Its a quiet day in Hyrule Castle Town. The wind is singing its deep, lonely song. The birds chirping from the air and the trees, adding to the chorus of nature's symphony. But not all is well in town today. In the square, ten people are standing in a circle, all around a very familiar looking, red-cloaked man. All of the people around him are in black robes, hoods up, hiding their faces. Only one of them has any kind of weapon. That one has a black-scabbarded sword, and a black metal shield on his back.
Well...if it isn't my older brother. How have you been? Being a drunken womanizer like usual I see. One of the darkly dressed figures said, pointing a pale hand at the man in the red cloak and black robes. Its been so long brother since we last talked...I've heard that your trying to take on a few new students, isn't that so?
"Mathais. I'd like to say that it is good to see you, but the last time we saw each other...you tried to kill me." Sovelis spoke loudly, addressing all of those what surrounded him. "Ishmael. Elizabeth. Sammis. William. Darius. Kalim. Ricardo. Trent. You all are still alive as well. And it seems that you have added one to your foul ranks to make up for Dante." the mage in the red cloak said, turning slowly to look at the one with the sword and shield.
He is not one of us, oh mighty Tempest. It is a pawn in our little game. said the shortest, and the one to the right of the one that had addressed Sovelis first. We have given this, Fine example of dark sorcery a fragment of power. Something that makes this shadow very important to us...
All of those circled around Sovelis laughed at the Tempest. They seemed to take delight in their recent acquisitions of some creature of darkness, and empowered it to be a powerful minion. "And, what may I ask, do the Sempari need a tool to bring me down? You all could attack me now, and I would most likely perish, along with every living thing in this city."
Simple brother...we want to toy with you, as we kill you and your students slowly. We want to torment you, and make you wish that you had never made us like you, oh great High Lord of the Tempests. Mathias said, pulling his hood back, showing to the world that he looked just like Sovelis. Just like his twin brother....
OoC: Alrighty then!!! Here we go, I am starting to bring about the Sempari once more, but as major villains! They have powers to rival the most skilled warriors and mages, and they have a new...toy, you can call it. Who is this mystery swordsman? What devious plot awaits the Tempest, and all of Hyrule?
Sign-up for Tale of The Tempest I (ToT I) is here and now. I will eventually try to have the almighty Head Administrator Alpha allow me to have this as an Official Event! I need at least Seven people to participate in this. More that 7 is allowed, but remember that I'm still kinda...erm...me and the more people in this, the harder this will get. It will be a Stat Based event, with special abilities allowed only if they arre reasonable. A LIMIT OF 2 NPC'S WILL BE IMPOSED. ANY MORE THAN 2, AND THEY WILL DIE A HORRIBLE, PAIN FILLED DEATH.

"What," muttered a man crouching on a high rooftop, looking down at the event. Two others stood beside him. Each one of them were dressed in cloaks. To be more precess, they were dressed in sandy brown cloaks. The man who had first made the comment might be known as Orpheous. The one to his right was his apprentice, Simon, and the one to his left was Ryan Stewart. The three jumped down from the roof top, but they jumped into an alley way to take a closer look at the event. Hopefully there presence wouldn't be detected.

Sovelis glared at his twin, his now gold-flecked almost burning a hole in Mathais's face. "You still hate me for it, don't you brother? You and the others are the last human's alive from our Earth, and you still hate me?" he spat angrily at his brother, hatred seething off of him like an oil slick.
"Hate you? Dear brother...Hate, is not a strong enough word to use. I loath you. I despise you. I want to take your very soul, and grind it into oblivion, and kill anyone who even cares about you! You destroyed our home, and you expect me to forgive you?" Mathais cried loudly, pointing a shaky finger at his red-cloaked twin. "Your destruction, it is the fuel of my life! I have no other joy! I only want to see you die, and to destroy this world that you have grow to love!"
"I won't allow it Mathais. Your hate is weakening you, corroding your soul, just like the demon is to mine. I may have to keep that foul creature in me, but you are your own demon, brother." Sovelis growled, his irises slowly filling with golden hate. The other Sempari stood there, looking at him, ready to attack if Mathais said to.
"Even if that is true, I will kill you brother. Let me ask you something..." Sovelis's twin held his hand over his hand, and it began to fill with black flames, much like the ones Sovelis could use, but somehow, these we're darker."What would you do if I just started blasting this city? Will you sacrifice yourself, or will you let the eternal flames of the void consume everything?"

Worru was returning home from some training in the field, when he had seen an old friend of his, Sovelis, commonly, or was it uncommonly, known as the Last Tempest, though Worru never heard him called by that title before. He began to run towards the cloaked man, yelling at the top of his lungs, "Hey! What's goin' on!?", before realizing that his friend was surrounded by people in black cloaks, who were apparently not friends with Sovelis. "Uh-oh..." he said, realizing that yelling out might not have been the best of ideas.

