Outside Ruto Town limits stood two women. Sisters, to be precise. The shorter of the two had a look of apprehension on her face, and the other plainly didn't look interested in anything. Although that was soon replaced with concern as she turned and looked down at her little sister and said, "Are you sure you can go through this, Hyneria?"

The thief nodded her head. "Let's just wait to see if Xokorn helps us again," she said. "If he doesn't come by nightfall, we'll continue."

After an hour of waiting in the midday sun, a small girl came up to them. Except one couldn't really confuse her as a small girl, for she looked more like a full grown woman, but shorter, shorter than even Hyneria. And then there were the gossamer wings poking through her cloak and cradling her long, light brown hair. "Hello, Hyneria," she said, shyness in her voice. "Seth said you might need some help."

The Sheikah nodded. "Your help would be appreciated. If only we had Seth's help as well."

"You know he can't interfere unless you have proof other than your word that Kantoro is your son."

Hyneria sighed. "I know. Well, Natasha, this is my sister, Marisa Ikana. Marisa, this is Natasha, a mid-faerie."

Marisa nodded her head, glad that the small woman hadn't offered to shake hands. "Odd seeing a mid-faerie on the western continent," she said, disinterest in her voice as usual. "I thought they all lived on the eastern continent."

"I just wanted a change of scenery," the mid-faerie said timidly, looking over at Hyneria.

The thief smiled. "Don't worry about her. She just isn't social."

"For good reason," the swordmaster muttered in Sheikah.

"Are we waiting for someone?" Natasha asked.

"Nightfall," the short Sheikah replied. "I'm hoping a Sheikah mage by the name of Xokorn will show up."

OOC: Cue Xokorn!

OOC: Xokorn has been cued! :D

IC: All day, Xokorn had seemed to follow the sun's path like some kind of traveller following a path in the sky. For that reason, the sun seemed to move more slowly than usual. It was obviously compassionate enough to pace itself to give him light to follow the trail to Ruto Town to finish his summoning. Yes, that must've been it.

After a while, the sun would be but a crimson-red hemisphere cut by the western horizon, continuously seeming to be crushed by the might of the earth. Twilight would flood the sky as if it were bleeding. The white stars of the night sky would soon follow to once again lament the passing of Sol. But soon after, it would be reborn, and everything would begin all over again.

Fortunately, the sun wasn't even close to the horizon, giving Xokorn plenty of time to search for the two women whom he had met a few days earlier. It took quite a bit of running, but he eventually caught up with the two...no, three. There was someone else with them. She was short and could've easily been mistaken for a child, especially at the distance he was from them, but she certainly had the body of a grown woman. No matter who this new face was, though, he approached the women anyway.

"Exhmira," he said, flaring up his presence. "I have arrived. You still wish for assistance, no?"

OOC: ...And this post has been edited. I really do need to pay more attention to specific details.

Douglas stood, allowing the sun to hit him, full-on, with its powerful rays. He had been standing like this for some time now, only moving to look up at the sky, searching for a large shadow that would be up there.

As he gre tired of waiting, he sat down, cross-legged, still only looking at the sky, until he saw something that caught his eye. Near Ruto Town were two women, and one girl. At least, it looked like a girl. He couldn't tell. He was just a human, after all. Soon after he saw them, a man in a black cloak walked up to them. Douglas began to get intrigued. They seemed to be talking about something, and he was quite sure it wasn't the weather.

Looking back up tot he sky, he saw a large shadow, one that was nearing where he sat. Douglas stretched out an arm, and the shadow, a falcon with blue feathers in places, landed, before also looking at the group of people. "Know anything about them?" asked Douglas to the falcon, before the falcon jumped off his arm, and began to draw pictures into the grounf with his talons.

There where three eyes, each with three triangles over them, and one large circle with a wing-like appendage on the side. "So, you say that you think they are three Sheikah, and a Fairy?" asked Douglas, before the Falcon nodded to reply. "Well, it might be good to introduce ourselves, wouldn't it?" he said, before the falcon jumped up to sit on the metal shoulder plate that Douglas wore, the only bit of visible armor he did.

