It was dusk the sun was at its lowest point still showing its self before it set. When a small figure a rises from the horizon about one kilometer away if not less. You try and make out the features of the mysterious figure but you can only make out its outline. As it nears you can see that its a person about six feet tall, give or take a few inches. As time passes the figure is only a few hundred yards away, you can now make out his other features he has a long brownish-gray beard long hair and is wearing a cloak to protect him from the windy climate.
As the sun was seting the man arrived at the castle gates, and as he walked on the draw bridge he only took a quick glance at you without moving his head and steaded down the bridge. He wore a brown cloak and looked very weak at the sight of his pale face and his eye nearly white. As the man reached the stone of the town squares ground he stood there very still nothing was moving it seemed as he examaned his new surroundings. "Hm this would do" He said in a very faint voice, you could easily tell that this man was in need of water and by the sound of his voice it seemed he never had water in days. The man takes a glance over his right shoulder and says "Do you by any chance know where there is an inn i can shelter myself in for a day or two" the man seemed to be very weak at the time but you stood there not thinking to anwser him not knowning what he'll say? "Very well i know when someone shuns me..." The weak man said, and walked away at a stedy pace. But after a couple steps he stumbels and is forced to lean against a brick wall of a house.

OOC: Firstly: Welcome to TDC's Hyrule Adventures II, Athint! Already I can tell you're going to be a great member to have around the game. Your post's length was incredible for a newcomer, and although there are a few grammar mistakes, that's perfectly normal for a new joiner. After all, this game is all about improving writing skills (well, mainly it's for having a good time). If you need any advice on posting, game rules and RPing habits, feel perfectly free to send a Private Message to me, and I'll be happy to help you out any time!

Blank was sneaking through the castle town silently, avoiding as many people as he could. Every single person here was familiar looking; the usual riffraff of North Castle. In his hand he held his flask, sipping it every so often. It was a rare case for the nomad to be carrying water in the container, but he was unable to return to the Ornery Cuccoo Tavern. Instead he had dipped the flask in the fountain and continued on his way. He had to get out of this town quickly; if Alpha or the others knew he was giving up his cover so easily they would likely be furious.
It was at this point that he saw a stranger. With so many of the usual Hyruleans walking about the Courtyard, it was difficult task to spot the Human propped up against the wall. He looked absolutely terrible, in the sense that he was obviously dehydrated. Perhaps Blank had filled his flask with water under some divine prophecy that he would meet the parched traveler that day. He was already walking at a quick pace, but he instantly ran towards the shunned man.
"Thank the goddesses I happened to be walking along here, stranger. You look as though you haven't had a drink in days!" The Hylian uncapped his flask and handed the drink to the bearded man. "Drink it. It's just water. If you aren't partial to ale then you're lucky I'm a wanted man," joked Blank with a chuckle. "Tell me, stranger, what's your name, and what brings you to this castle?

Sprawled out on the roof of a nearby liquor store, Dogura listened to the wind howl, compromising his existance. The roof was hard, and a bit uncomfortable, but the samurai didnt seem to care. The gentle humid breeze caressed his face, as he watched the rain clouds dance in the dark blue sky. The vagabond always did enjoy a little rain every now and again. He was almost oblivious as to what was going on just below him. What caught his attention was the familiar voice of a certain Nomad. It wasn't the fact that the man was simply passing by, but more the words that reached Dogura's Hylian ears. It sounded as if a once again Blank's heart was too big for him to simply pass a bum on the street. I swear, that man will go bankrupt if he lends a hand to every beggar in need. The samurai rolled his eyes, and decided to see what the commotion was about. Dogura grabbed his sheath and used an arm to propell himself over the side of the roof. Landing, the first thing he noticed was the aged man under Blank's care. Tucking the sheathed sword into the belt at his side, Dogura knelt next to the man.
He didn't bother asking the same question Blank had already asked. The man was slightly wrinkled with age. His tall stature and broad face told many stories of years passed. The man's chapped and withered lips proved that he hadn't had a drink of water, or anything for that matter in quite some time. Dogura examined the man, and then glanced at Blank. As if a convorsation had just taken place Dogura nodded to Blank, and made sure the man was swallowing the water being given to him. His face was pale, and it was imparitive to his health that he is properly hydrated. Dogura in no way questioned the man's intelect, but rather his rupees. The man would provide for himself if he wasn't broke. Dogura thought, removing a yellow rupee from his armor. "This is for you. I suggest you pay for a room. Most Inns around here offer a free breakfest and dinner for customers." Dogura stated, leaning against the wall, eyeing the stranger cautiously.
OOC: Welcome. And yeah, for every post you make, you get a rupee. I just donated 10 of them to you for your lengthy post as a new commer. Once again, welcome.

