OOC: Let's just go ahead and get this out of the way as well. Don't worry about placement in a timeline for this. Anyone can join in, but I will close it to others after the first six people post.
EDIT: Rawr, forgot to remind you all that my story arc is not part of general HA2 canon. SH has always been opened, and the Crusades aren't happening during my topics (with the only exception being the sticky over in Parapa Village). Please, please, please, please treat my stories as a separate canon from everyone else's; it'll be easier for everyone.
IC:
The Gerudo Aria Sinwater had not explored much of North Castle. She has never been in the center of the insular city before, so it came as a real culture shock when she saw the fountain there.
She didn't much care for the statues of the three Hylian woman with blank faces and robes that appeared to flow in the wind. Rather, it was the upstretched arms with the palms up, arching water into the air to fall back down into the fountain's pool that took her breath away.
Water used as decoration? It was an unheard of concept back in Parapa and Gerudo Valley. In the desert, water meant life, and it couldn't be wasted in such a manner. Or at all, for that matter. Aria's students would never believe her when she told them of this.
The Gerudic woman walked over to the fountain and looked in; it was not too deep, and rupees were scattered around on the bottom. A sign on the fountain's lip read, "All proceeds from the Golden Goddesses' Fountain are collected by the Temple of Nayru and given to those in need."
Placing her naginata against the fountain's wall, Aria took off her boots and rolled her trousers up to her knees. She sat on the fountain's edge and slid her feet into the water, kicking away the rupees around her. This earned her scandalized looks from passersby, but she ignored them; Aria was enjoying the sensation of the refreshing coolness of the water.
"The homeless can't use your legs," a woman's voice said cheerfully form behind the Gerudo.
Aria jumped, her hand flying down to her dagger. She twisted in her seat and saw a Hylian woman standing there in green robes; her long, black hair was braided and hanging over her left shoulder. She was holding a fisherman's net and a basket. "Someone should use this water," the Gerudo said.
The Hylian smiled and began using the net to collect the rupees. "We use it well enough. But then again, we're not from the desert. Hi. My name is Adelaide Zevel. What's yours?"
The desert woman's first instinct was to not reveal her name, but there was something about this woman that said it would be okay. "Aria Sinwater."
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Aria. What are you doing in North Castle? It's too early for the caravan from Gerudo Valley to be here."
"I'm from Parapa Settlement. And I'm just doing a bit of traveling."
Adelaide nodded. "Hmm, not too much today," she said, looking into the basket. If it's not too much trouble to ask, will you walk with me to the Temple of Nayru?"
Aria shrugged; she didn't have anything to do. "Sure." She took her feet out of the fountain and picked up her boots and naginata.
As they walked along, the Hylian woman explained to the Gerudo that she was a cleric, but she had performed one prank too many and was kicked out of the Temple of Nayru. But she was still allowed to claim the title of cleric, as she still went throughout North Castle, performing good deeds.
Before Adelaide could get into where she came from, a group of seven men approached them and ringed them in. "Well, well, well," the largest Hylian said; undoubtedly he was the leader. "What do we 'ave 'ere? This nice lil' cleric got the rest o' our rupees for us. 'Ow 'bout you 'and that basket over and we won't 'ave to 'urt your pretty lil' self?"
Aria thought that the cleric would hand over the money, but Adelaide dropped the fisherman's net and held the basket close to her body. "Or you can wait until I hand this over to the Temple of Nayru."
"Wrong answer." They all took one step closer. The ranger dropped her boots to better grip her spear. Aria may have been a good fighter, but she couldn't take on all seven by herself. Help would have to come, and soon.