With all that said and done, Douglas and Seven made their way to the group, with no knowledge of what he might be getting into.

OOC: And there he is. Hello, I'm Nathael. Thank you HNS for letting me in this.

OOC: Glad to have you here, Nathael!

IC: Xokorn barely got into talking with the three women before a man with a falcon on his shoulder approached from behind him. They didn't startle him, but he was still concerned about whether they were good or ill. He turned to face him, the magic inside him at the ready should the situation get ugly. "You're not one of Xokomar's minions, are you?"

Douglas raised his arms in defense. "I mean you no harm." he said, looking at the robed man. "I just saw you people talking, and I began to wonder if I could help, since you people seem to be starting on a quest of some kind." he added, before putting his arms back down. "I don't know of this 'Xokomar' fellow, and neither does Seven." he says, pointing at the falcon.

Hyneria returned Xokorn's greeting. Natasha said nothing, only nodding her head, and Marisa only grunted. Hyneria continued speaking to the mage, saying, "Some help might be nice."

And then the human with the strangely colored falcon walked up to them. Xokorn began his interrogation of the man. After the man answered, Natasha spoke up, her voice shy as usual, "He's telling the truth."

Hyneria nodded. She then let out a little chuckle. "Do we really look like we're about to start a quest?" she asked, amusement in her voice. "Observant. I suppose you could call it a quest. We're off on our way to get my son back from his father. If you think you and your bird can provide us some help, then by all means, please tag along."

"I wish you wouldn't do this to me," Marisa muttered in Infernal.

Her sister ignored her and continued, "My name is Hyneria Ikana, and this is my sister, Marisa Ikana." She pointed to the tallest woman present. Gesturing to the final Sheikah, she said, "This is Xokorn. And finally, this is Natasha, a mid-faerie." She placed her hands on the shoulders of the shortest humanoid figure. "And you are?"

OOC: Now then, try not to get too far ahead of me now. I have family from Pennsylvania visiting, and it is the 4th of July, so I do have to go hang out with them. Joy. Most of my cousins are young little monkies and the rest have no interest in anything I'm interested in. Oh well. I might at least get a hair cut.

Douglas nodded in acknowledgement. "I am Cap-" Seven pecked him on the back of his head, bringing to attention the mistake he would've made. "I am Douglas Jay F. At your service." he said, introducing himself. "This is Seven, my ally." he points to the falcon, who bows. "I'd be happy to help you." Douglas said, making his decision.

Xokorn then got out of his defense mode, and his energy started to cool. "Sorry. One can't be too careful out here, you know? Anyone could be working for Xokomar. Anyway, it's nice to meet you, Douglas." The man sure seemed friendly. From what his senses could tell, he found no deception in his eyes. One less person to resist.

Marisa and Hyneria eyed each other as Douglas introduced himself. It sounded like he was about to say "Captain," but they decided to let it go if a falcon was stopping him.

Natasha, on the other hand, temporarily forgot her own shyness long enough to respond to Xokorn. "You apparently have never lived in Ruto Town before. Xokomar Ikana is the most hated person in Ruto. Just about his whole family is known around here for manipulating the laws to their own corrupt ends. And if there isn't a law for them to manipulate, then they create laws they can manipulate. If a man or woman works for Xokomar, then he comes with them for two reasons. He pays mercenaries he hire before they begin their job or to see if he can get away with it."

"I never heard you talk so much at one time before," Hyneria said with a smirk, causing the faerie to blush. The Sheikah barked out a laugh.

"So how did you plan on getting Kantoro?" Marisa asked, looking at her sister. "I suppose the time you were unnaturally quiet on the way here was used to think of a plan?"

The thief nodded her head. "I just sneak in a window, grab him, and go. Simple as that. You guys will just be extra eyes for me."

"It's not that simple. The first law of hiring mercenaries is to either stay and watch them complete the job, or only pay half up front and pay the rest later when they offer proof that they upheld their end of the bargain. Father knows this. The security around the mansion will be increased, and I have no doubt that he'll be keeping Kantoro on the second floor and surrounding him with guards."

