As Dogura was running, he was thinking about how they would escape to Parapa. Yes, parapa is neutral ground. Royal Forces dont dare trespass there. If we could only find an alternate route there...Perhaps if we sail the waters of Tantari. We could make it around the mountain side... He thought, as he neared the path to Rauru. Suddenly, Four Guards rolled by on a caravan following Dogura. "There he is! Thats one of them! I swear it!" Dogura heard the guards, and payed attention as he ran. How could they have tracked me that fast? He thought, as they rolled by, and baracaded the samurai from proceeding down the path. "Alright men! After we deal with this filth, we can head back to the King, and let him know of where they're headed!"
Dogura sneered. Pitiful men. One of the guards made a disgusted face, and lept off of the caravan. "He thinks somethings funny guys!" The other three Guards lept off of the caravan, and drew their swords. "Alright, let this be a lesson to you!" They charged Dogura, all four of them! The samurai drew his sword, slicing one of them along the neck and shoulder as he did so! [Mortal Draw] The man fell into the dirt, as Dogura side stepped the next Guard, smashing him with a well aimed back kick, making him topple over his fallen comrade. The third guard and his companion, both shoved their swords at the vagabond, and both of them missed, as the Sheikah sank into a shadow. "H-He's a demon!!" One of them cried, attempthing to run.
Dogura shot out of the ground, and planted both feet on the fleeing Guard, and driving his sword into the back of the man's neck. Dying instantly, the Guard fell to the ground in a growing pool of blood. Now, the fourth Guard was having second thoughts. "I-I.. I'll stand my ground!" He shouted, trembling. "You arent guards. You're pathetic." Dogura spit on one of the corpses that littered the ground. "Dogura slammed into the trembling guard, driving his sword through his heart. At that moment, Dogura's Hylian ears perked, as he heard the sound of footsteps. The man that he had kicked, was well on his way back to north Castle.
The Guard, in full sprint, hit something solid, and bounced back hitting the ground. As he looked up, he saw the Glaring samurai. "No! Please! I was just kidding before!! I swear! I have a wife and kids at home!!" Dogura's eyes softened, as he too loved at one point. "Listen. If word gets out about where Im going, or who Im with. I'll hunt you and your family down. Do I make myself clear?" The man nodded jerking his head up and down. "Get out of here." The samurai commanded, letting the man escape. Dogura once again, took off to re-group with his comrades in Rauru Town. Dogura still wondered if the decision of letting the man go would haunt him. None the less, he was almost there. And nothing would stop him from reaching the doors of the Stock Pot Inn.
OOC: Felt the urge to post that guys. Having a smooth trip to Rauru after killing Knights at the ornery Cucco would have been far to convenient for my samurai.

"I will stop you, murder just doesn't seem to suit you." Said Sovelis as he stepped out from behind a tree." Dogura, what has happened to you. Your different." Sovelis said as he leaned on his staff. "what am I gonna do with you? "
OoC: You don't mind this, do you?

Dogura stood, his back to the man, sword caked in blood. "If they hadnt tried to stop me. I would have taken no life." He said, as he turned around. A look of exhilleration on his face. "They asked for a taste of my power... a nd I drowned them in it." The samurai said, cleaning his sword in the grass. "If I had let them get back to town, they definately would have spoken to the king about me, and where I was going. To respect the sanctity of the meeting that I'm going to, I cannot let words cross over ears that I cannot trust..." He turned his head up just enough to see Sovelis's feet. "I can trust you... cant I Sovelis?" He stood up, not sheathing his sword, which meant trouble for the tempest. "I believe I heard you say you were going to stop me... Is that the case?" He asked, eyes cold. "And for your information... I havent changed. I care for my friends, and my friends alone. I couldnt care less about the King or his henchmen. Now you tell me. Are you going to let me pass? Or are you going to make this hard?...