"There we go! All clean now!"
Meurina took a step back to admire her work. She'd been polishing the statues inside of the Temple of Nayru for about forty-five minutes by now, and was just finishing up. The statues gleamed in the light, and it brought a smile to her face.
She slung the cloth she was using over her shoulder, and reached for her staff. She often used it as a walking stick, but it was really used for medical purposes. A cleric, she was, and a good one at that. She was garbed in a blue robe, which she always wore around the temple. Her hood was pulled up, mostly covering her brown hair. Her robe extended all the way down to her feet, where she wore a pair of humbly made sandals.
Severely dedicated to the Goddess Nayru, she often helped around the temple, cleaning things, and doing this and that. She spent more time around the temple than she did at her home in North Woods. Although she had no husband, and few friends, she was very happy with her life. She advanced towards the exit of the temple to get some fresh air, and pulled her hood down, eager to enjoy it. When she opened the doors, she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
A gang of men surrounding a fellow cleric, and another young woman. "Oh dear!" She cried worried. She didn't know where to turn to. There were no guards in sight at all? Where were they when they were needed? She turned to get another look at the scene- and that's when she saw it. The basket full of offerings. These men were stealing from the church. Suddenly, her facial expression changed completely. "How dare you!" She cried out, walking right up to the men. "How could you steal from the church! You'll be eternally damned for that!"
She didn't like to use the word 'Damned', but in her anger, she completely forsake her morals. "What would your mothers say if they saw you doing this? You oughtta be ashamed of yourselves. You're ganging up on women! Are you all really so weak that it takes..." She paused to count them up for a moment before continuing. "...Five, six... Seven of you to steal from two women?!" She fumed, feeling almost angry enough to bonk one of them on the head with her staff. "Shoo! Off with you- or suffer Nayru's holy wrath!"

Darilan was sitting on the bench and reading a book. He had just spent a lot of time in the temple praying, and it was good to have the fresh air.
What was going on nearby did not catch his attention, that was until the woman in the blue robe started shouting. The voice was familiar, but he dismissed it at first. It wasn't until she said something about stealing from a church that he sprung to his feet. He was infuriated when he saw the seven intimidating men standing around the three women, two of whom were Clerics. He could hear the Goddesses calling to him, asking him to stop these men from doing their evil deed.
"Stop, now," he said to them in a stern voice. "That is the money the church plans to give from the poor. You wouldn't steal from the needy, would you?"

OOC: The toothpick RETURNS. Well, considering he and Aria haven't met yet in your canon, it's more like: "The Toothpick Appears." Also, if we were supposed to use a cleric for this topic, forgive me. I didn't know. I just thought it was a trend. That's why I'm using a scribe, because we already have like three clerics.
IC: Simon too happened to be in North Castle this fine day. The temple quarter to be more precise. He was here to make some observations and notes. Orpheous wasn't the only writer after all. As he strolled through the temple district, sitting here or there every once and a while to make a sketch or try to write what he saw, he eventually noticed 5 Hylians and 2 Humans menacingly approach what appeared to be a Hylian Cleric of Farore and a Gerudo Ranger. Apparently, they were trying to steal the collection for the needy.
Nobody interfered with the needs of the needy, not on Simon's watch. He watched as a fishing net fell to the ground, and two other clerics stepped up to help her, as another citizen just kept reading a damn book. How could that citizen just sit there? But then the chap sprang up, choosing to call the theives out.
Simon had no intention of letting the element of suprise, at least for him, go to waste. Simon readied an elemental burst in his right hand, the palm of which was open and pointing towards the theives. His left clung to his staff. A while ago, Simon would have never been so brave to stand up for justice, but he had changed. Now, he was more confident in himself, more mature and more thoughtful, braver too. His timidity was practically gone. Doesn't mean he was any stronger though. He was a bloody toothpick for Nayru's sake. But, hopefully, he wouldn't need to use physical attacks.
Readying the dark blast in his hand, he shot the orb of darkness towards Hylian thief #1. "Elemental burst - Dark," he called out, the orb rocketing towards the enemy. He added, calling out to his comrades. "Warnings are for those who cannot be distinguished as friend or foe. You cannot afford to waste the elemental of surprise. These fiends need no warning; they deserve what they'll get."