Hyneria sighed and looked over the group assembled in front of her. "What do you suggest we do?" she asked, as if expecting Xokorn and Douglas to voice their opinions as well.

Douglas looked at Seven, who craned his neck, looking at the two Sheikah women curiously. Looking back at the women, he studied them for a moment, then turned back to the falcon. "I'm not too sure. I'm not exactly one who works secretly. That is a job I give to Seven. He's a lot smarter than most falcons." he says, while the aforementioned falcon puffs out its chest, beaming with pride. "Of course, he lets it go to his head." he adds, smirking as Seven gives him a look.

Xokorn could feel eyes turn to him, waiting for a response. He sighed as he thought. He WAS one who had natural stealth, not to mention that two of the women had the same abilities. It did take some thought to come up with something, but he was confident that it would have some kind of an effect.

"Well... We could probably try to come up with a diversion. You know, try to focus all of the guards' attention on whatever it is that's distracting them long enough for you, Hyneria, to go and get your son and come back safely.

"If that doesn't work, maybe we could try to sneak in without any distraction at all and do it the classic way. If any of the guards gets suspicious of any of our presence, we could try to use Shadowmeld to maintain the status quo. The choice is yours alone, though; I've no knowledge of the foundation of his estate to make a foolproof plan."

Each of the three women showed their own way of thinking about the plan Xokorn put forth. Marisa crossed her arms. Hyneria laced her fingers together, putting her hands behind her head and looking up to the sky. Natasha looked the opposite way, eying an ant that was passing by.

At last, Hyneria spoke up. "Yes, that is the best way to go about it, especially since two of our number can't turn invisible." She looked back down upon the group. "I'll go in alone, using Shadowmeld. You all can give me a clear path by distracting the guards out front."

"I'm going with you," Marisa said.

The younger sister shook her head. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm the quieter of the two. Besides, you've seen Xokorn in battle. He's going to need all the help he can get, which is why Natasha is also staying here." She looked over the third Sheikah, the human, and the faerie. "Think you all can handle a few guards?"

Natasha nodded her head, and Marisa said, "Of course." Hyneria glanced over at Xokorn and Douglas.

Douglas nodded, knowing that this was a good plan of action. "I can, escpecially with this." he said, pulling back one of his sleeves to reveal a fire scroll wound against his arm. "Using this, I can add fire to my punches, though I can only use it twice before I lose the power." he explained, reffering to his low amount of magic power.

Seven nodded, the lightly pecked Douglas on the head. "Hmm?" he asked, looking up at the falcon, before it jumped off his shoulder to draw in the ground. Douglas bent down to look at the drawing, then looked back at the two Sheikah women. "Would my falcon be able to help in any way?" he asked, as the creature jumped up to land on his armor-plated shoulder.

"The more help you have, the better," Hyneria said. "He can probably blind a few guards for you."

OOC: I've been meaning to ask you about Seven. Rose Hillmound is my actual character, and she's a shape shifter. I created hawk stats for her, and if you want, I can PM them to you, slightly modified to take into account Seven's intelligence. Hell, I'll just put them here right now.
STR: 3
DEF: 1
AGI: 12
INT: 3
SPI: 2
HP: 52
SPL: 0
Blind: After a successful claw attack (which deals 9 DMG [base 6 plus STR]), there is a 50% chance that Seven blinds the enemy he attacked. A blinded enemy only has a 50% chance to hit anyone on the battlefield, including his/her allies.
There we go. I'm assuming Seven has no magical abilities, but if he does, we can just multiple INT by 10 to get a SPL amount for him. As for HP, I took STR and SPI, added them, multiplied the sum by 10, and added SPI as normal.

Xokorn thought over Hyneria's last question. The last battle he had in the forest wasn't exactly a pleasant one, what with the near-death experience he had. However, after taking the advice to gather armor and following his own advice of developing vitality and ways of maintaining that vitality, he thought he was as prepared as he was going to be for a while. "Yes, I believe I am ready. Let's go."

OOC: Hi no Seijin, I STILL need to thank you for the Rupees you gave me.
