This is something that, although it doesn't affect the skills of rolplaying, is vital towards doing well on HA2. Looking at some of the profiles of the newer members, I've seen things suggesting that Link has died or otherwise unwritten events in the Rules Set. So I'd just like to get a few things clear here:

1.)Link has not been confirmed dead. Nobody knows where he went.

2.)The events here take place only a few years after OoT.

3.)Ganondorf is gone and will not be coming back unless RG or Alpha deems it so.

I'm sure some of the more experienced RPers here can add to that, as I'm still relatively new, so please feel free to add and discuss.

Also, I would suggest for every new member to read the history section at the start of the Rules Set.

Saber, I would be really happy if you, or anybody else reading this who knows what they are talking about, would PM a version of the timeline of the Legend of Zelda series events leading up to HA2. Or, for the sake of everybody, if you could post it in the thread.

I'm sorry, I really don't have time to do this (homework . . . >_>), but there is one thing I need to correct you on, Saber. The events of HA2 do not take place a few years after OoT; they actually take place roughly 2 years after The Adventure of Link, which, by a rough TDC timeline, would be about 1000 years after OoT.

Everything else he said was correct; in fact, I'll go ahead and say that we have no intention of Link being dead. I personally like Nogare's explanation, which says that there is a war occurring at this point in time in Calatia, the Hero's homeland, and he is in that land helping them out.

Also, following what Orpheous said, I find it easiest to just say "Look at the TDC official timeline, and work off that." Seriously, if we try to make an official HA2 timeline for ALL the games, the arguments that will arise will likely be absolutely insane. Doing it with TDC's timeline, we can just blame Jack for any discrepancies and then work with it.