And yes, there is a reason Simon can use magic. It's not just something I blame on coincidence. No, there is a grand reason why Simon would have magical powers even in your canon, HnS. It is one of my best guarded plots I have for HA2, and, despite the fact I cannot reveal it yet, I will say it concerns his heritage.

"Oh my, oh my. What a lovely vase. Such fine craftsmanship." Kasei said as he admired the art in a small roadside stand. "I'd love to purchase this." He said, then eyed the price tag the fat stand owner had put next to the vase; 1,000,000 Rupees. Such an absurdly large amount for such a small vase! "Surely this was made by the hands of the gods themselves?" Kasei asked the clerk, who shook his frog-like face from side to side. "In that case," The Rebel Flame said, "I shall take my money elsewhere." He claimed, and walked off.
What a shame, 'twas truly a beauty. Oh greedy merchant, where I not in the position I'm in, you'd be robbed blind. He thought to himself, strutting up the road. Speaking of robbery, the Shiekahn could not help but notice, seven men attempting to take down two women. Such ill-mannered trolls. He thought, as he strode over. As he did so, he saw three others join in. Simon was little-known to Kasei thanks to the scant meetings the two had. Kasei had heard of the efforts of Darilan through rumors the people often spread, but recognized the man only by the fact that he had once seen a picture bearing his likeness. The third was a woman Kasei had no recollection of whatsoever. All three were now going to aid in the defense.
Seven pathetic rouges, I wonder if they are double-thinking their actions now. Kasei said, drawing his scimitar as be approached the [Human Thief 1] and swung out in an attempt to slash open the man's gut. "Swine, play a game of death with me!"

It was a nice place to put a bench. Near a fountain, out in the sun, and everything, and Kuro had taken advantage of it's perfect location by laying down on it to catch some sun. He closed his eyes, and it didn't take long for him to fall asleep. He had been there for nearly half an hour, and it was an odd sight. Two swords dangled from his sides and the sheathes touched the ground carelessly. His right arm covered his eyes, and a long white tassel tassel was wrapped around his arm that was connected (with some slack) to the end of a two handed sword that rested on the ground in a perfectly straight position. His left arm dangled off the bench much like his swords.
Kuro, however, had an unfortunate habit of rolling onto his side while he was asleep, and as he did so, he fell off the bench. Surprisingly enough, however, this wasn't what woke him up. As he hit the ground, his right arm shifted enough to pull his sword over the bench, and the cross-section of the hilt hit him in his back.
He awoke with a groan and a wince. He grabbed his sword and sat up, leaning against the bench, and looked over in his half asleep state to see seven men attempting to steal money from the temple. Kuro stood himself up and ran towards the men, wrapping more of the sword's tassel around his wrist, and running straight into people in his haste, knocking them down in the process. He ran to the first Human thief, and swung his blade downwards, aiming for the thief's left shoulder. [Train:2H Sword L1]