Tayro could not believe his own eyes.
The boy was quietly walking through the Hyrule Fields, feeling somewhat relaxed as he slowly walked towards his destination - the next meeting of the Twilight Guardians, the guild recently formed under Alpha to which the boy was a member. Some time before, there had been a slightly big commotion in the Ornery Cucco Tavern, a pub back in the Town Square of Hyrule Castle Town, which involved a little struggle between the guild and the King's troops, hence why the meeting had to be moved to Rauru Town for a bit of peace. Everything seemed to be going fine during this quiet stroll through the vivid grass of the fields. That is, quiet until the mage apprentice started nearing the Deku Woods. That's when he saw one of his fellow guildmates, the samurai, Dogura. What he also saw, the teenager preferred not to.
A group of the rotten King's henchmen strayed from a caravan, what it pertaining to unknown at the time. A troupe of traveling merchants guarded by the Hylian Guards? A means of transport to the soldiers? Well, whatever it was, it meant trouble, and the boy felt compelled to go and aid his friend in battle against those men, so that they could just tie them on a tree, or something like that. As he hastened his pace, he witnessed the fight start, as well as another man, one he knew, although only barely, Sovelis, approach the area as well. Still, he payed no interest to the latter as it started. Tayro could not believe his eyes at what was occurring right before him. Without a hint of pity, the Vagabond slayed, cut, murdered the Knights. The boy stopped dead on his tracks as he observed the Ranger do as he willed, sentencing to death three of those innocent men. This cannot be... Dogura slaying innocent lives? Yes, they might be against us, but they're mere puppets of the man! They're innocents, the ones we were to defend! - the boy thought as he witnessed the whole scene. Only then did he notice Sovelis approach the samurai, and due to his own curiosity of the man's excuse to such act of madness, the boy perched up his ears as to, even at a distance, hear clearly what they were speaking.
And was again shocked as he heard Dogura incite the Human to duel with him, his voice cold and unfeeling. The boy just felt the need to go there and aid Sovelis in this battle, but at the same time decided not to. If the samurai had so easily defeated the guards, the boy was unsure if he would be able to stop him. Besides, that murder being in the Twilight Guardians could mean trouble to everyone. They had to be warned. And so, the boy hastened towards and through the Deku Woods, taking the longer path - yet the one more distant to that madman - to Rauru, so that he could warn his friends of the occurrence. The Hylian just hoped that Sovelis would be able to resist the samurai's power.

"I will do my best. You yourself know taht I'm much more of a challenge than the guards. I warn you, I've become stronger since we last met. I will not stand by and watch lives be snuffed out. What gave you the right? Those men had families. Some of them probably had a wife and children waiting. I could atempt to mend their broken bodies and bring back their souls, but I lack the skill. I could barly manage to drag myself out of my own grave a while back. You do know that IF you slay me here, I will only rise agian? I cannot pass beyond the gate that we Tempest's go to when our lives are at the end. I'll tell you about it later, but now, we will cross swords." Sovelis cast aside his staff, outer robes, and pack. "We will se which of us will rise above the other. One whom has been trained in the arts of the sword, or one who learned from the memories of men long dead?" Sovelis flexed his real arm. "I haven't had a good fight in a long time." He took off his upper robe and drew his sword, the mighty Tempest Blade, a katana that could be a long distant twin to the one Dogura held. "I don't enjoy having to fight you, but I must live up to my vow. A Tempest can never turn a blind eye to any evil, no matter what the intent behind it." Sovelis gripped his sword with both his real hand, and his mechanical one, right over left. Taking an open pose, he crouched, waiting for Dogura to make a move....
OoC: I hope you don't mind if this is a RP batle instead of a stat-battle. Stat battles don't last as long, and RPing is so fun!

OOC: Normally, I would agree with you. But never before, have I had a stat battle with another player. Alpha agreed to MOD this battle earlier, so we'll stick with stat battling for now! And besides, Dogura would be late for the TG meeting
IC: Dogura said nothing. Instead, he reached inside his armor, and pulled out a shining gold locked. He opened it, and gazed at the contents, remembering love at it's best... he closed the locket, and gripped it tightly. "Sovelis... You cannot die... You will only suffer the horrors of death again and again... Never had I thought that it would be by the tip of my blade..." The samurai tucked the golden stone away, and raised a hand into the air, then closing it into a fist. "I gave your chance Sovelis. Never did I intend to fight you... In fact, it was I who once prevented your death. Knowing that you will only return from the dead, If the chance presents itself, I wont hesitate to take your life!" Dogura closed his eyes, and listened to the wind howl.
I have a meeting to make it to. If you dont mind, I'm going to make this quick. The Vagabond fell backwards, and landed in a shadow as if it were a lake behind him. The sun was beginning to set. In about a half hour, it would be dark... the entire land would be covered in shadow... And Dogura has never lost a battle at night. "Perhaps you have grown stronger Sovelis!" His voice called out from many directions. "But then again... So have I!!" He shouted launching out of a nearby tree, headed straight for the Tempest, sword pointed outward, like a pointy bullet!
OOC: Alright Alpha, just write if hits, or misses, and Sovelis and I can be detailed about it.

