Worru rested on a rock, lying on his back as he stared into the endless Hylian sky. And why? Because he was bored. So very, very bored. He was tired from adventuring, and wanted to rest, but instead of resting, he was reflecting. I'm thankful I'm not as old as Dogura or Kasei. They must have harder times reflecting on life. he thought, before he closed his eyes, and let the power of the flashback take over his mind.

[flashback][fuzzy edges for effect]

Labufa Gerudo, the widowed, unmarried wife of Reginald Worruson, sits on the platform before the Clock Tower, centerpiece of the aptly named Clock Town. Next to her, sleeping soundly, is her son, Worru Worruson Gerudo. She smiles, looking up at the moon, now coming to a rest on the horizon, as the sun rises to replace the ivory orb. I have to hurry before anyone wakes up... she thinks, waking up the 10-year old so they can make a run for it.

Leaping over the head of the slumbering guard, Labufa makes her way to Great Bay, the only place she is safe. As the sun rises fully, she slows down to a walk, entering the base of the Gerudo Pirates, where she is allowed to live. Before doing so, she stops at the entrance to the home of the Zora, where her boy lives, safe in the care of the amphibious people.

Worru groggily enters the cavern, before resting his head on the wall to finish his sleep. About an hour later, he is awoken by a splash from one of the early riser Zora, telling him that the beach is perfect right now, an offer that the boy couldn't refuse.

Some minutes later, he is out on the beach, spralwed out in the sand, as he looks to the sky. All is calm, until the next time Worru opens his eyes, that is.

Worru jumps up from the sand, looking around to capture the strange, new settings. He stands on a beach, next to an ocean that is bordered by a strange fog, one that seems almost sentient. Behind him, there is a lush jungle, where a figure slowly emerges.

It is an 11 foot tall humanoid, wearing black and red clothing, with a silver cape, large metal kneepads, inscripted with five runes, and large metal boots, the front of which seem almost blade-like. He has messy black hair that hides his ears, eyes that are completely blue, and metal hands, with three bone-white claws for fingers. With a voice that seems so calm and understanding, he speaks.

"Hello, Worru. I am Being, one of the Three Kings."

Worru looks dumbfounded at the insanely tall man, who merely chuckles. "Do not fear me, Worru. I am a friend." says Being, holding out his hand, which Worru subconciously takes.

Being leads Worru through the jungle, taking him into a laybrinth of caverns, lit by torches, lanturns, light-giving crystals, and an occasional glowing jellyfish, swimming around in rounded, cylindrical tubes. Being is silent, as the two enter a huge cavern, with seemingly naturally-formed bookshelves and pedistals.

Worru looks around with wonder and amazement, before he stops right where he stands. He is frozen with fear, as a smile and two blood red eyes form above his shoulder.

"Welcome to my parlor, said the Smiley to the fly..."

It said, letting a long, snake-like tounge slip out. As the eyes and mouth dissapear, another figure appears in the room, one standing on a cliff overlooking the cavern.

It is a short humanoid, being only some five feet tall. He has a black and white suit on, with a large black cape on his back. His right hand is mechanical, with five slightly clawed fingers, connected to the rest of him by a blue sphere in place of a wrist. He had blood red eyes, black and white hair, which mirrored his suit, and his most distinguishable feature, the same one that gave him his name, his large set of sparkling white teeth.

"Smiley, don't scare the boy." said Being, looking to see Worru still standing where he was when he entered the room. Smiley groaned, before faling back into a large stone throne, one that allowed him a perfect view of the entire cavern. "Fine then. Just get the boy out of here. I don't want anyone I can't use in my cavern." he said, giving a near-death glare at Being. Being smirked, before taking Worru down another tunnel.

As they got deeper and deeper into this tunnel, fog appeared, and thickened, and before long, they were in a room with only fog. Slowly, the fog moved away from the center of the room, revealing a mess of either dark green, or dark purple cloth. Part of it raised, revealing a hole, filled with nothing but blackness, but you could tell there was something within it.

A thin tendril of fog stretched out, writing in the air before Being and Worru, speaking for the cloth on the ground. Being, is this Worru? The one Dennis is to meet?, it wrote, asking with a silent voice. "Yes, Emege. And, I believe the fellow's name is Ryokiden." answered back Being, as an eye formed from the fog as well, looking over Worru. As it finished, it blinked three times, then exploded into several wisps of fog.