Strolling through the temple grounds, Eberron glanced around. There was something... unnerving about this place. He felt like he didn't belong. Everyone here seemed to be revelling in their goddess and... he had heard enough talk in his travels, but this land was still strange to him. How he wished that he had more of an idea of the goddesses... had they created this then. Bending down, Eberron looked intently at the ground as if expecting some kind of answer to his questions to pop up and solve everything for him. Sitting back with a sigh, he decided that nothing was going to present itself to him. Maybe he could ask someone in the temple... there were times that he wished he felt a stronger connection to this land... and anyone who made flowers, couldn't be bad. Glancing over his shoulder, Eberron noticed a Gerudu by the fountain. Perhaps it was the bizarre sight of seeing a person of the desert so close to such a bountiful supply of water that had caught his eye, or maybe it was the beautiful green of the woman's dress that had gone to greet her. Either way Eberron stopped and stared at the light bouncing off the water in a stunning manner. Feeling slightly overwhelmed, Eberron let out a deep sigh and drew in the air around him. Times like this, he felt fantastic living in this world. Realising that he had begun to day dream and drift off, Eberron looked back up from his slumped position to see the Gerudu and green robe that had caught his eye earlier, now walking away from the fountain. He smiled as his gaze moved away, back towards the fountain... before suddenly being replaced by a frown. Out of nowhere, seven men moved around the two, almost blocking them from view. Standing up in shock, Eberron watched as some form of confrontation unfolded before him. In a flurry of movement, he saw people approach and reprimand the men, hearing talk of thieves and stealing from the church. Anger flooding his face, Eberron stepped determinedly towards the gang of thieves. Watching as magic and scythe was readied to attack the morally bankrupt gaggle surrounding the gerudu, Eberron couldn't help but agree with the sentiments of the attackers. Talk was wasted on these people, they were clearly bad. Not nice people at all. Letting his heavy bag filled with rocks crash to the ground, and placing his hat on top of it, Eberron rolled into a ball and moved to stop at the feet of the nearest Hylian not already engaged in combat. Poking his out of his rolled position slightly, Eberron smiled widely up at the thief.
"Hello."
Suddenly springing up, Eberron used the force he had created in his sudden release of pent up energy to project his fists up directly at the jaw of the Hylian. His grin now reaching manic proportions, he laughed while letting his battle cry reverberate through his entire body.
"DRAGONBANE!"
The energy of the hero of the goron people spread through him and he watched eagerly as his knuckles clenched harder, moving towards their target like some bizarre landslide of rocks in reverse.

OOC: And we are now full, and the thread is closed to others; sorry Havoc, but the Ancient Temples Arc is coming soon.
And Orph, I'm okay with humans having magic; it's just that in my canon humans generally don't have access to it innately.
IC:
The help Aria hoped for came. Though the thieves are quick to laugh at the new clerics' reprimand, they are just as quick to stop once four more passersby attack.
The leader of the gang, though having been made aware of the protectors, is still unable to dodge Simon's magic, and takes the full force of 26 DMG from the shadowy orb. The Hylian took a retailatory strike with his dagger, but he missed the human.
Kasei's attack just missed the human thief, who deals 7 DMG to the Sheikah in revenge.
Kuro's attack is more successful, dealing 17 DMG to Human Thief #1. However, the thief, having already attacked Kasei, is unable to return the damage.
Eberron just managed to connect with the Hylian's jaw, and he deals 17 DMG to Hylian Thief #2. Try as he might, though, the Hylian was unable to bring his dagger down upon the Goron.
Hylian Thief #3, eager to help his comrades, attacked Eberron, managing to inflict 7 DMG to the Goron. Hylian Thief #4, however, chose to attack the Sheikah cleric with his dagger, easily dealing 7 DMG to him. Hylian Thief #5 went straight for the money, but he is unable to hurt Adelaide. Human Thief #2 also decides to make mincemeat out of Darilan, and is also able to deal 7 DMG to the unfortunate man.
And now it was Aria and Adelaide's turn. Aria swung her spear towards the thief who dared attack Adelaide, but the Hylian is easily able to sidestep the naginata. However, he got a face full of green wind, as Adelaide had used Wind of Farore [-5 SPL], dealing 15 DMG to the thief in question.

Darilan placed a hand over one of the dagger wounds, removed it, and stared at the blood for a moment. "Must you resort to violence? You would do better to hand the money back over."
He knew it was too late to avoid a fight; it had already started. Giving some encouraging words to the others, he told them that they would need to move more quickly if they wanted to survive [L2 Leadership, +5 to AGI].

