from atop his steed, the projectile soaring across the cavern at the Garo Master. The General soon found himself flying off of the horse with a large scratch across his breastplate, the Garo Master flipping away from him immediately following its surprise attack.

OOC: Damn you RG. You take DAYS then choose the EXACT MOMENT I'M WRITING MY POST. Hate.
IC: Victor was busy leaning his head against the nearest rock wall and closing his eyes as the group passed him into the secret passage. He was nearly sleeping when the commotion of the passing adventurers and the sound of battle cries and such nonsense echoing through the tunnel brought him back to reality. He moaned, but was feeling significantly better by then.
Still, he did trip a bit as he struggled to wobble toward the latest battle. His stomach was turning a bit yet, and it would be a while before his head stopped reeling, but overall he was a bit steadier as he entered the cavern behind the rest of the group. The Garo Master was the first thing he noticed, seeing as how it seemed to be the main target. Shrugging, the Bard suppressed another hurgk and raised a hand filled to the brim with orby goodness. He fired, and his Elemental Burst of Light wobbled itself over in the direction of the Garo.
Victor immediately found the nearest rock wall and leaned against it, closing his eyes again and missing out on all the iron knuckle fun for a bit.
OOC: Just for that I'm not posting my updated stats. HA.

Darilan thought about studying the Iron Knuckles and trying to find a weakness, but he decided against it when he saw how fast the Garo Master was able to cover ground. He was feeling tired, and didn't want to risk using another spell unless he absolutely needed too. With the Iron Knuckles present, he still stood by his suggested strategy off killing the Garo Master first. They couldn't let that little punk alert anymore of its friends. Besides, Darilan knew he couldn't do so much as put a dent in the Iron Knuckles armor, so he turned toward the Garo Master. He winced as he saw Victor cast the Burst of Light, but regained his focus as the light flew through the air he prepared to swing his Deku staff, hoping to land the hit before the Garo could overcome the shock of the spell. This time, he aimed for the torso, rather than the head or neck area, as he tended to do, since the result of that was usually failure.

That was far too close, the Gerudic ranger thought as she dodged the Garo Master's attack. Looks like I'll have to be sneaky and underhanded to kill it.
But all thought of how to attack the ninja is banished as three Iron Knuckles enter the room. "Verdammen sie es aller zur Hölle!" Aria muttered. They didn't need this.
The Gerudo forced her thoughts back to her original foe. Let the stronger ones worry about the Iron Knuckles. This ninja seemed unnaturally fast. Aria studied both the Garo and its surroundings, looking for some possible way to slow it down so the quicker members of the group could strike at it. [Insight Check]

OOC: RG... Rg, seriously? Do you actually have some kind of grudge against us?
IC:
The fiend fell at the Zora's blade, and nothing could have made the nomad more confident. Removing his blade from the carcass in a flashy manner, he eyed the final remaining enemy. Just one left. If we all work together, we can overwhelm, and overpower him. Suddenly, it began tapping on the large doors with one of it's two blades. That's when the big guns walked through the door, and struck the Zora's mind with doubt. Can we really do this? He began thinking quickly. He didn't have enough spell energy left to play his ace. Holding his tattered rusted blade, he suddenly felt weaker than everyone else. Most of these adventurers were much stronger than he; and nothing made him feel like nothing more than a flesh and bone creation, than seeing everyone out perform him. He watched the enemies, and decided to avoid the Iron Knuckles. I doubt I can get through that kind of armor with my sword... Maybe I'll wait until their armor crumbles to strike them.
He set his sights, finally, on the Garo Master. I think we can take this guy if we give it all we got. Feeling light on his feet, he realized that, unlike a few of his allies, he hadn't been damaged yet. That's right. I'm untouchable. Nayru's blessings are at my back. I've nothing to fear as long as I let her take the wheel. Now smiling confidently, he focused hard, and gripped his blade tightly. I can do this. Everyone is relying on eachother. I don't want to be the weak link. Suddenly, a body flew past him, and nearly hit him. Turning to see General Valens lying flat on his back, the Zora suddenly felt an urge to defend his allies. "I won't be weak." He repeated under his breath. "Hey Valens!" Taint called to the general. "Hang in there, alright?" He nodded at the man, and turned back to face his enemy. "There's no turning back." He stated to himself. Enough preperation. He was set. Launching from his stance into a full sprint, he uttered a battle cry, thrusting his sword directly at the Garo Master as soon as he was within range of the Zora's rusty steel.

Saber laughed triumphantly as he and Taint teamed up to take out the remaining Garo, then swore bitterly as the tide of battle turned again, this time in a much more drastic sense. Most of all, he saw Rosen take a very, very painful hit, so hard that it made him wince just to look at it. That Goron is going to need help.
Looking about, he saw several more of his allies attacking the Garo. That...didn't work before. It seemed to just hurt everyone that went after it. It's way, way too fast. He bit his lip, trying to figure out exactly what to do in this situation. The best thing I can do is try to keep as many of us alive as possible.
"Leave the Garo Master alone, please! It's just tearing apart anyone that goes after it! We'll need to find some kind of way to damage it! Let's focus on the slower targets first!"
Wondering whether anyone would listen after the wagon incident, the mercenary bowed his head in prayer, desperate to keep Rosen in the fray. [Favor of the Goddesses on Rosen]