I don't know where he is. But he might be on the Flatlands. wrote the fog, as the cloth, presumibly Emege, lowered its hood back down. "Worru, come with me." said Being, as if Worru needed to be told. He was freaked out by both Smiley and Emege, what with the former's strange trick he pulled, and the latter with his strange fog.

After more walking through tunnels, Being and Worru appeared in a room shaped like a hemisphere. As they stood in the middle of the room, a light blue circle appeared above them, and four light blue half-circles formed before and behind, as well as to both sides, of the two. Several hundred rectangular screens formed around them, just as Being created ten-plus silver orbs, which went to the screens, and with long, curved, blade-like fingers, they began pressing on the screens, looking for information.

After some time had passed, one of the orbs took a screen, formed it into the size of a regular compass, and flicked it over to Worru on a long, curved, blade-like thumb. "What's this for?" asked Worru, speaking for the first time. "Follow that compass. It will lead you to a person that will help you." said Being, transporting Worru back to the jungle from before.

Worru looked at the compass. It had no symbols for North, South, East or West, just a large R with an arrow above it. He followed the compass, noticing that nothing seemed to live in the jungle, but he did notice strange berries that grew in the lush vegatation. Taking a chance, he reached out to grab one, but it fizzed away at his touch, as Worru felt like he was reenergized.

Walking along, deeper and deeper into the jungle, Worru came upon a large, open, flat area of black stone, and on it, a figure in the distance. As he neared the figure, he noticed that it looked just like him, except older, maybe seventeen. He had red hair, which was spiked, large clawed gauntlets, with a spike that extended to guard the elbows of the person. He was also wearing huge boots, ones with the sense of a powerful machine around them.

"Where the hell is that boy!? They told me, "Ryk, if you meet this boy, you can leave the island." Well, here I am! And do I see anyone else? NO!" he ranted, before he turned, and found himself face-to-face with Worru.

Ryk jumped back, looking the boy over. "So, you're Worru, eh? Name's Ryokiden, but you can call me Ryk." he said, changing from annoyed anger, to what could be confused with niceness. He extended his clawed hand for Worru to shake, but when the boy didn't, Ryk laughed. "Sorry, boyo. Forgot that when people touch these claws, they happen to bleed. A lot." he said, sounding like he was making a joke.

Afte Ryk brought Worru back to Being, he dissapeared. "Where did that guy go?" asked Worru, looking up at Being. With a smirk, Being said, "He's with you. Just don't try talking to him in public.", before Worru found himself back on Great Bay, just as the sun fell behind the horizon. Boy, am I gonna have a story for mom he thought, before racing to Clock Town.

Worru opened his eyes, to be greeted with the sight of another sun falling behind that far-off line. He sat up on the rock, before mumbling, "I just hope she's still alive..."

OOC: There. Both the longest post I ever made, and a small explination of Worru's past. Feel free to either post on the story, or RP.

OOC: Bravo! Why is everyone doing better than me?

IC: It was a cool day in the field. Kasei had nothing better to do than wade in the water, and head north to the forest. It was times like this that Kasei began to truly thank the gods for letting him live so long, and enjoy it. While he was thinking, he happened across Worru in deep thought. The rebel flame approached, not knowing what Worru might do. "Hey, Worru. Why are you all the way out here by yourself?" Kasei asked.

Worru kept his eyes closed, as a smile formed on his face. "About three years ago, my mom brought me to the ruins of Kakariko, and left me in Hyrule. I haven't seen her since." he said, before he layed back on the rock. "I was just thinking about home." As he said this, his eyes shot open, and he looked at Kasei, somewhat annoyed. "Why isn't Aria with you?" he asked.

Kasei saw the annoyed look on Worru's face, but the mercinary knew that Worru liked living. Kasei then heard Worru's question. "Aria? She's somewhere in the deku woods. Thats one of her favorite places, ya know." Kasei said. He smiled, feeling for Worru. The two had a similar discussion in the rock...

"Dangit." muttered Worru, before laying back on the rock. He wasn't going to go all the way over to the Deku woods just to see Aria. Well, he wouldn't make himself, but Ryk on the other hand...

Worru quickly changed into Ryk's form, stretching before he made his way over there. "Well, I'll go see if she is there." he said, the demonic tone not there as he was the one in control at the time. With a quick movement, he dashed away on all fours, heading straight for the woods.