His eyes blazing, Eberron turned round and brushed at the area where he had felt the thief's dagger pierce his rock solid hide. Letting out a roar of anger, he decided to ignore the pest until he was done with his friend. Taking a single step towards the hylian his fists had previously made contact with. Taking a quick look at his opponent, Eberron reckoned that he could finish this with one more well placed punch. Hearing an unfamiliar voice as if in from far away, Eberron felt a sudden feeling swell within him. It was only a short speech, but this was a voice that demanded respect and filled him with a new resolve. If this person wanted him to move faster, then he would. Deciding that he had spent enough time standing, Eberron realised he had to make a decision as to his method of attack, and fast. Hesitating, he became more and more aware of the fact that he had two thieves both of whom seemed intent on gutting him. Making a snap decision, Eberron launched himself through the air, curling into a ball at the last minute. Like a cannonball, Eberron sped through the air straight for his opponents head. Picturing a watermelon, Eberron focused on the damage he wanted to cause and prayed silently that he had made the right decision in attacking these men. It was too late to change his mind now anyway. The compact goron span through the air, sunlight glinting off the rocky surface of his back as it revolved in a way that seemed unnatural for so heavy an object.

Worthless. Kasei mused silently, as he walked past his attacker despite the fresh wound in his side. The Rebel Flame simply moved forward a bit before turning around and raising his hand. "Perhaps this should do for now." He said, as a flame appeared in his open palm, and quickly became a raging inferno that shot out at the nearest enemy to Kasei at this point. [Human Thief #2]

Kuro thought of himself as fortunate, as the thief he attacked was unable to retaliate from his attack. Kuro panted a few times, and then lifted his sword once more, and pointed it at the first human thief. He stepped towards the man and thrust his sword toward his chest [Train 2H Sword L1], grunting as he pushed forward with the large weapon, intent on finishing off this awful man who would steal from the temple. Meurina gasped, and held her hands to her mouth, as she watched the fight begin. "No! Oh no! No fighting in holy grounds, please!!" She cried out, watching the bloodshed. It was clear that the fighting woudn't stop, and the fact that she was only laughed at proved it. Nothing she could do would stop these men from what they were doing. She readied her staff, and rushed to Darilan's aide. He was closest to death of all of them, and if there was one thing she was an expert at preventing, it was death. "Shh... Don't worry young man. Hold still, while I heal you..." She spoke softly, and had the voice of an angel. The blue gem at the tip of her staff glowed beautifully, as the power of healing magic closed the man's wounds.

OOC: As for Humans and magic, HnS, we are in your topics, and while in your topics, I'll do my best to support your canon.

Simon felt empowered by advice of Darilan. He could feel his foot work becoming faster and faster. Hopefully he would not only be able to evade more attacks, but land more as well, but he decided he wouldn't begin relying on his one physical attack yet.
He readied another Elemental Burst, as he watched the strategic moves of his comrades, and decided it would be best if he attacked the Hylian leader again, as that worked well the first time, and nobody bothered to attack him again. Plus, perhaps if they cut the head of the snake, so to say, the body would wither and die. That was an analogy he had learned that spoke of taking out the leader of any given group in the hopes to topple it. He shifted his attack to a fire spell. "Fire," he yelled, sending the flames at the Hylian [Fire] to Hylian Thief #1.

Eberron easily landed his fists on the thief, sending him to the ground in a heap.
The human thief attempted to dodge Kasei's fire attack, and he is partially successful, only taking 9 DMG. The human's dagger is unable to tear into Kasei's skin, however.
Kuro's own strike just managed to land on the first human, who is unable to retaliate as he too has lost consciousness.
Meurina's spell went off without a hitch, and Darilan was healed for half of his total health.
Simon's Fire spell is much more successful that Kasei's, as it caused the leader to fall. However, his theory is quite incorrect, as the third Hylian thief rushed him to attack, just managing to nick the human for 7 DMG.
The fourth Hylian thief set his eyes on Adelaide, and she cried out in pain as the dagger sliced her skin for 7 DMG. The fifth Hylian thief chose Eberron to be his target, but thanks to Darilan's leadership the Goron was able to evade the attack.
Aria focused her rage on the thief who harmed the Cleric of Farore, and her naginata is able to inflict harm on the Hylian [14 DMG]. Adelaide is just as unforgiving, as her wind spell dealt a full 15 DMG to the thief.