OOC: Yes, I am more than happy to moderate this fight for you guys.
First things first, we need to get some accurate stats for the two of you. I know, ZV, you told me you redid your stats this morning; I'm checking them again, just in case. Now then, for Dogura the stats should be:

OOC: Man that was short.

OOC: Thanks Alpha! Im okay with my stats, but how did you do Sovelis's stats? His profile is a mess (no offense Sovs) and it would be nearly impossible to tell whats right. But whatever, Its all good!
IC: Dogura shot past the man. Somehow the tempest had manged to dodge Dogura's attack. Dogura flipped backwards, an planted both feet on the ground, skidding backwards, leaving a cloud of dust in front of him. It was impossible to see past the dust cloud, and whatever the Tempest was doing on the otherside was a mystery. Dogura calmed himself down, and opened his senses, awaiting action from his opponent.

OoC: Naw, its all good,
IC: Sovelis watched his opponent closly and cast a spell. "ELEMENTAL BURST!" He shot the spell at Dogura and watched for a counter-attack.

OOC: Elementary, my dear Dogura! All I did was use the Rules Set to find the base stats for a Human, Scholar//Mage, at Level 16. Then I just used what skills he had listed as owning to figure out the rest. Nothing too difficult there.
IC:
Sovelis's Elemental Burst takes on the element of Earth (3[Roll]). Dogura takes the full 22 DMG (17+1[Roll+SPI] vs. 20).
Dogura: 08 HP, 19 SPL
Sovelis: 33 HP, 48 SPL

Dogura took the devistating attack, and fell back, slightly bleeding on his head. "Some attack Sovelis." He called out, raising his hands into the air. "But the goddesses are in my favor, or so to speak! [Favor of the Goddesses] Dogura prepared to let the healing process begin, as he knelt in prayer.

Dogura's Innate Check succeeds (20+7[Roll+INT]). The Favor of the Goddesses activates, restoring half of his HP to the Ranger.
Dogura: 24 HP, 19 SPL
Sovelis: 33 HP, 48 SPL
OOC: I don't feel like I'm doing anything . . . I never thought it would be this hard to write only one or two lines worth of material . . .

OoC: Don't feel bad Alpha, your only human.
IC: Sovelis was suprised at the effectivness of his spell. "Wow...that was powerfull. Dogura, I don't want to have to kill you, but I am better at this than you are. You can keep healing, but you'll run out of magic before I do, so lets end this now. ELEMENTAL EXPLOSION!!!" Sovelis cast his strongest element-based spell at his foe, hoping to end this quickly.

OOC: lol, true enough, Sovelis. But you try writing something of the length and amount of detail of, say, Master Search Part 5, or Force of Gold Part 1, and then see how easy it is for you to do a simple, two or three line post.
IC:
Sovelis' Elemental Explosion takes on the element of Shadow (6 [Roll]) - not good for a Hylian. Dogura is unable to resist the attack (12+1[Roll+SPI]), and takes the full force of the attack. 22 DMG is taken at first, with an additional 6 DMG (elemental weakness) coming soon after. With a total of 28 DMG taken, Dogura is defeated.
Dogura: 0 HP, 19 SPL
Sovelis: 33 HP, 34 SPL

OOC: I wish I was level 17 Congratulations Sovelis!
IC: Dogura fell to his knees in defeat. "Damn... To be destroyed by that which I thrived in... What sorcery is this?..." Dogura passed out, and fell to the ground in a heap of dust. Suddenly, his body began to jerk around, and he slowly stood up. The pupils of his eyes looked like gears of a machine, only they were bright yellow, and the whites of his eyes had turned black. "You... Dogura himself was far too weak... If only he had not restrained my power... We together could have crushed you. As soon as I take over... things will be different..."There was no doubt that Shadowclaw was in complete controll for the moment, as the voice was double toned, and deeper than the samurai's. Then, Dogura collapsed once more, and layed there jerking around, until his body lay still...