As the man drank up the water quiet swiftly> When he was done he took the container and handed it to the stranger you gave it to him in the first place. "Thank you so much kind sir."He spoke in his weak voice "And if you most know my name is Athint Aroyen, its been days sence i had a decent drink. These past days have been cruel to me for i am the only survivor of a rather violent wreack out at the desert." the man paused to catch his breath "I was lost in that desert for about four days it was dreadfull my whole flet gone and my king. Dead not even able to see the light of day. But Why did i live and not them what did i do to live. After all i knight without a kigdom to protect is only a half a knight" he said "I am sorry i most be wasting your time. If you dont mind may i take my leave" He said looking at the man waiting for him to repley.

OOC: Welcome indeed
IC: There he was; the renowned Nogare - the son of Grey Blade. The newest generation of the Blades was his, as well as his cousins, who took no part in this part of the story. As he ambled down the lane, people would catch the attention of their companions, and point to him, making excited comments. This man had faced evil and death in the face so many time, knowing evil, and has cut it down many times.
A couple murmured to one another. The wife pressed for Nogare. "There is Sir Nogare, greatest Knight in all of Hyrule!" she said.
The husband's head kicked back in surprise. "What are you talking about! We all know that Link is the greatest of the heroes ever to live in this time!"
Defensively, the wife stated, "Saving the Princess time after time is one thing, as well as being very strong... but another thing is that Link is not noble like this hero. Link didn't care for the people, he only cared about Zelda. Perhaps Link's fathers before him were more noble, but not of this time! Nogare is by far the greatest knight to live in this time!" And so their debate mildly continued.
Nogare, being at the other end of the stone-laid street, took no note of them. He only walked on, admiring the coming of night - he felt the air on his arms, and smiled as the calm wind breezed his brown hair back. The twilight was soothing for him - as it should be; the air outside cooling him off, having been on so many adventures in the past year. He had, after on, finished killing off the man he had long sought to kill; Kasei. The death finally taking place was something to celebrate.
With his left hand he used his now famous spear, Belegcam, as a walking stick, and with his right he held his flute and played a tune that he liked, extending his fingers to reach the flute holes. The tune was somewhat eerie, but was not saddening or dark. The description would be too detailed to say in a single paragraph, and would hold back the story, so I will say no more of it.
Then, his bladed ears twitched as he heard someone crying beside him. He turned, and eyed a young beggar, asking for money. "Help! I have no money to support my family! Someone!" He was panicking, and for good reason.
Nogare, after thinking for a brief moment, sheathed his flute into a flute pouch of his, which his food friend Elenlin had given him. With a smile, he went to the younger lad. "Here, friend. Take this much." He pulled the opening of his wallet, contracting its hole. He scrabbled through it, and pulled out a purple rupee. "Take it."
"But..."
"No, it's my pleasure." He bowed to the young man, and continued down the path.
The other lad, his age roughly twenty, examined the almost azure rupee. Another Deku came to his side, stating, "Lad! That's a Hylian Knight's week's pay!" The two looked together at the knight. The bold, strong willed Hylian walked on, whistling now with his mouth rather than his flute. "That Nogare man is some man!"
It was then that Nogare saw three figures. He instantly recognized two of them; Dogura and Blank! He had been with them in many of his adventures in the past. But who was the third?
Nogare approached. "Hello. How are my good friends here? And who is this new face? I haven't seen you around here before..."
He took note of the man's weakness. "Are you well? What happened?"
OOC: Are you curious as to how come I'm writing so well now? It's because it was exactly one year from today that I signed up for Hyrule Adventure Two! Isn't that great!

Blank took the flask from the weary traveler, who had revealed himself to be Athint Ayoren. It all made sense now... Well, truthfully, nothing made sense. Blank had never heard of a man named Athint in all his life. This did not surprise him, however, because he had never expected to know this man. Athint was a stranger, through and through. Sealing the small drink container - which was now emptied - he worked to console the man. The Hylian returned Dogura's nod, but said nothing to the samurai. Inside his head, he laughed wondering what Dogura was doing in the town as well. The two men were supposed to be wanted; their lives were on the line with every passing second.
"Tantari, you say?" questioned the nomad, intrigued by the mention of the seemingly cursed wasteland. "I don't visit there often anymore... what kinds of plagues could be brewing there to wipe out an entire regiment of Knights? Tell us, Athint, what kingdom do you hail from, and who was your king?" Athint seemed rather disturbed by the event, having lost every comrade and his leader. It appeared that the only thing keeping him alive at that very moment was the desire to find out exactly why he was so. Blank could sympathize this turmoil, but his true concern was helping the cloaked man get to shelter, where accommodations could be made.
It was then that he noticed Nogare. Turning his head, he smiled - after all, he had not seen Nogare in ages. "No worries, Nogare, we're just helping this poor fellow to the nearest Inn." Although he was good friends with the Knight, speaking to someone under the command of the King was awkward. Legally, Nogare should have turned the two "treasonous" men over by now. Blank sighed in relief that that was not the case.