The three emerged from the shadows. "I don't care who the hell you think you are, but nobody talks one of our friends that way and gets away with it," stated Orpheous in the most threating way possible. "The names Orpheous, this is Simon," pointing to Simon, "and this is Ryan," he said, pointing to Ryan.

Mathais turned and looked at Worru, then Orpheous and company. "And just who do you think you are? This is not the business of you lesser...MORTALS. Now leave or you will be the first to feel the power of our new Associate. Sovelis's twin said, smiling grimly at them.
"Worru, Orpheous, stay back. This is my fight. You have nothing to do with this at all, so keep your distance." Sovelis said, looking at them with his golden eyes.

Worru looked over at Orpheous, and his two friends, before looking back at Sovelis. "Like I'm afraid of them?" he said, his eyes having a faint green tint to them, far unlike Ryokiden's, Smiley's, or Being's, whenever they took over Worru, and most definately not that of the goddeses. It is, however, known that green is a color connected with courage, even if it lead to one's painful demise.

"I think it might be wise, my freinds, to let Sovelis handle his own problems." Kasei said from the nearest alley. "However, this man is not Sovelis' problem alone. He has threatened the kingdom of Hyrule, and must know the danger he faces, should he encure the kingdom's wrath." He finished calmly, hand already at his sword. Not a second later, the area around Mathias was in flame, and the rebel flame struck. At least five unnaturally fast strikes came from all directions, pinning on to Mathias' body. It seemed Kasei was serious, he had already begun the unraveling of his power over fire, his power of darkness-a yet unseen ability-was sure to follow should this fail. The mercinary had already taken the appearence of an old man, his true appearence.

"Mortals, I would be careful if I were you. I am an inkweaver, and I have come back from the dead several times," stated Orpheous with an insulting laugh. His had reached into his cloak, and he pulled out a staff. He opened the staff up, and revealed his blade. "You see this, this is forged out of both Silverdeath and Silverlife, this is one of the most powerful weapons in existance." By now Simon and gotten out his sword, and Orpheous continued talking, "That blade was especially meant to destroy evil. And Ryan is just one hell of a warrior with enough pent up rage to destroy a small army."

Arrika watched from the behind a stack of crates at Sovelis and the circle of people around him. Sovelis had already voiced that he didn't want any help, obviously excluding her as well. She swore silently, her heart beating like a drum in her chest. Sovelis could die in front of her, and she would remain here frozen like the cowardly thief she was.
"Arrika," Seth said, appearing at her side. "What are we going to do?" He hissed, concerned. "Those are the Sempari!"
"I swore to him. I swore I would kill them for him, and right now I'm too scared to even stand up. Why can't I be like Kasei or Orpheous?"
"Because it's not in your nature to be like them. Everyone has their obstacles; this is yours," Seth said wisely.
"And I suppose you're gonna whisper here with me too?"
"I will die if I try anything as forward as Kasei. Simple as that, so yes, until one of us comes up with something brilliant."
Arrika wasn't taken back by his bluntness, having experienced it for years. If her memory served her right Seth should have died at least 11 times in the past year. What a pity. "Okay. We'll go with the old watch and observe for an opening. Agreed?"
Seth closed his eyes for a moment. "... Sure. But Kasei might -he bit his lip with thought- Nah, I don't see Kasei hitting us on accident yet. Okay, yeah, that's fine."
Arrika sighed but clutched her dagger in her hand anyway.

Ishmael, take care of any interruptions. Create a barrier around us. The Tempest's twin commanded the short Sempari. Sovelis looked shocked ar tried to run before the red glow of the man's power filled the air, cutting off any help that could come to him.
Done, Mathais. No one's getting in or out unless they can weaken the barrier. But I will need the others to help hold it up. Those outside look like they can do some considerable damage. Ishmael said, walking to the barrier and placing his hands on it, keeping a steady flow of power into it.
You heard him. Do it! The leader of the Sempari said cruelly. The others, except the mysterious swordsman, walked to the red, pulsation shield and laid their hands on it. The shield flared, and grew stronger as it fed on their power.
Sovelis turned, and fastened his gaze upon his brother. "So...are you going to kill me. Or will your puppet do the dirty work?" he asked, pointing his staff at the swordsman. He needed to stall enough so that the others could break the barrier.
Mathais walked over to Sovelis, and placed his hand on his twin's shoulder. "No...brother. I'm trying to draw out your students. If they know that your in danger, they will show up... he whispered as he raised his other hand above him. To anyone without any mental abilities, the air stayed the same. But to those who could hear other's thoughts, or feelings, it was as if the air was crackling with electricity.
Sovelis pulled away from Mathais's attempt at a brotherly gesture. "Don't touch them. I swear, I will kill you..." he said as he tried to send out a message through his mind. He couldn't, because Mathais used his power to block any mental words that anyone could say.
"No one will know about this, because no one outside this barrier can hear our words. Or our thoughts....