It wasn't so much that the plastered shirt that stuck to his chest and revealed more of his chest than would've been appropriate in any other situation was an inconvenience with the moisture that spread from his brow and followed the tracks of his veins. It was actually more of a burden that the shirt wasn't cemented to the sprawled and patches of fur that sprouted from his skin with the sweat of his brow but with the gashes that spewed a fountain of velvet red that embroidered itself to the fabric of his flesh as well as his shirt.
Oh one could barely imagine any man to break the roots that stuck him to the ground like the blood that was sewn into his shirt and that nurtured the weight and the gravity that grew vines into the earth that spread and danced across the veins of velvet, running wild across the floor.
But there he was, Rosen, trembling, struggling, lifted his arms with a slow and meticulous gait-so slow that it might resemble the the fractions that walked along the curvature of the earth as dawn sets over a scape and the sun begins to travel over barefoot fields.
And as that sun bore its flesh over the Goron's back through the the lanterns that littered the walls and reflected the casting rays that surely did permit light outside of this realm, Rosen lifted two swords from the callouses that endeavored in his supplies, both dancing off the reflections of the Garo ninja's blades, courting the anger that passed through the goron's furrowed wrinkles and lashed out through his tapered eyes.
With that, he moved forward, muscles cast against the hilt of his swords, concentrated in the glint of his weapon and marrying its edge to the beckoning flesh that decorated his quick and nimble foe.

IC: Simon, like Saber, took note of the other tunnel, where did it lead. After ponderint it for a few moments, he sighed, realizing they had a Garo Ninja and Garo Master to worry about. Simon sat back, trying to diagonsis how to best fight the Garo Master.
Simon's mouth dropped when he first saw the Garo Master disappear. This enemy was extremely agile, and it didn't seem as though any attack could land on it. As the Garo Master rapped on the door (?) with it's blade (/?). As the door opened, and the Iron Knuckles crawled out, Simon sighed. If it was more Garo Masters, they would be screwed. But, luckily, it were three very slow Iron Knuckles.
Simon soon set his mind into gear. He would ignore the Iron Knuckles for now, they weren't his primary concern, and it would be nay impossible for them to land a blow. Even though the Garo Master only appeared to be attacking those who tried to attack it, that might have just been coincidence. Perhaps if they left it alone, it would still attack them. And it was swift enough to take them out like flies before any of them could land a blow if this group of adventures focused all their attacks on the Iron Knuckles.
Area of effect. It clicked. There would be no way that the Garo Master could evaid just a blow. An Elemental Explosion, Thunder, or a bomb would all suffice. But, bombs were risky because it required somebody to get within range of the Garo Master. Apparently, when an attack was made on the Garo Master, it swiftly moved behind it's attacker. So, the bombs might not work, because the explosion wouldh have to be near the attacker. And Elemental Explosion and Thunder not only drained a lot of magic power, but also very few people had those spells. Luckily, Simon knew Alpha had Elemental Explosion, but it might not come down to that.
Then there was another possibility. They would have bait attack the Garo Master, and then have the real attackers aim at the Garo Master as it tried to sneak attack the bait. That seemed a lot more valid. Simon used his knowledge to further asses the situation seeing if any of his ideas would work, or if there was anything else he was missing or any other way to land any blows [Awareness Check/Insight Check].
Then he heard Saber's calling to the others. He slapped his hand to his forehead. He knew Saber was a great tacitian, and a brilliant plan maker, but this wasn't exactly his best idea. Simon decided to propose his own theories to the group.
"Saber's got a point. The Garo Master only appears to be attakcing those who attack it. However, how do we know that it won't attack anybody else? It might have only been attacking those who attacked it because they were the most convenient. I'm sure that if we focus soley on the Iron Knuckles, the Garo Master will use it's swift speed and sneak attacks to pick us off one by one. Because the Iron Knuckles will have difficulty landing a hit because they are so slow, I suggest we turn all attention to the Garo Master to figure out how to land an attack on it," he pleaded with his comrades.

OOC: oog I'm lazy and don't feel like writing a whole catchup excuse. Again. So I'll skip to the present.
IC: Leth looked around at the current situation. Three Iron knuckles, who wouldn't be affected in the least by his arrows, and one Garo Master, who moved so fast it made it practically impossible to aim at him. Great.
This, Leth thought, is why it would be great to know a little magic. Eh, I'll get around to learning some eventually.
Well, he couldn't harm the Iron knuckles and had very little chance of harming the Garo. Well, a little was better than nothing. Leth shuffled over to the wall and crouched low as he put an arrow to the string of his bow. He lifted it up and drew it back, and aimed at the Garo Master, thinking of nothing but getting this arrow to make contact with the speedy Garo. 4 will

The Garo disappeared as Victor's Elemental Burst wobbled its way over, appearing beside the Bard and slashing him for 15 DMG. Darilan nearly suffered the same fate as he attacked the Master, but somehow the Sheikah managed to get out of the way of the lethal blades. Aria's Insight Check succeeds, and an idea strikes the Gerudo. Whenever the Garo comes under attack, it's feet push off of the ground and launch it at incredible speeds. If the ground could just be made a bit less firm, and the Garo's traction taken away...
Taint was next to feel the sting of the Garo's blades as it maneuvered around his attack to strike for 15 DMG. Saber's FotG succeeded, restoring 20 HP to Rosen. Luckily, when the Goron attacked the Garo Master again, the Master's swords weren't able to cut into Rosen's rocky back. Simon's Awareness Check passed, and though he was unable to think of a way to hit the Garo Master, his ears did pick up an odd sound...it was very faint, but it sounded like running water, and it was coming from one of the walls of the cavern. As he contemplated this, Leth found himself taking 15 DMG as the Garo evaded the arrow and appeared beside the archer, slashing furiously.
Richard Valens, who had climbed back on his horse, had galloped around the back of the Iron Knuckles, moving quickly enough on his steed to get behind the heavily armored foes. Swinging his sword as hard as he could, he managed to break the armor off of one of them before they all swung their blades at him, one of them catching him in the side and knocking him off his horse once again.