Dogura stared blankly at Blank. "Blank, the man just asked to leave. Still you proceed to ask questions?" Suddenly, a North Castle guard appeared around the corner of the liquor store, and his eyes widened. "Y-you! You men (hic) are wanted murders! I h(hic) have to alert..." He collapsed in mid sentence. "Hah! A light weight." Dogura chuckled, standing the man against the wall, and pulling his helmet cover down over his face, so as to make it seem as if he were on guard. The samurai watched the dark blue sky slowly fade to a deep purple. Night was nearly upon them, and it had been a good month since Dogura had slept. "Well, I would love to stay and chat, but I nearly forgot I was wanted." The samurai turned, and began sinking into one of the many shadows created by the thick of night. "Another time my good men. Good luck to you both." It was at that very moment that Nogare had appeared. "Oh, hello Nog-rmf" Dogura's head dissapeared beneath the thick blanket of darkness, and the air grew still.

Nogare smiled and nodded to his friends. Though seeing Blank sigh with relief, he squinted an eye vaguely, and turned his head slightly, though still keeping eye contact. "You think I'd turn in my old friend?" Nogare asked, as though reading his mind (though really he wasn't). "And believe me when I say that I trust you two well enough to know that you are not going to harm the society of the citadel..." As he said these words, he took a brief glance over to Dogura, having lost trust in him for a time back when he had been invited to Dogura's home, and they had embarked on their journey of refuge. He continued his conversation: "In fact, I would like to even award you with a reward for your good deeds in Hyrule, but I doubt that the King will understand. For reasons, I do not understand myself."
His attention went to Dogura instantly when he disappeared. He prepared Belegcam instantly, and pointed it towards the shadows, and stepped inside. "Who goes there?!"

The weak Athint looked at the one known as Blank with a very calm voice but as the question what kingdom do you hail a face of anger and disspear took apon his face. "My king has of no importance. He will not like it very much if the people of this kingdom know of his name," He said completly skipping the first question without a care. "But as soon as i am fully rested i shall go up north and give them a proper buriall".
Athint looked at the man who just recently appeared and is known as Nogare as mentioned by the one known as Blank, "I see your very well known in these parts" he said in his weak voice, "But they must have there reasons to look at you in amazement like that. So tell me what have you done for this kingdom that makes you have such high profile?" Athint asked as he got off the wall and looks to the heavans to sea how clear the sky was but the blackest of clouds that he never seen in his long years of his life. "Hm i guesse this kingdom has its fare share of wars dose it not?".

Athint took a pace forward and stumpled a little as he did so then he heard a voice speak and looked at the girl with only a quick glance after she talked to the highly respected knight. Then when she directed her voice to him he looked at her and spoke in his low weak voice, "My name is Athint Aroyen," after he was finished he no longer looked at the girl and looked at the one know as Nogare "Have you no hearing Nogare or you do not wish to speak," he said in his old weak voice.

Leth was returning from another one of his 'wanderings' that he does so often. Trailing behind him was Karuna the goron and Drommlin the human, while polari the minish sat on his shoulder. Suddnely, Polari whispers into Leth's ear. Turning, Leth notices the newcomer and those gathered around him. He approaches. "Hail, fellow traveler!" He says enthusiasticly. "I am Leth the ranger, at your service." He bowed low. "These are my traveling companions. They are Drommlin, otherwise known as Drom, Polari and Karuna. What brings you to North Castle?"

OOC: Sorry! My dad took away the internet at home for a while!
IC: Nogare shivered as he felt the presenceof Aria. He could just imagine her envy upon him at this time, having just recently killed her husand, Kasei. BUt it was for good purpose, he knew.
The knight bowed to Athint for the compliment. BUt when Athint said Hyrule had its fair share of war, he shook his head. "Unfair share, I'm afraid. Calatia is burning from the Exiles of Mountain Death in the South, and the East is attacked by Great Palace, while we stand alone and useless."