OOC: What? I did nothing?
IC: "Ugh!" Kasei grunted, then put his hands together in thought. "This looks like a pretty strong barrier. Whoever made it is strong. I haven't had this much of a chalange for some time now. I wonder..." Kasei trailed off, then stepped back, and summoned magic to his left hand, and pointed it to the barrier. "Elemental burst!" He yelled, letting lose the magical energy.

Seth hissed with displeasure as the barrier appeared.
"Dammit, Seth! I'm done with hiding!" Arrika made a move to stand up and attack, but Seth dragged her down.
"No!" He said, worry filling his voice. "Don't. They're after us! If we show ourselves they'll get what they want!"
"Why? Have you Seen us dying?"
The green haired Hylian clenched his fist and said angrily, "I hate Tempests! Every single one of them! Like I said before, the rules of Fate don't seem to work with them!"
"So you can't See a thing?"
Seth merely growled his response and watched the Sempari with hate. "I have no idea how this is going to turn out."
"I can tell you're sick of hiding too. You know what?" Arrika said, "take my sickle. And you can keep it if we live."
"Are you serious?" He said, bewildered.
"Yea. You coming?"
Seth merely sat down with a stubborn look on his face, but took her sickle anyway. "I'll come when there's an opening," he said finally with a sigh. "We're not like the Hero, Arrika, but if you keep insisting..." He made a small, sad smile as she saluted him.
Her heart beating frantically, Arrika climbed to top of the stack of crates, jumped towards the barrier, her dagger spinning in her hand and making a final flash as she made contact with it.

"how amusing...."
A young man dressed in a snow white suit, was gazing down upon the event on the rooftops. His skin was white the suit itself and long grey hair was waving in a sudden gust of wind.
"...to see that there are so many are organisation at work." the man said with a grin.
"It is not......Edegar" said another man suddenly appearing from behind.
He was also formely dressed like the other man but instead in a black suit with a large dark blue cape covering his back. Instead to the man dressed in white, this man did not show any kindness at all.
"How nice of you to join me Duke Salimos" replied the man who did not bother looking his companion in the eyes.
"nice....yes it is nice to be on your side, Duke Edegar" spoke Salimos slowly, he was waiting for the battle to start already.
"thank you.....how are things going my dear friend?" The man's smile slowly faded away.
"Very good, his majesty's plans are perfect....nothing will go wrong"
"that's not what I asked, how are YOU doing" Said Edegar annoyed
"ugh...good...everything is fine"
"that's nice to hear,ehh... wait...a second isn't that one of your puppits?" . Edegar pionted down to Azador who ran down in alley heading to the town's square.
yes...yes he is, I wonder what he's up to?
within a few seconds the mage appeared in the scenery.
"Can't people tell me when things like these happen!?!" he yelled while taking out his wooden rod.
"And what heck is supposed to be happening here?"
OOC: I got permission from Sovelis to add those two guys upon the rooftops.

OoC: Whoops! My bad Kasei...I didn't think anyone attacked anyone...Lets just say that the barrier popped up right as you attacked...Sorry about that.
IC:
Ah...it seems that one of your precious...students...has arrived already, Dear Brother! Mathais spoke, a strange, cheerful tint in his voice. The twins sounded so similar, and looked so alike, but they are complete opposites. Ishmael. Do not lower the barrier. Let then break it, and then we shall strike.
As if driven by hatred, Sovelis attacked his brother. The Tempest's staff was nothing more than a blur, the two feathers at the end made it look like an arrow streaking at the Sempari's skull.[10+1:Roll+AGL Vs.15+4:DEF+AGL] Mathais nimbly stepped backwards, avoiding any damage. Come now Brother! Surely you can do better than that? he said sarcastically as a gilded staff materialized in his hands. Let me show you how its done!
The metal-inlaid wood shone brightly as Mathias brought it upwards smoothly, spun on the ball of his foot, and brought his weapon to bear sideways upon his twin.[4+4:Roll+AGL Vs 15+1:DEF+AGL] Sovelis displayed as much light foot-work as his maniacal Brother did previously, and ducked under the gilded weapon as it whistled through the air. "Show me what? That your skills are just as well as mine?" he taunted, stepping away from his brother.
The other eight Sempari stood at the barrier, their hands upon the smooth, red surface of the dome of dark energy. They watched silently as the brothers fought one another. The mysterious swordsman watched on with fascination, his arms at his side, ready to draw his black-steel blade if the need arose.
Outside the barrier, Kasei's elemental burst exploded into his most notable element; Fire. The fireball crashed into the Sempari's barrier with tremendous force, and exploded in a massive firestorm. As the flames died away, the sight of an unharmed shield was seen. It still held and shone in the daylight, its evil, red glow pulsating with power. Then Arrika's dagger was the next thing to touch the shield. Her blade didn't even scratch it as it ran along the side for a foot or so.
